The Boneyard match was the best thing Taker has done in years. Can’t see how it would work if they did more than one of these on a single show or if it will flop next year when they have a proper event. 
 

Was so much better than everything else on the show, but it wouldn’t be as good in between actual matches. Got to feel bad for people like Baszler and Strowman who have had a career goal play out in the flattest way possible. Couldn’t imagine a shitter way for Strowman to win the title from Goldberg.

Years back I took an ex to see Blink 182 for her birthday at Brixton Academy. Neck Deep was supporting and I had no idea who they were so I had a look at their Instagram. They announced they were supporting by posting a screen shot of one of their posts from years ago. They were in the crowd and took a blurry photo with the caption “this is the band that have made me want to start making music, if I can achieve even a fraction of that success I’ll be happy.” The screenshot was accompanied by a caption saying “We are supporting them.”

On stage I could tell all the lads were having the time of their lives. It was so genuine that their enjoyment rubbed off on me and I went mad for them. Not listened to them since because I think they are shit, but on that beautiful night I saw some youngsters living their dream. And I was fully there with them for it. 

If the crowd could see the reaction genuinely meant a lot to American Alpha, then that would just make them cheer harder, creating a snowball effect. It is a rare lightening in a bottle moment which can’t be reproduced and only comes around every now again.

@RedRooster I was thinking they would be getting tested on arrival, then sitting in isolation in groups of two while they wait for results. I think results can come back in 24 hours, but I don’t know how long the actual test takes and if the 24 hour wait is to do with how the testers having to deal with a backlog.

Wasnt aware that there have been false negatives though. Trying to keep an eye on news without watching it excessively so must have missed that.

Have AEW said exactly what precautions they are taking other than running on a skeleton crew?

TNA had Voodoo Kin Mafia, which was just random words that would make the initials VKM. They had no subtlety about it which I think the Dark Order stuff does. The references they are dropping are stuff they would go over people’s heads unless they are nerds like us. Most the nerds will like the gimmick if they are the Anti-WWE Brigade that Pictcost is always banging on about.

Dark Order need a change of direction, but not on a Nightmare Collective where it needs to be binned off. A natural progression into something else will be fine, still early days while they find their feet with it.

The show wasn’t as good as their first isolation episode but it was a step up from last week. If the guys at ringside are all being tested for the virus I’m fine with them carrying on like this for as long as reasonable. They are making do with really limited resources at the moment, gonna be great to see them back in front of proper fans though. Hopefully Blood And Guts is the first proper show back because the atmosphere will be great.

The Lance Archer match was exactly what Marko should be used for. The offence he got was done really well and the chokeslam at the end was great. That fall away suplex was great too 

Seems like the generic unfunny comedy people love to watch while they eat their tea and think is funny because it has a laugh track instead of actual jokes. Like Big Bang Theory.

I expect it to do really well. I probably won’t watch it unless I get really really bored 

They are dammed if they do and dammed if they don’t with the Broken stuff. I’ve said before that I can’t imagine he has been sat on the sidelines desperate to recreate what he did in TNA years ago. But if they don’t get some steam out of it before going in a different direction they will have missed a trick. 
Play this for a while, get what they can from it and let Hardy go in a new direction. Especially if Jericho helps him reinvent himself, there is all the potential in the world for Hardy to add something of value

The record low is 2,950 for a Dynamite episode and TNA’s biggest attendance ever was 7,200 at Lockdown 2013. AEW PPVs have gotten 8,500-11,000 attendances.

They came out the box so strong that scalpers over bought and messed with predictions a bit. Big shows are always a sell out but Dynamite usually only packs out the side of the arena facing the hard cam. Blood and Guts was going to be their biggest crowd yet with 14000 tickets sold

And never managed to turn that into money with merch or ticket sales. Part of TNA stink is being able to take something with buckets of potential and just pour it down the drain. AEW are great at getting money out of whatever they can.

If the staff are on total lockdown together then there isn’t much actual danger to them. Filming this stuff would be safer than going to Tesco right now. However you can imagine they would rather be with their families than waiting in hotel rooms to film matches in empty rooms

Being serious, I have had an offer to move into my aunts place which is supposed to become available end of next month because her tenant is moving out. Just need to hold off getting booted from here long as I can, so if the government say no one can be evicted for a while it will be a massive help. The flip flopping until it is set in stone has just made them get really aggressive with it.

I said that instantly. The guy hid in a fridge to avoid questions from This Morning, skipped a debate on a climate change and dodged Andrew Neil because he didn’t want to be on the spot. Having to do press conferences every day without having any answers must be top of his list for scenarios to avoid. 
 

If Corbyn had it he would be live-streaming from his bed on a ventilator to show the dangers and offer support to others in the same position. Johnson is going to use this as a get out of jail free card
