  1. Everybody is different but I have to focus on one, two at the most muscles per session. If you are wanting to build up your arms for example 5 mins on biceps just won't do the job. Set Monday as arm day, maybe try the following routine: Bicep Curls, hammer curls, barbell curls and concentration curls, 4 sets of each, you have all the equipment needed. That shouldn't take you any longer than 30 mins, then do triceps - If you have an improvised bench do skullcrushers, then kickbacks, then dumbbell extensions, again 4 sets of each. That whole arm workout should be 45-50 mins and you will see a massive difference. Keep the weight light and reps high. I used to do full body workouts years ago and I got really frustrated that I wasn't seeing growth so developed tunnel vision for one body part per session.

Not sure how serious you are about it, seems like you are so give it a shot. The other thing I personally can't do is weight train on an empty stomach, I feel weak, lethargic and to be honest like I don't want to be there. Even if it's a banana and protein bar or something, I'd get some food in you. Lastly, you can't overstate the positive effect of a gym, I thought I was doing ok at home but within a month of using the best equipment I went to another level, I don't like them as places, they are full of parrot headed twats who spend half the time posing and taking selfies but if you get in, do your graft and get out you will see major changes.

  2. I still find Prichard to be by far the best podcast of all the Conrad ventures, Schiavone I think they smartly realised he basically knows and wanted to know sod all about behind the scenes stuff so they pivoted early on to show commentary and talking about cock and sex and stuff. I still have not worked out if I like 83 weeks, sometimes I find it really insightful but then others It's literally like nails on a chalkboard, I get the impression Eric aint that in tune with creative, as though Nash or Hogan or someone would come to him and say "we're doing this Eric" and he'd just wash his hands of it and so when pushed all these years later he seems very hazy about why and how's. I'm a Prichard mark, I can honestly listen to him talk about Bob Holly for 6 hours if necessary, I find him charming and charismatic, horses for courses I guess.

Did Vince suddenly rediscover the WWF shark cage on a trip to the warehouse? They didn’t use that for the better part of two decades, now Ellsworth being in one will be the fifth time they’ve done in under two years

haha that has put an image in my head of Vince walking through the warehouse and just spotting random shit like "THAT, I want that Shark cage thingy in a match this Sunday DAMMIT".....but Vince we don't have anything written to fit that kind of match......."Well fucking write something DAMMIT". Be like when old people go around the supermarket and put weird random shite like in the trolley. 2018 WWE.

  4. Just got done with this show. I can't be arsed waffling, some of the stuff on this show absolutely appalled me, it honestly felt at times like voyeurism as I was watching it. Someone is going to die on a NJPW show sooner rather than later, that is my prediction.

  5. The thing that grates me is WWE has a hook in me, because when they do something (increasingly less) that I like, I LOVE it, it gives me that buzz. Off the top of my head the Goldberg/Lesnar stuff, I fucking loved that little story. They are capable at any turn of producing a little diamond like that and it keeps me going. Similar I guess to Harmonic Generator I'm invested in story and characters and most of all stakes, stakes get my interest, that is why I'm sorry but I couldn't give a flying shite about watching Flip Gordon vs Will Osprey at All In. That might not even be a match but you get the point, I aint watching an exhibition of moves for the sake of it I want some background, a plot to delve in to that stirs my emotions.

Another massive issue for me is the commentary, it's such a vital part and any big moment I recall I know the commentary for, whether it be Monsoon/Jesse or Heenan, then JR in the 90's. It's so bad Today, absolutely god awful, on Raw this week something heelish happened, a beat down of some sort and Cole never said a fucking word, he should be up in arms, raging, it drives me nuts as it's so easy to fix. Don't get me started on the other vanilla bastards Tom Phillips and Vic Joseph, it's all so formulaic and corporate bullshit, it's like they come off a factory assembly line. Not too good looking that they stand out, but certainly not ugly, not too opinionated but can push the charity shite, don't under any circumstances call the moves, just go "OHHHHH" and "AHHHHH".

Sorry, I'm hot and bothered at work and a rant seemed a good idea.

  6. Anybody still bother with Impact? I'm actually enjoying it more than I have in a while, it's a good easy watch. Things I like: The build of Brian Cage as an unstoppable monster, the OVE stuff, Callihan really does the disgusting vile cretin well, in turn making me more interested in Eddie Edwards than any other time as normally the bloke is right up there on the Nese dullness scale. Seeing Pentagon on a weekly basis in something other than LU, he definitely has some of that star quality, you can just tell when he gets a hot tag and the crowd reacts to him. The intro of this Killer Cross guy.

Only real complaints are Josh Matthews, and also the current title picture, I just don't buy Moose, at all, in any way. I look at him and I see an NFL player, playing pro wrestler, I just can't help it, seems a nice chap but I can't get behind him. Looking forward to what I'm guessing will be an Aries/Cage match that crowns Cage at Bound For Glory maybe.

  7. Didn't Braun and Reigns just have a drawn out thing, it's fresh in my memory Braun tipping shite on him every week and throwing him through walls etc. Who the hell does Braun feud with once he's got the belt, he's been booked that strong that it's hard to SEE anybody in there, opposing him and in my mind having a shot. Heel Lashley? Mcintyre, big bastard that he is? I see all this knowing it's gonna be Kane isn't it.

  8. He was also the absolute fucking shits. For a 4 minute match he seemed to have zero clue what he was actually doing out there. 205 live is irritating the crap out of me again, when it's in a tournament format it's tremendous, but aside from the title scene they literally have no idea what to do with the other 40 minutes of time so you get all these luchadors in some faction that I couldn't give less of a shit about.

  9. Yeah that opening segment was fucking painful, how that gets through the net is way beyond me, awful Wrestling TV. And as for Sami/Bobby, that right there is 2 guys that KNOW this is a load of shit, and they are just clocking in and clocking out, get it over with and move on, I actually reckon the match itself will be good it's just everything around it that is bizarre and shit.

I wanted to close this post with a positive and something I'm excited for on Raw, but I'm struggling big time, I guess I like watching Braun, such a likeable oaf.

  10. I think he's trolling at this point, he knows full well it don't matter, he's got the money in the bank (no pun intended) from the TV deals. The days of needing a star are so far gone it's not even funny, nobody really moves the numbers, it's the juggernaut that is WWE that drives everything. The personality void that is Magnus could be on top and they'd do the same - ok, not great, but consistent ratings etc. that keep the execs happy, whilst putting most of the effort in to charitable causes and shit films.

  11. Just some Nitro thoughts, the episode before Souled Out '97, Macho holding the show hostage might be the finest half hour of Wrestling out there. I was like a little kid again, some of this stuff I saw at the time and some I didn't, I couldn't for the life of me recall this in my brain and it was such a joy to watch.

Also, how fucking over is Lex Luger, what a Wrestler. That cocky arsehole run as a tag team with Sting followed by the WCW figurehead into 97, the energy in the building for his matches is off the charts, and the Rack is consistently one of the biggest pops of the night.

  12. I was listening to some podcast or another that reviews NXT and they were saying any Dream fans better pray Vince retires or dies before he's called up, and it's bang on. He'll be fucking dancing and gyrating with New Day within a month on the main show, any aspect of what makes him one of the most interesting characters I've seen in years will be gone. Dead.
