Paid Members Egg Shen Posted March 18, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted March 18, 2022 (edited) Thoughts id start a new Cage Warriors Thread. The old thread still had BAMMA in the title and thats long dead and buried, and Cage Warriors is great so it deserves its own space. Cage Warriors 134 tonight (as mentioned in the London thread). The card has been ruined by injuries but still has a title fight, and a couple of the UK's top propsects in action. Expecting a spillover from the UFC crowd, and its sold out so this should be lively. Looking forward to this ? Paid Members Egg Shen Posted March 19, 2022 Author Paid Members Share Posted March 19, 2022 Cage Warriors was bloody lovely, 7 fights, 6 finishes and the won that went the distance was a cracker. Some big performances on the night which will have been a big deal with the UFC in town (and Dana White in attendance apparently). This highlight was the highlight, look at this shit: bink. Paid Members Carbomb Posted March 19, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted March 19, 2022 That's got to be one of the best finishes I've ever seen. Just a beautiful display of technical out-boxing there. Spectacular.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted March 19, 2022 Author Paid Members Share Posted March 19, 2022 (edited) yeah, its picture perfect. Kavanagh is only 3-0, 22 years old. Exciting prospect. Edited March 19, 2022 by Egg Shen
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted March 30, 2022 Author Paid Members Share Posted March 30, 2022 No big MMA this weekend, but there's a Cage Warriors double header over on Fight Pass. I'll probably try watching both main cards. Definitely looking forward to Leroy Duncan/Melan on night 2, i think Leroy Duncan wins gold there and ends up in the UFC by the end of the year. Look closely and you'll spot the Cage Warriors return of Darren Stewart on night 1 too.

Paid Members Egg Shen Posted April 4, 2022 Author Paid Members Share Posted April 4, 2022 Utterly barmy main event on night 2. Djati Melan spent the bout worrying more about putting his contact lense in rather than what was going on in the fight. He eventually got KO'd with a flying knee and he lost his belt. I don't know the actual rules but a quick timeout to put the lense back in should be allowed surely? he was panicking so much between rounds couldn't get the lense in. poor bugger
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted May 28, 2022 Author Paid Members Share Posted May 28, 2022 i'll keep banging the Cage Warriors drum, simply because it always delivers, but there's a show tonight in Colchester if anyone is after some MMA on a UFC free weekend, though im assuming most a grateful for the break. There was a show last night, an Unplugged show without an audience but tonights is a proper show, inexplicably there's only 5 fights on the card, 2 dropped off so you're being pretty short changed if you are attending the event. What's left is quality though, 3 Welsh lads on the card which always interests me, this should be a cracking 2 hours.
