Lars Sullivan's silhouette entrance is one of my favourite things in Wrestling.
Nese and Gargano had a cracker. Just such an enjoyable hour is NXT.

Just had a Bob Holly podcast binge. Something to Wrestle with as well as a Stone Cold interview with the great man . Thurmans a great guy!
I did similar, I love Bob Holly, such a mad tough bastard. On about studying the use of a compass and practicing survival techniques in the wilderness as he wants to go on one of them shows where they drop you in the middle of nowhere and see if you can stick it. Then in the next sentence he is on about spraying cars and Steve Blackman, great listen.

That 450 by Ali on the apron, holy shit. Talk about no room for error. Liking this feud between him and Itami though it's good stuff.

That Connors cure segment, Strowman is stood 5 feet from Reigns, whom he had a hell in a cell match with and a heated verbal exchange about 15 minutes prior. JUST FUCKING DON'T. Get all the Babyfaces out there, and only the babyfaces. In fact don't put that shit segment on the actual show, just donate your money and don't make a production out of it. Honest to god.
I put myself in the shoes of the kids in that audience, or watching at home, if I'd seen Hogan and Bundy have a cage match then stand side by side hugging kids as an 8 year old I'd think the world has ended. Just have some bastard quality control over this stuff, it's like it's all one big wink and nod, "the audience knows everything now so why even try".

The potential signing of Pentagon is probably the most interested capture for me personally that WWE has made since god knows when, maybe Owens. I will be fascinated to see what they can do with him, to me he is a star, he radiates something special without even doing much. Just imagine if they made him that anti-hero, the amount of masks they would sell, the T-Shirt sales. My understanding is that he speaks sound English? Dunno if anyone can confirm but I'm sure I heard that on some podcast.
It's WWE though isn't it, my excitement will die within weeks, sure he might do decently in NXT but unless Vince has died by the time he gets to TV he will be riding to the ring on a fucking lawnmower.

I love the thought of Ciampa taking on somebody like Dozovic, just something you never even think about and a proper random pairing but i'm intrigued by it. I like the idea of matches like this, reminds of the early 90s when Bret Hart would face a Headshrinker or Skinner or somat. Remember loving seeing the top guys go against lower or tag wrestlers.

This Maverick/AOP combo hahahaha, why on earth is he wearing the combat kecks and gloves and that!!!
I'm weirdly obsessed about seeing a Lashley/Rush tag team, imagine seeing Lashley throw him into other tag teams and just hurl the little fucker around.

The dress is a massive issue for me, has been for ages. When Reigns opens Raw with a promo wearing his exact ring gear it's absolutely stupid, even down to things like the gauntlets. Just have him wear jeans, a t-shirt and I see him in a Black leather jacket, similar to the Triple H look. If Rollins is into his music let him wear a band T-Shirt down to the ring, it's only a fucking 5 minute promo, instead we get incarnation number 14 of a "burn it down" Tee, what did Tonight's say - "came. stomped. burned it down". Fuck off.
I used to love the Rock in his loud shirts, Austin in his jean shorts, Trips in his leather, it gives you a sense that when they inevitably come back out for a fight later that they have changed into their gear and sort of got into fight mode between the promo and the match. Last week, Gulak came down during the melee at the end, firstly why was he there, 205 don't have matches on Raw, secondly why was he in full fucking ring attire
Astonishingly bad attention to detail for such a juggernaut of a company who could literally employ 10 people to ensure continuity and logic.

Rogan irritates the fuck out of me in regard to Wrestling, you can almost see the smirk on his face whenever it's talked about, it's blindingly obvious he has zero respect for the business and the graft that is required. Strikes me as a right cock the bloke does.

I'm actually somewhat surprised this show is getting a bit of praise. Just god awful.
They literally couldn't have fucked up the Owens thing any worse, an angle that had a bit of buzz with people wondering if he might show up elsewhere etc, cunt was off tele ONE WEEK.
The Lashley segment, and Lashley.
This might not be popular on here but i'm so over the Shield, big time can't be arsed with them. I was loving Seth, one of maybe 3 reasons to watch the show, now he's being derailed in my opinion.
Literally the whole shows purpose is lets get Reigns as few boo's as is humanly possible, and everybody i like is being hit with the shrapnel.

One of the Writers has clearly found his Training Day DVD and had a re-watch. Fucking Lashley, dead behind the eyes that fella.

A really good, clever angle to write Black off the show for a while.
I always chuckle when they do stuff in an outside environment at full sail, is it like a Uni or somat, you get random shite in the background. Black looks like he's in slug and lettuce beer garden there just sparko.

Good episode this week I thought, 2 solid matches given decent time, Impact have done great with Pentagon. Killer Cross has something pretty special about him, it's in the eyes!!!
I have no clue when, where or if it happens, but Cross vs Cage is the money feud for me.

This is WWE chaps, the plausible options of Heyman with Braun or the absolutely marvellous sounding Heyman and Reigns just aint happening, let's face it he's being paired with Mojo Rawley until Brock gets flatlined in UFC, realises that aint his bag any more and comes back to WWE.

Ciampa really is a master at the craft, unbelievable character.

He doesn't. Just like Dean Ambrose doesn't have to wrestle in jeans, John Cena doesn't have to wrestle in jorts, Roman Reigns doesn't have to wrestle in an armoured vest, etc etc.

Steph's a heel again this week, I will keep people updated as best I can, it's hard to track at times. After announcing the WOMEN'S ONLY ppv Evolution last week in grand fashion, she apparently does not care about the Universe this week.
Coach continues to not watch the show and have zero idea about characters or storylines.
Constable Corbin is still the oddest character I have seen in forever, why does he have to wrestle in a suit, like I dress in shoes. shirt and trousers for my job but when I go to 5 a side I put a football kit on. It's so weird and bizarre. Why is he still feuding with Balor, if I hear one more Small joke from the make a wish, anti bullying centric company I'm going to lose it. Load of utter garbage. The Roman story arc is perhaps the worst booking start to finish I have ever seen. Ever.
God awful commentary again, I've zero idea why cole likes elias and don't know what the fuck coach actually does. Steph flipped from face to heel to face about 11 times in an hour. McIntyre still looks proper pissed off that he has to share his screen time with Ziggler, talk about lack of chemistry.
Rollins is the only reason I watch this absolutely catastrophe of a product.

Eddie thinks Tommy's shaggin his wife aswel, heads gone.

The tall lad in LAX, Santana has something going for him, good looking bastard but comes across as rough and ready, that cannonball he did in the corner was brilliant.

That was a fucking tremendous show. I'd recommend people give this a shot, the overriding thing I took away was this was Wrestling aimed at me, a 33 year old jaded bastard that is absolutely pig sick of pancake jokes, a 70 year olds fart jokes and fucking B-Team bollocks. This was gritty, raw, edgy, every match felt like something had to be settled and a personal grudge. I aint read many reviews or seen every post on here but Callihan/Pentagon is one of my favourite matches this year, proper scrap, Callihan is one despicable mess of a man. I thought Aries performance in the main event was outstanding, he bumped his arse off and made moose look good. Great crowd, callis added a sense of importance, it all just felt like a fucking grown up version of Wrestling.

Dunno if it's been mentioned on this thread before as don't come on much but just seeing about the Netflix thing, the series Toy Hunter has various Wrestling related bits and bobs on it, it's one of these Discovery channel type programs I watch when I can't sleep at like 3am, I remember him going to see Hogan and buying one of the early figures from him. The Netflix series made me think of it for anyone that's not seen it give it a Youtube search.

Tremendous stuff. They just do things well, no secret to it, no frills, just damn good Wrestling TV. The War Raiders bit also, actually put some context to them and how they are who they are, so rather than just a couple of neckbeards we now have the story of Rowe's motorbike crash, their struggle to get to WWE etc. They do that stuff so well, the multi part series on Roddy is still one of my favourites.

I have to say, this teased Shield break up is one of the most interesting stories WWE has done in a long time, I'm absolutely loving it, proper cliff hanger stuff that is forcing me to tune in next week and see what happens. I feel Raw in the main has been pretty awful recently but they are hitting it out of the park on this, Dean is playing a blinder.
