Cheick Kongo vs Pat Barry (Versus 4, round 1)

Dominick Cruz vs Urijah Faber 2 (UFC 132, rounds 1 and 5)

Fedor Emelianenko vs Dan Henderson (Strikeforce, round 1)

Nick Diaz vs Cyborg Santos (SF, round 2)

Here's some that might have been lost in the shuffle

Jake Ellenberger vs Carlos Eduardo Rocha (UFC 126, round 1)

Chris Lytle vs Brian Ebersole (UFC 127, round 2)

Michael McDonald vs Edwin Figueroa (Fight Night 24, round 2)

Stefan Struve vs Travis Browne (UFC 130, round 1)

Scott Jorgensen vs Ken Stone (TUF 13 Finale, round 1)

Joey Beltran vs Aaron Rosa (UFC 131, round 1)

Dave Herman vs Jon Olav Einemo (UFC 131, round 2)

Nik Lentz vs Charles Oliveira (Versus 4, round 1)

Ben Henderson vs Jim Miller (Versus 5, round 3)

Matt Riddle vs Lance Benoist (Fight Night 25, round 2)

Takeya Mizugaki vs Cole Escovedo (UFC 135, round 2)

Mark Hunt vs Ben Rothwell (UFC 135, round 3)

Josh Neer vs Keith Wisniewski (Versus 6, round 2)

John Maguire vs Justin Edwards (UFC 138, round 3)

Chad Griggs vs Gian Vilante (SF: Fedor vs Silva, round 1)

Patricky 'Pitbull' Freire vs Rob McCullough (Bellator 36, round 1)

But my absolute favourite single round of the year is either

Diaz vs Daley from Strikeforce

or

Round 1 of the Rousimar Palhares vs Dan Miller fight from UFC 134

I can't choose between them 2.

Just read on Fighters Only that Brett Rogers is fighting Tim Sylvia on the DREAM New Years show in Japan. That's despite the fact he'll be in jail for most of the time leading up to the fight. He's getting released Dec 13th.

What the fuck?

He'll probably still turn up in better shape than Sylvia.

Blimey, I struggle to remember fights, let alone rounds!

It was mentioned in the Bellator thread and it only goes a round but I'll add Michael Chandler vs Marcin Held.

Haha I dunno why but I remember fights really vividly. If you asked me what I had for dinner on Sunday I'd struggle but if you asked me say...what round did Frank Shamrock finish Tito, boom it's there.

I bet when I'm an OAP and in a home pissing myself and getting robbed blind by my carers, I'll have lost all my marbles and I'll just be shouting out shit like 'Did you know if Matt Serra avoided Shonie Carter's backfist for a few more seconds he'd have won?'

Keith Jardine has earned the first crack at Strikeforce MW champ Luke Rockhold.

Strikeforce matchmaking, gotta love it.

Brett Rogers has already done most of his sentence. Surprised Japan are letting him in the country I thought they dont allow you in with a criminal record

I cant see it taking place.

Anyone seen the video of Chael Sonnen meeting Rhonda Rousey at the World MMA Awards for the first time (its over on middleeasy)? Chael is quite the ladies man, he bagged Rousey within seconds, she was moist.

Good on him.
