The 2015 UKFF UK50 - STAGE ONE!

cobystag

Recommended Posts

Five full days left for voting after today.

So far I've only had 35 voters. Only 75 wrestlers have achieved more than one vote. 18 of them however aren't going through as it stands, 5 of which placed in last years 50.

Another 18 are still up in the air right now, 8 of them placed in last years 50 with 3 of them inside the top 20.

So every vote counts!

With just a couple of days left before cobystag calls time on Stage One of this, I recently found out that one of my nominations:

And finally ’Sleazy Bastard’ Dave Mercy.

That’s right. People may scoff, but I would LOVE IT[/Keegan] if Dave Mercy made the UKFF UK50. When you consider the criteria for which the UKFF UK50 is supposed to represent, I genuinely cannot think of that many people that have entertained and engaged me more than this. You just want him to GO AWAY, but at the same time can’t help but want to see what he gets up to next. NOMINATE THIS MAN.

... has decided to hang up the boots and 'retire' from the in-ring side of things. With that in mind I'm even more determined to get him in the UK50 on what is looking like his last chance. So, here's a tribute video to the man in question:

NOMINATE THIS MAN.

You've got tonight, Saturday and Sunday left folks.

Currently there is a tie for the last 4 places against 16 wrestlers.

With how strong BritWres is right now, a lot of guys deserve a lot more nominations than what they currently have.

Every vote counts!

Today is the last day to vote people.

There are a few names I think people will be surprised to see not get through to this years 50.

So you, yes YOU, your vote counts and it my make all the difference.

VOTE NOW!

I'm really interested to see who makes the top 50, at least half of my top 15 from last year aren't in my list for this year. It looks like this voting period may have been a good year for other voters getting exposure to a wider range of a talent.

And time.

47 wrestlers have gone through out-right. We have 7 wrestlers tied for the last three spots however.

Stage Two should be up tomorrow/tuesday.

I only had 49 voters which honestly isn't a great start but to all of you who took the time to vote, I greatly appreciate it.

From last years eligible 48 the following have not made it into this years:

21. Damien Dunne

32. Mad Man Manson

33. Dean Allmark

37. Jim Diehard

44. Cyanide

46. Liam Thomson

A further five from last years are included in the seven that will be whittled down to four in Stage Two.

What're your thoughts on the 6 from last year who missed this years cut?

21. Damien Dunne- Meh

32. Mad Man Manson- Retired quite a while back so not a massive surprise

33. Dean Allmark- Xtreme Dean is awesome, however not for everyone

37. Jim Diehard- not sure dont follow Midlands Wrestling as close as did

44. Cyanide- Not been as regular and as good this year due to other circumstances, now reestablishing himself. TNA Bootcamp wont have helped

46. Liam Thomson- slowed down since engaged  to Carmel. Seems like many this 'golden' generation are starting to leave or wind down or promote, which is a shame
