  1. Hello chaps, does anybody have much experience with lower abdominal strains?  I pulled what felt like my groin about 2 months ago while running, it settled down after a few weeks but it's really inflamed over the past few days.  Yesterday I actually managed to pinpoint where the pain actually is which I wasn't able to do at first - it's in my lower abdomen, pretty much where it meets my pelvis.  I can rule out a hernia, I had one last year in a different place and it's a different sort of pain, plus I can't feel anything abnormal down there.  I've been quite inactive for the past 2 weeks as well due to a broken wrist, so I haven't really done anything to aggravate it.

For reference, it's a similar sort of pain to DOMS and it feels like I've absolutely obliterated my core doing crunches the day before.  It hurts when I squeeze my legs together and, in certain positions, when I lift my leg.

Are there any exercises that would help?  I'll see my GP about it but I've heard horror stories where a lot of GPs automatically come up with "just a hernia, don't worry fam" as soon as they hear pain in abdomen/groin.

  2. I had my hair cut the other day. My usual place was shut so I ended up trying somewhere new which has quite a good reputation. Now, keep in mind this is what my hair usually looks like:

This is what I ended up with:

What the fuck is that? Granted, I did straighten my hair to highlight how awful a cut it is, but what the fuck is that??

    I look like Lloyd Christmas.

  3. Nothing is wrong with it, and that's the point. They think they're shitting on him, but he's a heel, so the reaction is wanted. Like I said, he's one of the only proper heels in NXT.

Do they think they're shitting on him?  Wasn't he quite popular at one point, then turned heel and started getting booed?  His match with Joe in Brooklyn was quite well received, wasn't it?  I've seen no evidence of people shitting on him any more than other heels that get booed.

  4. Why exactly do you want to leave Juan?  Is it just because you're not enjoying it much yet?  I almost dropped out of Uni a few weeks in because I hated the course, but I gave it a bit more time and found I started to enjoy it more.  There were still some shitty aspects, but I kept thinking if I dropped out I would probably just end up working at Tesco and be a miserable sod for the rest of the year.  I'm chuffed to bits that I stuck with it because I got a lot from it in the long run and I would have hated myself if I'd packed it in.

Give it a little longer and see how it goes.  As bAz said, you'll regret it if you don't.

  5. Lance Cade would be the right answer for the last regular roster member to die within a couple of years of being released. Viscera is the most recent death of somebody that had been a regular roster member within the past ten years.

Umaga surely? He was released in the June and died that December.

EDIT: actually, I thought you meant person to die the soonest after being released.

  6. I completely disagree.  I think Orton is miles better as a face these days rather than the whiny heel character he played in the Authority.  I want to see him coming out and beating people up for no reason, not whine to Triple H that something hasn't gone his way.

I reckon his best work was just after he finished with Legacy up until when he lost the World Title to Mark Henry.  He was on fire at that point.  He was a mystery partner for Triple H on a Raw not long after Wrestlemania 26 and got one of the biggest pops I've ever heard which doesn't get talked about a lot.  That feud with Christian in 2011 was excellent, and featured that weird split-legged jump thing he did which is still my favourite Randy Orton moment ever.

I've read the same. But it's Eva Marie, so let's all pretend it was her fault anyway....

Of course, if Eva Marie was the one who got injured, no doubt it'd be down to sloppiness on her part and nothing to do with her opponent.

    Totally.

Infact, Eva Marie apparently acted very professionally and made the cover straight away, which was the right thing to do - she didnt panic and freeze or carry on regardless. Let's all give the girl a little credit.

On the other hand, there are quite a few reports saying she kicked/kneed Carmella in the head which knocked her out, so let's not give her too much credit just yet. Girl is fucking shit.
