ÂI always imagined Vince was undet the impression homosexuality was just Pattersons gimmick
Â
Are you taking the piss? They had to let him go once because of allegations he was fondling ring boys.
Yep just a little joke
-
I'm guessing you mean matches as opposed to just appearances because that would then surely be Howard Finkel or Liking Garcia or someone of that ilk
-

Seen it years ago on a video from a trader. From what I remember Heenan was funny, Madusa came off as to mouthy, Sting was dull as fuck and Piper was his typical attention seeking clown self. Is this accurate?
Â
Yep that's prerty much spot on. Heenan came across well, Sting came across like he didn't want to be there and Piper was cringey

My favourite one round my way is similar to the one with the dogs.Is "travellers" apparently will braid a horses tail to mark them for latter. The thought of a couple of horse smugglers braiding a Highland pony's tail sends me over the edge.
-
I too laughed but then was ashamed that I got the joke. Altough we all know Claire was the heart and soul of steps

I'm absolutely getting the Bossman one. I just need to think off a viable story to convince my wife it's one I've always had .

With his 26 inch pythons brother

I've only met a couple of people who use Herbalife an there both obnoxious hipsters. One of them is a guy who goes to my gym who I never strike up a conversation with and have never met outwith the gym but he has told me on atleast 6 occasions how much it had improved his life. Arsehole.
-
I actually have never liked Piper as I didn't start watching till about 93 so he was out his prime by that point. But that Kayfabe stuff is scary, I can only imagine he was off his nut during that interview and he thought that would garner intrest. He seems absolutely frazzled at this point in his life.

Guessing where talking a regular performer and NXT doesn't count? Probably someone like R-truth. It basically has to be someone who doesn't hit a finisher often. Probably someone in a tag.
-
If Ambrose done that occasionally I wouldn't have a problem with it but it's looks ridiculous and from a Kayfabe point of view he loses a tonne of momentum doing it so it make no sense from that perspective either

Flair is so much more humble and likeable on his own podcast, it stuns me this is the same guy who came off so overbearing and obnoxious on those Legends Roundtable shows.

Anyway, just to drop this here rather than create a thread for it, the latest Squared Circle Gazette Radio is up, as we talk from January to March of 1997 in our Monday Night War Timeline. Accompanied as always by inside notes from the Wrestling Observer Newsletters of the time, the panel discusses all the key talking points such as the frantic state of the WWF Title, Thursday Raw Thursday, nWo Souled Out, the awesome story of Austin and Bret, Roddy Piper's tryouts, shoot promos galore, Sting finally reveals his true colours, and much more. With all the backstory behind the decision-making at the time, this was another really fun show - check it out and let me know what you think!

Good timing as I was looking for something to listen too. I like the notes from the time as it's very intresting to hear the rumours and how things where received at the time. I was actually surprised at some of the matches that where getting the higher viewer ratings such as Malenko vs Eddie. It makes it harder to accept that they didn't do more with the cruiserweight a when the numbers even that early on showed they where a huge draw.

I hate stereotypes but Lana is essentially right. She can keep my belly full anytime
-
To be totally honest with you Gallows is always a lot more intresting in shoots and YouTube clips then his ring work or promo stuff. EC3 has been a real surprise for me though
-
But more than DUI. Got drunk on a night out and assaulted a police officer.
Yep that will definitely do it. They had too get did of him then really didn't they. Maybe he thought he was in a programme with Big Bossman and it was all a big misunderstanding
-
Why was Beam shoved from WWE? He strikes me as the type they would like. Good size, moderate worker and talker I could see him hanging around the lower mid card for a while.
-
I avoided Flair's podcast until I seen the positive feedback on hear and the 2 I've listened to are fantastic. I listened to Austins podcast with Axl Rotten and I hate too rag on some one who is down on his luck but he came across as delusional with his I'm a good wrestler pish. I've seen the matches he put forward as examples and the all shite.

That barnet is almost HBK levels of bad. Have we had a 'Bad Barnets of Wrestling thread' on the UKFF before?
There would surely be a big divide on what constitues bad.
Â
Your right on RVD having HBK hair. Atleast Van Dam hides it a lot better

U forgot about Balls getting a job in 05. If that what Heymans fault hes a prick. I stopped watching for a year and I would to imagine it's because of Balls. I swear I could smell the hobo through the tv
-
That's a good shout. There's a little bit of hacksaw in there aswell
-
For some reason when I was scrolling down there the 1st thing that sprang to mind was Eugene.
-
Who is left in TNA?
Well Bobby Roode is the big one for me. Altough he may just be running his contract as well.
-
I'd be more impressed watching you try and get that through customs in fairness. For about 2 grand(?) though, not a bad piece of memorabilia.
Â
I'm sure once the smoke started going off customs would get a bit of a fright!

Yeah I'm a big Baseball fan so I did know that but I can't imagine many would. It was a very common nickname for them and I instantly related it to the 70s Reds team when I 1st heard them call Kane it. I'm pretty sure they lifted the nickname directly from that team.
