"Still unbeaten, Fury has taken on some major names from the influencer world, but his record is still missing some high-profile threats with a big boxing background.

One test came in 2021 when Fury was opposed by the unbeaten Jordan Grant, but the younger brother of Tyson Fury was able to show enough quality to win on points."

That is from DAZN.com as hype up to his fight coming up against Hall on the Ultimate subscription package or you can buy it one off for £14.99. Grant at the time was 2-0 against two opponents who were at the time 0-12 combined in their professional career.

I wonder how many people read that absolute nonsense and think "yeah, that works for me, I'm buying!?"

I didn’t even know they’re charging that for it but nothing surprises me with DAZN anymore. Shameless. The fact we’re at the point in 2026 where a fight like this is considered PPV worthy is comical. And trying to use the ‘it’s not PPV if you’ve got the Ultimate DAZN package’ line doesn’t wash because you’re paying the extra for that. I’ll find it somewhere for free but can’t imagine actually paying that £14.99 for it as a one off.

Oh the bullshit is back!

I have the Ultimate package so ill be tuning in, Misfits is a good crack.

Found myself genuinely gutted that the Big Stacks fight got pulled earlier. I need to get a life 😄

That card above is all to fuck too, few of the fights have changed.

I think the Stacks fight it back on. Listen it's all silly isn't it but that was bang out of order what Jordan done 3 days before everyone is scheduled to fight. If you go on like Stacks then there is definitely the argument that someone will put it on you eventually but it's all an act, it's all a persona for the line of work he's in. I actually see Stacks now and again in one of the gyms I use and he's not a bad lad outside of all that social media performance, just get's on with what he's doing.

I think the Ibiza Final Boss is weigh Jordan in 🤣 to be fair like I said it's all silly but you're right, Misfits can be a good crack sometimes, Fury-Hall is a formality as they're pals but I'm more interested in the Stacks and Ibiza fights.

Yeah, its back on! Absolutely delighted.

But yeah, Stacks has picked a hell of a gimmick to run with. People are always going to be out to test him.

Wouldn't be suprised if Stacks get's Armz in another headlock and rips him onto the floor 🤣

Yeah definitely, I'm suprised it hasn't really happened more tbh, but I think most people realise he is "ragebaiting" as they call it nowadays, Jordan behaved like a proper wally the other day.

Can't expect too much professionalism though from this outfit can I.

Fake drama, and no ability. It’s amazing the power of social media to sell stuff like this really.  Wolf tickets.

when you look how packed out that arena is it really does show the power of social media, BKB a little while back there had cracking fights and wasn't as packed as this

similarly, good up and coming boxers wouldln't have as much of a fanbase as these guys as they literally are in the business of courting followers and getting engagement.

it does make me wonder though why people will pile into an arena for this, but won't have a look at some proper boxing.

the mcann and ibiza boss fight was entertaining in a car crash way, in the sense of it was so bad you couldln't take your eyes off it, and some of the banter of all this can suck you in in the same way pro wrestling can, but yeah, these sort of shows never fail to pack a venue

The embarrassing farces definitely outweighed the watchable fights.  Their champion rolling around the floor pretending his eyes were on fire rather than just accepting he was being outclassed pretty much summed it up for me

This bit used to baffle me but I just came to the conclusion that I’m 40 years old and I’m not really supposed to get it.

Was it Jake Paul vs KSI that basically kicked all this stuff off? I remember my one nephew banging on about that at the time and I was saying ‘if you wanna watch Boxing, why not watch guys who are actually good at it?’ But you’re right, it’s the social media age and people aren’t watching for their skills. It’s the personalities involved, the gimmicks and silly names. Basically it’s not too dissimilar to pro wrestling in that sense. It’s not really for me but I deliberately stopped bashing it to my nephew because he likes it and I didn’t wanna be that twatty uncle like I had when I was a kid constantly telling me wrestling was fake, like I didn’t already know.

I do actually see why old school MMA fans like Ebb watch this stuff as well. I guess it kind of scratches that ‘freakshow’ itch that promotions like Pride used to satisfy. I don’t mind a bit of silliness or a car crash type fight here or there. A whole show of it is a bit much for me though.

Not for me Clive, but each his own.

I do enjoy it, its just abit of fun. I don't know why "hardcore" boxing fans get up in arms about it. I like the circus too, so it checks out.

I usually have to look up who most of these people are before shows because I dont follow any of this Tik Tok/Kick stuff, but the fight week build up is usually good to follow, most of them play up for the camera, that's their whole MO.

The pro wrestling comparison is an apt. one, i'll always be a pro wrestling fan, but i find any of today's product borderline unwatchable, this probably does scratch that itch for me.

Last night was decent (but too long), Hall/Fury was about as professional a freak show as you're gonna get. No drama, just as much a "what would happen if a Strongman fought a Boxer" scenario you could hope for.

The Ibiza Final Boss/Jordan McCann was the most bizarrely entertaining awful fight you'll ever see.

Anthony Taylor put on an absolute razzie award winning performance to get out of his fight. Ive always respected Taylor's hustle but that was embarrasing.

The Brooks/Pardesi fight earlier in the night was decent.

Yeah I think Jake Paul and KSI kicked it off properly but there was something before all this as well, there's a lad called Tyrone involved with all this and I think it was him who used to host something called "Sunday Smoke" at a gym in Kent and that was pretty good to be fair, you'd get some genuine straighteners on that and it had a pretty raw feel. Similiarly, I like that "Hood Contender" stuff on YT from time to time.

100% no one really cares about skill they're just sucked in by the spectacle and I was pretty drawn in by the Stacks and McCann stuff to be fair, partly because I've seen Stacks in the gym etc and also because it's sheer spectacle. Last night was actually one of their worse shows in terms of skill, to be fair to Misfits there have been some cracking fights, evenly matched, that have been much more competitive that some prospect being fed to someone who hasn't got a chance, but last night was just 100% bizarre spectacle, me and the missus were laughing our heads off at McCann and Ibiza Final Boss it was utterly ridiculous 🤣but yeah there is definitely pro wrestling elements to the Misfits stuff.

I agree Egg it was way too long of a card this time, it went on so long that I almost debated staying up for Bam Rodriguez, which was a great fight.
