M1 are whats been stopping Fedor for years being accepted on a worldwide scale. They make somewhat of a laughing stock of him. The boot is also now on UFCs foot as, as Wandshogun said, since Fedor lost a bunch of fights, including one to someone the UFC didnt deem worthy of stying on their books, they are going to be very lucky to demand anything.

I also think that Cain would destroy him in short order, he's not the fighter he once was. I think he'd struggle with Cheick Kongo currently.

It might not be a popular opinion but I think M1 have done a good job for Fedor, he's been somewhat protected from big fights against top competition & still managed to make an absolute bucketload of cash. From a fans POV it's not great but his manager's done exactly what he's paid for.

fuck, i didn't see that one coming. Be interested to see how Rampage reacts to this...of course he wanted to fight in Japan, but he also talks about being motivated for fights. The Hamill fight is one where he clearly had trouble getting up for, and i'd say Bader is on the same kind of level as Bader, perhaps even a touch lower so Rampage might end up moaning again.

I like the matchup though.

I reckon he will be motivated, he desperately wanted to fight in Japan and I guess his only options of fights available were Bader or Bonner (quite likely Forrest said he didn't want to fight out side of the country again). He could have turned down both fights and waited for a better opponent but he didn't hence I'm sure he will be able to get himself focused for it.

Yeah I think Page will be up for this. Especially after the trouncing Bones gave him, he'll wanna redeem himself and the fact he's got his wish to be put on the Japan card will probably mean he's motivated even more. He loves the Japanese women though Rampage so I dunno if it's the fighting over there he's 'up' for or something else.

The Bader/Hamill comparison is a good one imo. Similar styles but I think Bader might be a bit tougher, better boxing and he's younger and faster than Hamill. Still see it playing out similar to Page/Hamill but it should be decent.

Hope Rampage goes old school and wears these shorts

i think Bader's only chance of winning really is to turn it into a wrestling match. After seeing Bader get knocked silly by a Tito Ortiz right hand, i dread to think what Rampage right will do.

I just hope we see an aggressive Rampage Jackson, i miss that side of his fight style.

I'd 100% agree with this. Never has there been such a spot on comparison ;)
