Fog Dude
Almost forgot about this! Left out the german games as they've kicked off. This is why I try to avoid Saturday lunchtime games if at all possible (apart from the 4 weeks per season on which Friday matches are allowed), but I don't consider 2:30 to be an unreasonably early start. It's the standard kick-off time in the Welsh league - plus it actually equated to 3:30 German time. 10 points including one score and the bonus, not bad for the first day It looks like Kaiserslautern wanted to win that game. Haven't figured out my own score yet, but I have calculated that only 3 of the other 22 players incorrectly agreed with snowman dave and therefore miss out on the easy pickings that were this round's bonus points. This means the embryonic table won't look too distorted once tomorrow's 2 results are in. The 1998 champions aren't even in the top flight at the moment, but once my top Cup choices were switched for TV coverage, their tie looked the most intriguing of what was left, because their opponents were the only 7th-tier side in this year's competition. So that fixture had the biggest gulf of any in this round: 5 divisions! Sounds like they needed a penalty in the 28th minute to help the floodgates open though. Harvey Dent
^ I thought you were going to miss this week due to being on holiday? Fog Dude
^ I thought you were going to miss this week due to being on holiday? I'm going on Tuesday, hopefully I can find some wifi somewhere though, I'm rubbish enough at this without missing weeks! When exactly on Tuesday? You were joint lowest scorer this week on 4 points, tied with newcomer Teedy Kay, so it looks like you need all the help you can get. I ask because I'm thinking of posting the card early because it looks like I'll probably be unavailable from Tuesday lunchtime until at least mid-afternoon on Wednesday, and I'd rather give people more time to make their picks rather than less. Anyway, no table to link to until the following round's update, so I have to describe how everyone got on. Some above-average scoring this time out, including snowman dave who managed to sneak into double figures despite getting his Dare 2 Disagree bet incorrect. The only other participant to disagree with him, aside from the hapless duo mentioned above, was current title holder stunstone, yet he still bagged an 11-point haul. Top scorer with a whopping 18 points was former champion cheetah69uk, closely followed by 'first respondents' MVP RULZ, Vegeta (making an impressive d
