Trevor
Oh Ravel..... Â Ravel Morrison may have started a new chapter of his career at West Ham United but the teenage midfielder, whose career has been synonymous with off-field controversy, has landed himself in fresh bother after posting an alleged homophobic threat on Twitter. Â The 19-year-old, who left Manchester United for Upton Park on the final day of the January transfer window, has been asked by the Football Association to explain himself after he was provoked on the social networking site to hit out in the strongest terms. Â His message will not win any punctuation prizes but it conveyed plenty of menace and has given him his place in the pantheon of players to have sparked Twitter storms. "Crack head?" he wrote. "Go suck out u little faggot your a guy that talks if u see me you try slap me I'm in manchester every week." The tweet was later deleted. Â Morrison feels like the highest-profile player never to have started a professional game. His precocious talent saw him compared at Old Trafford to a young Paul Scholes and every effort was made at United to maximise his potential but trouble has followed him. Â There have been charges of witness intimidation and an altercation with his girlfriend and, when Sir Alex Ferguson lost patience with him, his sale was sanctioned. Â Ferguson's old friend Sam Allardyce took the punt on him at West Ham, paying an initial
mikey
What the fuck is he doing back in Manchester every week? The more you see and hear from this kid, the more you'd be baffled about why anybody would consider buying him.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted February 10, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 10, 2012 I fully expect him to be washed up after a career lasting of 29 games in about 3 years. What a weapons grade teste.
mikey
Who knows. Unless he gets into drugs and drops off the face off the earth like a Robin Friday or a Justin Georcelin, somebody will always pick him up. How many chances has Jermaine Pennant had? He even got a move to Liverpool!
The Curious Orange
To be fair to Pennant he's at least had patches where he's performed. He's at his level now with a mid table team like Stoke and like Birmingham were, where he can look great in patches and people rave about him but then can go missing for a month or two and nobody notices. patiirc
Emergency Loan System, is to be gone by 2014, possibly  Means that will have to promote from within, ties in with the FFP rules when/if they come in?  Makes sense, but is a restriction of trade? mikey
It makes no sense to me at all how they can police and govern domestic transfers. I've always said, I understand transfer windows for international transfers but domestic transfers should be up to the individual FAs.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted February 15, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted February 15, 2012 Good point for the mighty Tigers last night. We're getting fuck all credit again but that's to be expected. Everyone around us won so it's easy to look at the table downhearted this morning but you've got to think bigger picture. Â We've got Brighton at home next Wednesday, moved because of their Cup game this weekend. March was already mammoth but we've now got 9 games because of the rearranged games at Cardiff and Pompey. It's going to be a killer month. We've actually got 3 Saturdays off now. Brighton moved to following Weds due to FA Cup, Blackpool moved to Friday night for Sky and Cardiff moved for League Cup final. It's a right bloody pain. Â 5 clean sheets in a row for us in the league too. Phenomenal defensive record. Conceded 5 in the last 12 games. Pity we don't score more because 3 of those were in 1-0 defeats! Â League Two looking ace at the moment. 2 points between the top 6 and the bottom 3 all tied on same points. Going to be a battle.
patiirc
Sign McManus on loan from Middlesborough, point out that it is papering over the cracks rather than solving a problem that has blighted us for ages and will cause problems in the long run, because our defence is made up of loanees and and ancient players in general or young players, that we wont let develop in the first team as we are forever signing loanees or other players over them and loaning them to lower division clubs to gain experience at Champs Level. Mention thatthis has been a problem for a number of years, and should be sorted especially with FFP coming in and the loan system possibly be ending. Get lambasted  Draw 2-2 with Palace after being ripped a new one for large parts of the match, make note that 'star' striker who scored his first two since NOVEMBER, coming on as a sub needs to be more consistent to be considered for starting and provide reasons as to why would be more confident in putting the ball in the back of the net and mention that Palace had switched off after coasting at 2-0 . Get lambasted for not overreacting and claiming that he is the new messiah, everything will be sorted and we will magically stay up  Make some acute observations that clearly the club nor the fans wish to address because they are celebrating a draw as if we have won the league, get banned from the 'official forum' without so much as an explanation, again.  No agenda there then?  Scarves anyone ?  Bleugh

So greatful I've also got EMB, telling me via PM, that Im 'too wordy' and he is banging on about Maynard and 'bullshit' stats and getting rather righteous about it, even though it doesnt matter at all, it being a forum for discussion and not a shrine to BCFC. This is despite him doing exactly the same thing that he is accusing me of, but the irony is completely lost on him.  Our fans are 'wonderful' Lol
