There is no way I stay awake through that. Yeah, im hoping Padley's ambition makes Shakur open up a bit and put on a bit of a show. There's every chance he cruises to the widest points decision of all time though. Josh Padley was apparently given a load of money and a new house by Uncle Turki for stepping up here. You get in his good graces and you're all set. Quote

Considering Bakole's a guy who's had a questionable gas tank in the past you have to favour Joseph Parker here. Bakole likely has 4-5 rounds in him and Parker's amongst the most durable heavyweights in the game. Parker stops him late. What a mental week. Quote

NeverYield Posted February 22, 2025 Posted February 22, 2025 I've been bobbing and weaving on and off since 6 o clock this morning, missus is fuming, enjoy the night lads, what a cracker ? Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted February 22, 2025 Paid Members Posted February 22, 2025 Love this… Also, what do we think of the Undisputed belt for this? I like it myself. Much better than the one they had last time with the big ugly ‘UNDISPUTED’ going across the front of it. This one’s pretty cool. Quote
300 Posted February 22, 2025 Posted February 22, 2025 (edited) Is WBC the main body then? Edited February 22, 2025 by 300 Quote
NeverYield Posted February 22, 2025 Posted February 22, 2025 Yeah I like that belt I must say. WBC is held in regard as the best yes. Quote
Gooner Posted February 22, 2025 Author Posted February 22, 2025 I thought the main event was a draw, so hopefully with Bivol getting the decision, we get the third fight next. I mostly enjoyed the entire card, a lot of fun, expand more on that tomorrow after I get some sleep. Quote

Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted February 23, 2025 Paid Members Posted February 23, 2025 Late night thoughts. I thought Bivol won by a couple of rounds but it was a great fight. Better than the first, let them fight again. Parker vs Junkyard Dog was what it was. Padley showed a ton of heart against Shakur, who got booed for winning. Adames clearly beat Sheeraz, money changed hands on that. Madrimov fought a very strange fight against Ortiz, who I thought clearly won. Kabayel showed he is tough as fuck coming through Big Bang, who needs a bigger gas tank than 3-5 rounds that he has. Smith and Buatsi was a great fight, Buatsi needs to realise he doesn't know everything and can't get through on toughness alone. Quote
NeverYield Posted February 23, 2025 Posted February 23, 2025 What a brilliant night, buatsi smith was quality, callum smith did indeed have one more big night in him. Kabayel is brilliant imo, tough as they come but always fights smart and sticks to his gameplan, zhang couldlnt deal with him. Bakole useless but can took the bag home and can use the jet lag and not a proper camp excuse, sheeraz didn't like it one bit when he wasn't in control, adames a nightmare for him, and sheeraz didn't look at all like he wanted to engage, not a good sign going forward, padley deserves every bit of praise, Stevenson underwhelming, Bivol and beterbiev are so damn good I think they could box 10 times and you might get 10 different results, beterbiev is a credit to the sport and at 40 is still dangerous as they come, Bivol proved that when it counts he can make the correct adjustments and do the job, his boxing on the move last night was sublime, Quote
