It seems like Khan and TNT are more pragmatic, where Cody has more interest in sticking it to Vince. 

I like Wednesday/Thursday as my wrestling night and would rather AEW make it their own. I can see them thinking Saturday evening might be a good slot for the planned second show though. That's a decent number and with PPV's being Saturday nights it does feel like a night they and their fans, like.

I actually like cody, but he doesn't half come across as a moron sometimes..... 

A 7 o clock Saturday slot could be an amazing thing for them, catch the people before they head out\bars can throw it on in the background before the real crowd shows up...... The obvious issue is competition from hockey and basketball but it seems worth a punt....

It felt like a big show, it felt like a summerslam. Roman Reigns absolutely pisses over everyone else in that company....... Except asuka. 

Modern wrestling just looks so much better in an arena, they definitely need to figure out how to get a reaction, fucking have your heels and faces surround the ring like this big e/sheamus match. 

I understand why they've changed mandy/sonya and I can't help but respect sonya for even showing up this week. She was definitely seeing that guys face when she slapped Dana. 

AJ/Hardy was exactly as good as you'd expect, but why now? If there's no room on summerslam there's a ppv a week later......

Match, claiming she was one of the fastest learners he'd ever seen and the fact that she was training on the road instead of a school was inspirational....... WCW felt it was untouchable but it ended up being treated just like this and got taken off the air 

Other TV shows have max 22 hours of content a year. Wwe has over 250 for usa, there's also massive differences with how stars are handled. If someone from a major TV show breaks their leg, or gets pregnant, or quits, there are major rewrites and creative issues. Wwe could lose half their roster in a bus crash and still run tv that night. 

The ratings and demos will become an issue eventually, but for the amount of time wwe fills, it's a bargain.

2 things. 

1: I actually enjoyed Shawn's selling of the punt, reminded me of lads getting sparked out in the ufc and telling the ref they're fine while sitting on the canvas because their legs forgot how to leg...

2: Raw Underground is not perfect, far from it, but last night I actually cared about dolph ziggler, and I actually want to see his match next week, and I don't think I've ever said that without vomiting in my mouth..... 

Rounds in general are a nightmare to navigate at the best of times, but there's always one wanker who thinks he's won by skipping out or upgrading his drink....... 

Thankfully I'm at an age now where I just refuse unless it's 2-3 people. 

Gibbs is confusing, never really got used though so maybe they just don't want to renew her visa. Priestley is the shits, dangerous and wreckless. Havoc can die in a pit of aids...... 

Him having a match for the title in front of a rabid crowd would be awesome, but I don't think he should ever win it. It's actually one of the few times I'd be in favor of a dusty finish........ 

TNT champ could be fun, his beyond run as some generic title was fun.

I hope you're right, like I said she was a highlight of LU, And a scripted environment should suit her better, I'd be all for giving her a shot. 

I assume they're holding off on Kingston till after the ppv, I always hate when guys debut before a ppv that they're not on.

Jericho has always been a slow cruiserweight, but now he has to keep up with guys who either weren't wrestling or weren't alive when he was in his prime, and he seems reluctant to change up his style. Shame because his work against mysterio 10 years ago is the perfect template for these matches.....

Matt cardona was so far ahead of the game when it came to social media and self advertising. When z true story came out, I remember all my mates girlfriends being obsessed with it, the likes of bte wouldn't exist without it. He also did a release party for his post wwe merch where he phoned everybody who bought merch, and it took him something like 6 weeks to get through all the calls. 

I'd imagine his aew 5 appearance deal might also be because he knows there's money to be made on the indy scene as well, and he will shift ridiculous amounts of merch. 

He's a good get in a self promotion way, both sides benefitting the other, and doesn't his wrestling figure podcast do good numbers, which helps aews launch.

The thing about Kingston is that he's not the 5* match guy, but if he has a feud to get his teeth into, he will talk you into the building, and he's got a fire to him that a lot don't. If I had to recommend anything, his chikara stuff from 08-11 is solid, anything with him and hero, and his aiw run against Tim donst.

Half right, tessa wanted 150k to return the belt, so impact got a new one made. The white strap tna one moose had is a Pakistani knockoff of the real one. Hopefully means they bought a dozen and he's going to color coordinate with his outfits.....
