DannRead
Glad the venue change is sorted. Are you going to send an inbox message out to everyone? Not everyone gets a notification for the "updates" messsage on facebook .  In process of doing now. There is a lot of notifications to get through and unfortunately all bar the last minute additional door to door flyering (that I was 4hours into when I got the phone call) all our local publicity had taken place so getting word to everyone who's found out about the show by those local methods isn't going to be possible in time. I'm just one guy and doing everything myself however everyone who's bought tickets or reserved tickets will be emailed today. Will you be putting up posters at the train station re venue change?  They wouldn't accept a poster before - I doubt they would now but I'm going to give it a shot once the new posters arrive. It's women's wrestling ya know?! Even the Norwich tourist information centre said they couldn't put a poster up advertising the show because it was all women despite the poster saying 'KIDS GO FREE' '..For All The Family' etc etc.
DannRead
URGENT AND IMPORTANT UPDATE! CHANGE OF VENUE TO THIS FRIDAY'S SHOW IN NORWICH!  At 2.54pm on Monday April 4th Pro-Wrestling:EVE was informed by The Royal British Legion in Norwich (the venue for the Friday April 8 EVE DVD Tapings) that the venue was cancelling the event. The reason we were initially given was that there had been complaints made to the police about the venue holding a women's wrestling event. These complaints lead to the Police Licensing Department investigating the venue thus the venue cancelled the upcoming show. It has emerged that the Royal British Legion who have held regular wrestling events at their venue in the past did not have the sufficient licensing in place as claimed by the venue management upon accepting the hire.  EVE Management scrambled to find a replacement venue so as to not cancel the Friday event and after a few hours we struck gold thanks to our good friends at Project Nightclub on Riverside in Norwich City.  Project Nightclub is also the setting for the after show party!  Due to the venue change however we have had to change the start times of the evenings event.  The Friday April 8 Pro-Wrestling:EVE event which now takes place at Project Nightclub on the Riverside in Norwich will now open doors at 6pm with first bell at 6.30pm. The show will finish by 9.30pm.  We would also like to make it clear that despite the venue being a nightclub this is still very much a family show and kids will be allowed entry.  Tickets will be available to purchase on the doors or are available to purchase in advance from www.EVEwrestling.com  Please remember to bring your Paypal receipt as stated in the confirmation email you should have received upon booking your tickets. This acts as your ticket for entry.  Please also note there are NO CHANGES to the advertised card or talent set to appear on either night and that we WILL crown the first Pro-Wrestling:EVE Champion!  Should anyone have any questions please feel free to call 07707 087100 or email info@EVEwrestling.com  We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you on Friday in Norwich!   Kind Regards  Dann & Emily Read Pro-Wrestling:EVE   Pro-Wrestling:EVE The Championship Tournament - Night One Project Nightclub Riverside Norwich  Doors Open 6pm Bell Time 6.30pm  Europe's only dedicated all female professional wrestling promotion Pro-Wrestling:EVE returns on Friday April 8 at Project Nightclub in Norwich, Norfolk and on Saturday April 9 at The Delphi Club in Sudbury, Suffolk.  The two days will feature a tournament to crown the first Pro-Wrestling:EVE champion! Kincaid
Can't believe the tourist centre would not accept a poster. What do they think happens at these shows? Bet they would accept one with guys on and just two women.
chiefdave
Who the hell complains about a womens wrestling show?!? Could understand if it was something dodgy but all the PWE promo clearly states its a family show. Â Good work on getting another venue sorted so quickly, is Project near the Waterfront? The only places I know in Norwich are the football ground and the venues I've been to on tour!

Paid Members Southside crew Posted April 6, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted April 6, 2011 Really great to see that you have pulled of another venue at such short notice. Â Good luck this weekend guys - still hoping to get there on Saturday night.
R Sytch
Good work on getting another venue sorted so quickly, is Project near the Waterfront? The only places I know in Norwich are the football ground and the venues I've been to on tour! Â The nightclub is in the development between the Station and Carrow Road, turn left out of the Station and cross the road. Bloody great carpark next to it as well. Looking to get there as long as the rest of the week goes OK..

cobystag
EVE vs Ice Ribbon announced for 8 and 9 October in Doncaster. Â Interesting, with it being so local I'll definitely give it a look. Â I am woefully uneducated in joshi, whether it's classic or modern. Â It's just been pointed out to me that this is the same weekend as 1PW with HBK, etc.... Â Madness if you can't manage to do the shows without clashing with any HBK appearences....
