Heres the first look trailer for Undisputed 3 The Contenders:

Ha, Nick Diaz looks spot on. They got the scowl in and everything.

He's not Swedish, but does anyone know what Gunnar Nelson is up to these days?

He's due to fight on a Cage Contenders show in Feb, still looking for an opponent apparently

Here's a recent interview

Strange tweet on BJ Penn's twitter. Calls Nick Diaz a coward and Fitch a poser

http://yfrog.com/oc35195437j - @nickdiaz209 Look how much bigger you are in this pic..I thought you were gonna scrap from the beginning homie? What was that coward fence holding strategy to tire out the smaller man? Street fighter my ass! I made you fight like glass jaw @jonfitchdotnet poser!

I'll be ready for that weak bs next time we fight!

Strange, I thought Penn and Diaz were on good terms. This could be a hack I suppose but the rest of the tweets since have been like BJ's usual tweets, news and stuff like that. I'd suspect someone's fucked about with his Twitter because I haven't heard him say he wants to fight again yet, let alone badmouthing Nick Diaz which seems unlikely as they seemed cool after the fight.

Turns out the BJ Penn tweets weren't hacks and he meant every word. The editor of BJPenn.com, Pedro Carrasco has made some posts on the Underground forum about it

Its definitely not a hack... I can confirm it, that came straight from the mind of BJ himself...

and there is a reason why he posted it, He is fired up because now that the holidays are over and a lot of his post-fight distractions are behind him he has nothing to do but think about things and he is not happy with the way he performed in his last several fights.

I am not here to make excuses for him, but I am pretty sure people, at least with some sense of intelligence, can identify that the BJ that fought Edgar, Fitch and Diaz was not the same Penn that fought the Diego's and Florians of the world -

Things changed, but as it sits right now, he is back. That killer mentality and fire is back and it's been brewing for a while now and today's tweet is a result of it just boiling over!

Expect more from Penn to come for sure!

So as expected BJ isn't retiring after all. Man, this is all a bit of a surprise. Not the excuse making because BJ's been known for that before. But with BJ and Nick Diaz having a lot of history before the fight, and training together in the past and then being respectful after they fought this all seems a bit strange. And BJ made such a fuss about not wanting to trash talk in the Countdown and the UFC editing.

I've always been a big fan of BJ Penn so I'm glad this means he's most likely fighting again. But I could do without the excuse making. Be interesting to see how Nick Diaz reacts to all this.

I deffo agree with that. Beating Matt Hughes at 170 back in 2004 convinced him otherwise but there's no doubt he's a 155er. I still think he should have stayed training with the Marinovic's. The 2 fights he had under them (vs Florian and Sanchez) were probably the best he's ever looked.

Dan Hardy's having a pop at Matt Hughes again. This time about hunting wild cats.

Hughes

"Me and my brother love to shoot cats! If you don't like seeing dead animals please stop following me. I'm not even going to try and educate you PETA idiots."

Hardy

"Look at what I killed. Aren't I the man? This is the only thing I have found that cures my impotence. There is no justification for what he does. Shooting a wild cat for fun is a joke. I fight against other people that enjoy fighting also. Shooting animals for fun isn't sport and it certainly isn't cool. I don't have a problem for hunting if there is a purpose for it. I have never read about anywhere being overran by bobcats though."

"I've got no opponent or date set. I've been speaking to Joe Silva and Lorenzo [Fertitta's] been watching me train in the mornings. I'd like a May or June return in Vegas. I want the time to invest with my coaches. And fighting in Vegas means I can do my camp at home where all my coaches are, that would allow me to focus fully on the fight."

Between Hardy and Hughes and BJ Penn going mental on twitter, what's going on with the welterweights?

Agreed. Penn's conditioning has let him down in his career at times (vs. GSP I, vs. Matt Hughes II).

I'm with Dan Hardy here. I like Matt Hughes the fighter for all he's accomplished but as the years went on, I thought he got more arrogant as a person.

Seen that GIF before. Where did that come from?

the Penn/Diaz thing is weird, they seemed fine after the fight and to say Diaz fought like a coward is a little bit 'off' when you consider destroyed Penn standing for pretty much the whole fight. Still a fired up BJ Penn is one i like to watch fight.

They have to set up the Hughes/Hardy fight.
