Paid Members Carbomb Posted September 4, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 4, 2018 An idea (and it's probably shit, but here goes): as @BomberPat says, don't have Stephanie as leader of ECW. How about, instead, she becomes co-owner of WcW with Shane? That way, they could gradually work in a heel-face divide in the wCw faction, with Stephanie heading the heels and Shane the faces, eventually leading to friction and an implosion which the WWF takes advantage of. It's overly complex, I know, so probably wouldn't work. But let's face it: wCW being faces and WWF being heels, because of where Vince and Shane were at the time, meant it was never going to be easy to book. It's a bit New Blood/Millionaires Club, really. Paid Members chokeout Posted September 4, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 4, 2018 It all could have been so much better if they'd managed to get Bischoff (I know it'd never have happened because he'd just had a failed attempt to buy the company and Vince isn't letting Eric get one over on him, scripted or not) to come out in the Shane role on that final Nitro. WCW fans get their pop, we get a proper Vince / Eric promo and you're not left with them being a heel group being led by Shane.
Paid Members garynysmon Posted September 4, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 4, 2018 We should all have seen the writing on the wall when it was turned into an internal McMahon family feud tbh,
