Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted August 30, 2021 Author Paid Members Posted August 30, 2021 And in fairness, that’s the type of fight they probably should be giving Shore under the circumstances with it being his third scheduled opponent and a late switch up. Still a risk though because you just never know with these last minute replacements. You never know if they’re coming in completely unprepared and just taking the fight to get a foot in the UFC door, or if the call came at the perfect time when they were training/on weight anyway. Plus they’ve always kind of got that ‘nothing to lose’ thing because they’re not expected to win given the short notice so the pressure is off in a lot of ways. It’s almost a complete lottery and I always say the guy accepting the late replacement deserves as much credit as the guy who’s stepping in. Hopefully Shore gets through this without much bother and can start making some headway.
