It's a while of airing on TV, but the cast for the Redemption has officially been announced.

SEASON-25-OF-THE-ULTIMATE-FIGHTER-REDEMP

The cast isn't as out there as the original rumored list was but it's an interesting cast of characters, several guys ive kept tabs on since leaving the UFC, others i'd literally forgotten all about. Here's the list:

Seth Baczynski (20-14), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz” during season 11

Mehdi Baghdad (11-5), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber” during season 22

Justin Edwards (9-5), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Lesnar vs. Team Dos Santos” during season 13.

Tom Gallichio (19-9), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber” during season 22

Eddie Gordon (8-4), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Edgar vs. Team Penn” during season 19

Hayder Hassan (6-3), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: American Top Team vs. the Blackzilians” during season 21

James Krause (23-7), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter Live” during season 15

Julian Lane (11-6-1), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Carwin vs. Team Nelson” during season 16

Dhiego Lima (12-5), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Edgar vs. Team Penn” during season 19

Ramsey Nijem (9-6), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Lesnar vs. Team Dos Santos” during season 13.

Gilbert Smith (12-6), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones vs. Team Sonnen” during season 17.

Joe Stevenson (33-16), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter 2” during season 2

Jesse Taylor (30-15), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest” during season 7

Hector Urbina (17-10-1), previously appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Edgar vs. Team Penn” during season 19.

Joe Stevenson is the big story here, no idea what he has left. He's still only 34 though so he may be in a position where the lay-off has done him good because he was on a shocker of a run before the hiatus.

James Krause is the current UFC fighter who's gone back to appear on the season, risky move.

The other draw of the season is the coaches. Whereas sometimes the UFC just put two contenders in there that make sense from a fight standpoint, this time it's two coaches with a ongoing rivalry. The Dillashaw/Alpha Male thing is going to blow up, it's gonna make for some good viewing.
