APW owner Andy Bailey, who is starting up a promotion called APW and having the Skydome to hold the first show, is none other than the UKFF's own, Kriss Sprules (hold on as I find source).

Yep its him.

Sprules posted the following statement on the EWB Message Board -'You know what, I'm going to shoot here, because it's just easier.Yes, I am Kriss Sprules. For those of you who know my history, you'll understand why I changed names. However, before you condemn me to the darkest depths of hell, let me explain the situation.I'f I'd come right out and said "Hi, I'm Kriss Sprules, yadda yadda yadda" immediately that would've been it. You all know that. It's been two years since you've seen me here. I've changed and I've grown up a lot in that time. Yes, I made mistakes. Big mistakes. But I've learned from them.Someone brought up OPWO. That wasn't me from the start. But it was an incredible learning experience for me. I learned how NOT to run a wrestling promotion. I've taken that knowledge and the knowledge from the mistakes I made with IWA:W and I've used it to do something positive. That's why I called the show 'Tabula Rasa' - a clean slate is all I wanted. As some of you have already pointed out, my reputation is immensely overblown from the real me. And the guy you've come to know, and in some cases even like, "Chasing Lamely" is the real me. "Kandiman" was a persona and it still is. It's not the most likeable, sure, but it started here and it ends now. When you knew me before, I was in a terrible place in my personal life. I'm not looking for sympathy, that's not important to me. I just want to be honest, as myself, for the first time in a long time. A lot has happened since you last new me. Yes, I crashed and burned a wrestling promotion. Yes, I made the mistake of getting into the ring with very little training, and I regret it. I regret the awful match and if I could go back, I would. I know it was stupid, but I made a mistake. hands up. But I've also become a father who wants to do the very best I can by my family.Either way, whether you know me as Kriss, Andy, Kandi, or Lamely, I've worked extremely hard on Anarchy Pro wrestling. A look through that business forum will show you that. I first started working on this in May last year, learning about the business world, consolidating my mistakes in the wrestling world and putting it all to good use. I worked hard and I found myself an investor because I wanted to do this right and all above board. To do that, I had to use a false name (though it's not strictly false) when dealing with talent and fans. If any of them are upset by this, then all I can do is apologize and hope they understand my reasoning. But Anarchy Pro Wrestling is an honest attempt to do a good thing for British wrestling. I know I've pissed people off. I can't turn back time, and I wish I could. But if you knew the time, the money and the effort I've put into this, you'd see how serious I am.So judge me if you like, but I still plan to go ahead with Anarchy Pro Wrestling, as ambitious as it is, because I believe it can work and I've worked too damn hard not to and I will continue to do so until June 16th. So judge me now, or judge me June 17th when the smoke has cleared. All I want is a fresh start and to escape my (horrible) past. If that offends people I apologize. But I had to do it for my own sanity.'Anarchy Pro Wrestling debuts on June 16, 2007 at the Coventry SkyDome and has PPW Super Heavyweight champion Joe E. Legend, ROH wrestler Brent Albright and "The Irish Curse" Sheamus O'Shaunessey booked amongst others.

Hmm, well he would know that Coventry are very strict on Hardcore Wrestling (judging by the name), I mean, for BUIII the FWA were not allowed tables, surely?

Weird. I could have sworn there was a really violent wrestling promotion pottering about in Coventry already.

Must be my imagination.

Seriously though, having a wrestling show in the Midlands, where it's pretty much saturated for wrestling shows already, isn't the best of ideas.

I think the venue where they run belongs to the promoters family. (Cheers for the heads up ;)) Edited by Shockmaster
