The results have been in the first post since Sunday night, and the table is now up to date here. In a relatively low-scoring week, hallicks moved further away from last place points-wise as he went from 0 to 4 exact scores in one round, with his 16-point haul easily enough to make him top scorer for the round. At the other end, MVP RULZ had the second best performance this time out, allowing him to overtake Vegeta and move to within 3 points of the lead. Lawz is still there, but he was joint lowest scorer alongside steve, whose D2D bet proved to be pessimistic. He thought Everton would take a point at home to Chelsea, but they in fact won, allowing 19 of the other 22 participants to take 2 bonus points each.

Had steve shown more faith in his own team, he'd now be 19 or 21 points clear at the top. Hard luck there I suppose. There were a few other tough outcomes to foresee among the other matches, to be fair. Newcastle's unexpected win at Villa Park caused a dud fixture for us, just as Genoa's 'away' victory at (the ground they share with) Sampdoria nearly did. Nobody got the correct scoreline from that game or either of the German ones. In fact, I think only one player thought Bremen would lose at home, but most did at least plump for a home triumph at the Westfalenstadion. Closer to home, most incorrectly went for City to take three points at The Britannia, but the score draws at Hull and Fulham and Arsenal's controversial (?) cakewalk at the Stadium of Light proved more fruitful. So did the 1-1 in the Derby d'Italia, come to think of it.

New set of 10 coming up in a few minutes, including another D2D.
