Influenced by a similar thread on the Terrorizer forums where I found out one of my heroes used to work in an Unwin's Off Licence, this for smashing all your kayfabe idols and listing what they do for a living away from the ring.

Meng sells Used Cars at a Toyota dealers.

Shane Douglas is a manager at Target.

Ian Rotten got fired from Taco Bell because of all the prank calling marks who targeted Rotten.

Justin Credible went to Culinary School and is a chef at Olive Garden.

Any others?

Chris Sabin - Subway

Taylor Wilde - Sunglasses Hut

...and as we discovered this week, Brooke Tessmacher worked at Hooters

Thinking bak to Power Slam interviews, I seem to recall a couple of others:

AJ Styles - Voluntary Ambulance service (Possibly a gardener too...?)

Doug Williams - Civil Engineer

It's pretty standard that the majority of wrestlers did shit short term jobs.

Think the O.P wants the "Used to be somebody but now works here."

Saying that Brooke Tessmacher working at Hooters ain't all bad.

Pretty much, yeah. Either past guys who are now retired or modern-day guys who are big names. Generally , the premise is that these guys are either really famous and therefore are assumed to be minted or even making a living from wrestling, when really they have to work unglamorous jobs like the rest of us.

"Stone Cold Steve Austin once worked a week in my local Spar when he was 14" isn't really what we're looking for. However, if it was Austin Aries working ar Spar in between Impact tapungs right now, then that'd be a better.

Not enough arse in that clip. I also love how she doesn't mention TNA once at all. She says she was a tag champion, but the promotion? Nah, not important :p
