  1. Plenty of weird comments on commentary like "Goldberg being a crybaby diva as usual" "Nash could've knocked out Bill if he wanted, but he's a pro"

All odd as Nash and Steiner are still have a regular match, not like a "shoot" brawl

You can really see why it turned fans off

  2. Just watched Goldberg vs Steiner vs Nash from New Blood Rising.

What was Goldberg "shooting" all about, he refuses to take Jackknife from Nash, walks out the ring and meets Russo who he tells to "fuck off"

Commentary is talking about Bill going into Buisness for himself, and asking what Nash n Steiner will do as it's now "off script", but are both pro's so should be able to wing it.

I know it's just standard Russo but this is so bizarre to watch, really can't see what it was to achieve

  3. I've seen Tucker getting the "deserves better" "should go to AEW" bollocks online as anyone that loses does but did they see him on Raw? He looks like shit and has jobber written all over him.

No wonder no one is seen as stars these days when fans moan if anyone loses, we talk about 50/50 booking but honestly I can see why WWE do it, seems something alot of fans want, like a medal for participating.

  4. Yeah since the draft we havnt seen Big E, Aleister Black, Corbin and probably a few others, nothing wrong with rotating guys but sometimes can make them lack momentum like Black for example could do with a few solid wins to heat him up after KO feud

  5. Finally getting round to watching this week's episode.

    Two thoughts so far,

Wardlow could be a decent big man face, needs to sort his gear out, that singlet is to basic and doesn't suit his body shape, "biker" trunks would suit him better.

Other ring gear related but Kingston looks terrible, he's a street brawler so he'd better suit the combats and tank top rather than black/red/yellow singlet top.

  6. This year wouldve been a good one to do classic 4 vs 4 feud mixing to finish/start feuds something like:

Reigns, Rollins, Aleister, someone vs Jey, Owens, Murphy, Dom for example

    Anyway Raw

Thought it was decent enough show, Fiend/Bliss as said isn't for everyone but don't think it's any worse than most spooky stuff in all of wrestling.

HB vs Retribution should've been built to survivors.

I've somehow ended up watching a bunch of 2004/2005 clips of RAW as this one Youtube channel is constantly in my recommendations, why is everyone near the top in a suit and looking like shit in one? Except Batista who's been looking awesome.

Also, sweat shows up so badly in those shirts, it's pretty gross.

I've always had a disliking of guys wearing suits if it doesn't suit the gimmick, Horsemen, Evolution, MJF etc suit it cause you can imagine that's how they would dress, bragging about the cost etc

Faces shouldn't wear them with few exceptions like Batista.

  8. Kinda hope they don't go with Omega vs Page in the final, I know I lve spoken about AEW not pulling the trigger etc but them wrestling in a tournament feels to "soft" I guess and by chance rather than the heated match it should be

Unless when it's officially the final Omega goes proper heel on Page which is possible.

Kenny costing Hangman his next match then winning would properly kick things off.

Omega vs Mox in a Xmas/New Year Dynamite special, Kenny wins leading to title match vs Page at Revolution in Feb.

  9. Bret in WCW is odd, no momentum capitalized on from Montreal and a damp debut.

I can't remember all the details and maybe they did but I'd have have both NWO and WCW bid for him to join them leading to his debut/contract signing at Starcade and going from there.

Working mid card against Booker etc was great to help them but he should never have been near T.V. title, U.S at a push since it was such a stacked roster at the time.

But after Montreal I think he'd checked out and heart wasn't in it anymore so instead of fighting for more he took his pay and got on with it.

As history has shown the boys club wasn't letting new faces get on top without there say so, hence seeing similar combos for years.

  10. I'd like them to try and get the shows closer to the US airing, by the time it's on late Friday night, I've seen majority of results on socials, which I get I could avoid til I watch it.

I could Stream it which still wouldn't help AEW ratings etc.

Is it AEW or ITV that cause the delay? Even thurs night would be better.

  11. Seen a lot of "typical wwe/old man Vince breaking up a team" "dunno what they're doing" etc about New Day but I really can't see any benefit keeping them as a 3man team, they've been together for 6yrs which is a long time for any gimmick now.

If Big E wants to be a proper top guy he can't be the mid card tag guy chucking pancakes, it's gotten him over but not main event which is a different level.

Speaking of which Roman is just so good in this role.

SD seems to be in ok shape post draft

Saw Goldberg, Mark Henry and Keith Lee on screens watching Title match which was a nice touch

  12. Goldberg has posted on Instagram (only thing I have, it may be on Twitter too) that he has an "Interest" in the Reigns vs Braun match tonight and will be watching it from the Thunderdome.

Dunno if that's watching on tv, in person or as a floating head....either way exciting stuff....Reigns vs Goldberg at Survivor Series would be my guess.

  13. To me pacing is an issue for them, they need to know when to pull the trigger on some stuff like Omega heel turn or it'll loose it's moment when it happens, Horsemen style group not sure where they are with that.

They've got plenty going on and to work with which is a good thing.

Said it in previous post but not a fan of Cody, everything seems forced and too ott.

Also I read someone say his act is a subtle tongue in cheek dig at HHH with entrances, suits, 80s style, assume it came from him breaking the throne that time.

Either way he needs to be a proper heel

Does anyone thing there's legs in Reigns vs Goldberg at some point? It seems a better dynamic now, plus the addition of Heyman would bode well for getting Big Bill involved again.

Goldberg did a podcast in August with his friend, he's a strongman but can't remember his name but it's on YouTube.

Anyway Big Bill called Reigns a punk or something pretty weak like that but I'd imagine it was him keeping the door open for the feud.

And isn't he on a 3 match a year deal or similar.

  15. I've been enjoying Jay throughout G1, he's a great heel and love him winding up the crowd "chant Ibushi's name...c'mon chant!!!....that's right YOU CAN'T" nothing unusual but I thought it was well done.

I know him getting world title so soon seemed odd or not ready but now fits perfectly into his character that he could actually win against anyone.

As for G1 no idea who will win I've just been watching matches I like the look of so dunno who's ahead in points etc

  16. Maybe the execs of USA like the "chaos and unpredictablity" that Retribution bring to the show, in a kayfabe ratings kinda way? If they didn't get drafted then fans would moan for lack of creative or something.

Raw seems stacked compared to SD, I could see guys like Riddle and Lee getting lost in the shuffle on Raw with Hardy, AJ, Hurt Buisness, Elias plus more lurking in the mid.

Either should've been getting built up for a Reigns feud, after Jey deal is down there's not a lot for the Chief to work with other than Owens and E

FTR vs Young Bucks, Page vs Omega, Jericho vs MJF seem to be on the cards. Throw in potentially a 3rd match with Cody/Lee and something between Moxley and Kingston's crew and you've got a strong card.

Are they actually building Bucks vs FTR because things seemed to ready a few months ago and they only share slight looks etc instead of things escalating, FTR are doing fight every team/20min thing and bucks are kicking people and feuding with Kahn, I think they're expecting a lot more from this match that they should.

Otherwise not saying it won't be a strong card but feels things are peaking at weird times, some early and some too late

  18. Yeah never considered the idea of the TNT being a mostly t.v. which I like and makes sense.

Also should make the world title more special if it is defended.

But still think the collar match should've been saved even for the Anniversary show.

I'm probably wrong but seems there blowing there load before Full Gear, with it being the last big show of the year, Cody vs Lee should be finished and Mox vs Archer is this week so not sure what big matches are ready for the ppv.
