There's been a lovely bit of absolutely knackering tribal DISCOURSE!!11!!! about this interview and his views on modern wrestling etc and if Bret being under a Legends Deal is some sort of sleeper agent encouraged to trash competitors, whereas it's probably that Helwani lad being a crafty kickbacker. Anyway the interview is great, love my boy Bret.

If it's of any worth, I've interviewed Chris Jericho a few times, Lanny Poffo (who ended up becoming a personal friend), plenty of UK workers, DDP not long after his 2017 HoF bit, Adrian Street (WAAAAAAY back in the late-1990s), Mark Schultz (ex-UFC, Team Foxcatcher), Dan Severen, Ken Shamrock, Bastion Booger & a few others I need to double-check to see if I still have the audio ... more than happy to post links to audio as & when I can find 'em in my archives.

Great stuff. I could listen to Bret talk all day long. My absolute hero.

I'll be honest I've only ever seen Helwani interview Punk and now Bret but I think he's really decent. Doesn't he get a lot of shit in the UFC world?

Also, why is he a Forest fan?
