Best Wrestling Export ... From the South of England

There was a debate about Regal vs. Davey Boy yesterday. Throw in Dynamite Kid and you've probably go the best three exports we've had in pro-wrestling. All from the glorious North. Albeit, the shit quarter.

So what about the South of England? (You can have the Midlands too, they are equally dire.) What wrestlers have you ever produced?

Worcester is more South than it is North, so "Super Destroyer" Pete Roberts is a pretty good shout I suppose. Not a household name these days, and never went to WWE, but toured Japan extensively and is held in high regard by guys like William Regal. Keith Haward too, and he was name-dropped by Dave Meltzer the other day as being one of the better and more well-travelled British workers.

Well then we should all face the fact that if your English and want to become a household name in wrestling you need to be born or live in the North. The fact being household name wrestlers like Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks, Mark Rocco, British Bulldog, Dynamite Kid are all Northerners, all successful and all remembered today therefore theyve all made a part of history.

There are good wrestlers out of the North too though, guys like William Regal, Doug Williams, Katie Lea are amazing
