I have 4pts from 12 games so far. Dinner on the Failboat tomorrow.

Update: 13pts and one correct score with three results to come in. Skysports.com aren't covering the French Cup, I'll try Bet365.

Second update: if these are accurate, I've got 17pts and two corrects. Snatching mediocrity from the jaws of catastrophe.

Sorry for lateness everyone. The results were in the first post on Sunday night and the table was updated early yesterday morning, but I doubt anybody noticed. Photobucket has undergone a bit of a makeover, so the usual link to it has changed slightly. On the plus side, it appears much clearer now. The avatar from Burton Albion will have been sivy's, but he seemed to sort it pretty quickly this time. Prince Nana is right that he would've been lowest scorer without that one exact score.

Instead, he's one of a clutch of players on 13 points this time out, enough to be joint second lowest. Everyone got into double figures, but three participants got no three-pointers, including this week's two worst performers, which allowed Lawz to close the gap at the wrong end by 4 points. At the top, ultimo and TUFCfan put in great shifts in 2nd and 3rd place respectively, but stunstone has really found his form since he got his D2D right, and his haul of 20 makes him level 3rd best scorer in this round, and prevents his healthy advantage at the summit from being diminished very much. In the chasing pack, it's worth noting that steve has come from nowhere into fifth place and even overtaken El Espanacas, the other main contender yet to have their turn at D2D.

As for the matches, Seph spotted the general pattern. On Saturday, many would've been in despair after 9 of the 11 English matches had taken place, but only 3 French ones. Only expected away wins for Toulouse and Sochaux stopped some scores from being downright embarrassing. Nobody foresaw the margin of victory for Chelsea at St Mary's while few would've bet on a stalemate at Selhurst Park. Most of the other Saturday results shouldn't have been that surprising though: score draws in the all-Prem clashes, easy wins for Reading and Norwich, Sunderland taken to a replay. Pickers generally got one or two of these right, but not all of them.

The two obvious exceptions were Championship sides falling to fifth-tier opposition, clearly the upsets of the weekend and the main story on TV highlights and radio round-ups. The shock at the Moss Rose wasn't even plumped for by those with a soft spot for Macc, but rather than a freak result, it was a case of a weakened line-up almost getting away with it, but losing concentration (and being a tad unlucky) in the last five minutes. I'm surprised more FPLers didn't have a flutter on Luton knocking out Wolves, mind. As soon as I heard the result I knew it would be the last straw for Solbakken. One final note from Saturday night - as Nana also pointed out,
