The results went into the opening post last night, and the table was uploaded shortly thereafter. There was a lot of movement despite a relatively low-scoring round, although there's no change in the bottom 6. Seph remains in last place as he made his picks - or pick (singular) in this case - late, but it was fellow Robins fan Rory who was lowest scorer this time out. The gap to Ratty at the top has been closed to just a single point by this week's equal best performer TildeGuy, who's joined on double figures by mid-table Vegeta.

Despite getting his D2D wrong, hbk4life will probably pleased that Celtic went top of the Scottish Premiership with a win at Pittodrie. He narrowly avoided the usual fate of being the worst scorer, but did gift 2 bonus points to a stonking 20 of the other 21 participants. Elsewhere, the victory for Bordeaux on the road proved fruitful, but closer to home, the rare home triumph and clean sheet for Burnley yielded fewer points, as did the score draw at Loftus Road.

In the Cup, the broadcasters were in fact right to give Somerset a miss, as it happens, since the weather didn't hold up on the coast at New Woodspring Stadium. As it's not being played until at least next week, that match is void for FPL purposes. In the 5 ties that went ahead, Barnet and Grimsby's failure to pull off minor shocks actually proved hard to foresee, with most preferring to bet against the upset at Dover which ended up taking place. Mini-surprises also happened at Whaddon Road and the Abbey Stadium, but in the former case, nobody was prepared to plump for the huge margin of victory. A fair few players did guess the latter outcome, mind.

Right, I'm aware this is late. Unlike last month, I hadn't forgotten about this. I do realise the urgency of getting the card up by Tuesday for an international round. I'm simply in the middle of a busy week after a very hectic weekend. I'll put the new thread up with the next set of 10 once I get home in an hour or so. Apologies for the delay.
