  1. I have done sling for the first few months for all my kids but I know that most people find it difficult not to do without. I can't recommend one either as the last one I got is a bit shit and I can't remember beyond that.

Will Ospreay could misspell  every word and put commas everywhere and it wouldn't bother me. The fact that the little cunt has made his statement all about him is beyond belief.

What a horrible little prick. He needs to stop using his Ralph Wiggum "Me fail English, that's unpossible" excuses all the time and own things like a grown up.

    What an absolute scrote.

It isn't beyond belief at all with him though is it. It is exactly what everyone has come to expect.

I tried listening to Lapsed Fan a couple of times, but large swathes of the podcast seemed to be one of the guys doing a bad Vince McMahon impression. That's a thank you, no.

I mean if you don't enjoy that you have made the right move because that is a fair snapshot.

Often wonder how useful McDevitt actually is as a lawyer, like how hard is it to defend against people the company you're defending fucked up beyond repair? Does he take any other cases or just WWE vs Big Vito level shite?

I'm absolutely certain Vinnie Mac pays him enough that he certainly doesnt need to take more cases.

  5. I powerbowmbed my friend in one of the muck about fights we used to have when I was about 22. I was four stone heavier then him and doing serious weight training at the time. Took every once of strength I had so it's no mean feat. I also broke the arm of the sofa in the flat we rented doing it.

The outcomes are predetermined but the hazards are real.

We honestly nearly got one of our dog for my wife's mother for Christmas. We aren't going to have kids, so thought this would go nicely on her wall of grandchildren.

Kids dressed up as royalty would be significantly worse.

You really have to get it spot on with the videos with guest appearances though. One slip up and you're jizzing to 6ix9ine or Lil Wayne.

Two birds with one stone proof that neither racism or homophobia exist.

The series of matches with Doink in 93 to qualify for King Of The Ring were really good as well.

It’s weird though, as much as I love watching Perfect, and as good a performer as he clearly was, there aren’t that many matches of his that I’d say were really great. Pretty much everything he ever did with Bret is a given. The Flair match, the Doink stuff, I’m fond of the Blue Blazer match at WrestleMania V. Aside from that, there aren’t many jumping out. Similar with guys like Ted Dibiase and especially Jake Roberts. Everything they did looked smooth, but the emphasis wasn’t so much on having killer matches back then as it was about characters. At least in the WWF. Guess that’s why guys like Steamboat, Bret and Dynamite’s in ring stuff stood out. Obviously, in NWA/WCW, bell to bell match quality was a bigger priority and they had Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Midnight Express, Barry Windham and so on. But a lot of the best guys in WWF in the late 80s didn’t really have that many standout matches when you think back. I can only think of a handful of specific matches I really liked from Perfect, Rude, Dibiase etc.

I think you nailed it at the end the platform for them to have good matches just weren't available and very rarely was that the goal if the match. If he was around today he would get 20 minutes on TV at least once a week to try and have a great match.

Lads, it's 10am on a nice sunny Sunday, go and do something instead of feeding the troll.

I've just had a lovely oat milk latte and am about to eat a scrambled tofu and avocado wrap in the park.

There is no helping him, why even try?

I swear you have told us about the wrap and latte to draw heat onto yourself and remove the attention the troll desires and I applaud your efforts.

  10. Rewatching a couple of 97 Raws and it reminded me of my dislike for Pillman as his loose cannon character.

I loved him beforehand and I when I spell out what he was I should love him as everyone else does but he always got on my tits

Even after reading the great book by our  @Liam O'Rourke in which he came across as incredibly likeable and interesting it just didn't grab me at all.

For this to be the greatest wrestling match ever for me personally (and I'm going down the sports entertainment route), there's unfortunately going to have to be run-ins or some sort of appearance from Christian, Bob Orton, Legacy (now Cody showing up WOULD be something...), Lita, Beth Pheonix (cat fight!), Evolution, Mick Foley spitting in Orton's face, and ending with John Cena spearing Edge through a table while wearing a motorcycle helmet. There ya go, done!

A live "sex show" with Matt Hardy and Beth Phoenix.

I think I’m right in saying that if he Shawn has worked Bret at Mania 13 then Taker was losing to someone? I can’t remember who.

Never heard that. Hard to work out who would either be high enough up the card or being pushed except maybe Austin or Sid and I would of thought I would of heard if it was Austin.

Faarooq maybe? Vader, Owen or Davey weren't being featured that prominently .

    Superbrawl II!

What a superb event this was.

The opening match needed no introduction to me because it's one of my all-time favourites. Quite often when it was a Japanese vs American match in WCW, there would be visible communication problems but that was never the case with Jushin Thunder Liger and Brian Pillman. It's still, for me, the greatest PPV opener of all time and the crowd and Jesse Ventura made it all the better. It had absolutely everything that I look for in a wrestling match and it's always a pleasure to revisit it.

Bagwell and the Taylor Made Man had the 'follow THAT' match and while they were never going to match it, they still had a decent match. Taylor was having a pretty good run of matches at this time and I'm started to wonder if he was underrated. He couldn't hold his laughter at the crowd chanting "Rooster! Rooster!" at him. He lost but then battered Bagwell afterwards to a good reception.

Ron Simmons then beat Cactus Jack in a really enjoyable brawl. You could see Ron was enjoying not having to hold back in this one.

Van Hammer and the Z-Man then beat Richard Morton and Vinnie Vegas in a match that could only be described as bizarrely good. The babyfaces were both shit but they were also ridiculously over.

Barry and Dustin then beat Austin and Zbyszko in a fantastic tag match that had tons of feeling behind it. Zbyszko was so much fun to watch in his interactions around the ring and he was smooth in everything he did. I've really enjoyed this return he had.

Arn and Bobby beat the Steiners in another fantastic tag match, with the heels retaining after a blinded Scott suplexed Pee Wee Anderson. Eaton, unsurprisingly, took the smoothest looking Frankensteiner that Scott ever delivered. What a blessing he is.

Rick Rude beat Ricky Steamboat to retain the US title after Steamboat's ninja twatted him with a phone. I smell a rat! Open the windows. A slow-burner, this, as most of Rude's matches were but the end sprint was absolutely great. Superb match.

Sting then beat Lex Luger for the world title. Luger then saw his arse and stormed off to the WBF as Sting looked on after the match. I know this gets some stick but I actually think it's a great little match with plenty of impact and some quality stalling. Not a fan of the crossbody finish and it's not their best match but it's still more than decent stuff.

Does this have a shot at being the best WCW PPV of all time? I reckon so. Not a single dud, or even close to one.

Next in my viewing order for early 90's WCW so this is good to hear. I have to say some what guilty I've never seen Pillman vs Liger so that match in particular I'm salivating over.

Granted I've not seen a lot of his career, but I find it hard to believe Champer has done anything as entertaining as the RNN skits or had a match as good as Orton v Foley in 2004.

He absolutely hasn't and I'm saying that as someone who really likes Ciampa.
