  1. Love it when two internet favourites wrestle its like a glitch in the Matrix, Saw comments of Cesaro vs Ziggler that they were happy he won but wanted Dolph to win too and should win next week in a rematch, 50/50 booking at its finest and they wonder why guys aren't as over as they should be.

Roman just continues to grow in his role, really want him to keep the belt aslong as possible, even through Mania if he's still this standard.

It's weird that SD feels like there's not enough time for everyone and Raw seems to drag.

Well to be fair it’s pretty much the same crowd every week that have seen him. There’s only so many wrestling fans in Jacksonville that will pay money every week to watch a wrestling show that’s on tv for free during a pandemic.

But most of the other guys are still getting a good reaction.

I said in a previous post that Sting will be more affective for the company when they can tour so there's the novelty seeing him live even if he's limited in what he does

Hopefully Darby taking all the bumps there or Sting will be more fucked than when he faced Rollins.

In the match Sting should only work with Starks, not saying Cage is dangerous but he's a big guy that's all dodgy looking power moves and clotheslines, Ricky can bump and make him look the part

  4. The Rumble is one my favourite events, last year was fantastic and set them up for a good mania (obvs 2020 happened)

This year they accidentally have some decent names that we atleast haven't been seen for a few months that could return like Rollins, Braun, Aleister Black, Edge, Jimmy USO (injuries permitting) or Call ups like Priest, Ripley etc.

Hoping for something decent to get the ball rolling for Mania season

  5. Love a good Wrestlemania theme, good ones really build anticipation and add to the show.

I thought Mania 23 theme Saliva-Ladies and Gentlemen was really good with the ringleader style beginning leading to the perfect for pyro and big moves/moments "boom do you want it, boom do you need it, ladies and gentlemen"

  6. Any the networks Instagram page posts something for 2015 for example you see loads of comments of the "good old days/better back then", not denying it probably was but at the time fans were probably shitting on it and longed for 2008 or whenever.

Rose tinted glasses will always exist, and also things will be linked to how your life was and memories of that time.

Even if 2020 product was fantastic, personal feelings and memories towards this time are most like negative.

Anybody pick up anything recently ?

My sneaker collection has grown and really improved since lockdown, must be around 30 new pairs, it's a fun but expensive hobby

Started my Yeezy collection in October and just bought my 5th pair yesterday.

  8. If he stays face post Mania, Angle is always an option straight away, Heel Booker or DDP.

Was Steiner injured at that point or waiting out his contract? Surely coming straight into a feud with Austin would've enticed him to sign.

Would say the same for Hogan, Hall and Nash but Austin wasn't interested in working with them

  9. The heel turn probably lead to his body braking down much quicker, instead of the brawling face he became the bumping heel taking stupid amounts of German suplexs from Benoit then later Angle.

They knew before mania The Rock was leaving for a bit so they should've started building the next faces, Taker and Kane may have been the plan but it had been done since 97

Benoit was in a last minute match then feud with Angle and Jericho won the IC title but he was already at that level so was neither up nor down, they were probably last minute pushes to tick things over after Taker Kane feuds bombed then HHH got injured.

A proper unhinged psycho Austin might've done well and still been popular in a heel way.

If they didn't do the invasion but debuted new guys on there own then RVD, Booker T or DDP could be new faces for him til The Rocks big return.

  10. In ring Cesaro is one of the best but as you say hasn't found a hook for the fans, I think he spoke about his short comings on Lillian Garcia's podcast and said he's better in a tag team, when you look at his best runs on Indies and WWE is in teams, The Bar was the most I've enjoyed him and they played well off each other.

Not everyone is a main event guy hence swagger, del rio, Ziggler etc being a world champion waters the scene down.

Nakamura had a chance at being a main eventer, fair enough he lost at Mania but he had multiple title matches with AJ Styles and they were mostly average to dull, creative being shit is one thing but bell to bell in on the wrestlers

  11. Nakamura and Cesaro are the latest #push movement, both should be world champions (luckily wwe have 2 I guess) and get a mega push, kinda want it to happen so fans will quickly turn on them and we don't hear about it anymore.

Same as always Roman was great "I want his chair" and Heyman putting the pen in his hand such great prickish things to do.

KO was expected which isn't a bad thing, maybe Drew vs Goldberg being iffy with drew ill they needed a proper Universal Title match incase.

Otherwise I'd have gone with Pierce Vs RR, Jey interferes, Owens returns to help, then Jimmy returns (he's due back soon) then we have the full Bloodline ready to go into Mania

Giving Scott Steiner a bodyguard would be like giving Bushwhacker Luke a toothbrush though. Not needed.

True it wasn't needed but other than being miscast as a face I think Steiner lacked not having Midaja or his freaks with him, Chyna and Trips looked great together in mid 99 when his big push started, that's the kind of thing I was basing it on.

If nothing else it may had added a few years to there run

  13. Were politics from Trips and Steph an actual thing or did she use it as she excuse as why things didn't go her way?

She was perfect for the attitude era but come 2002-03 for example she'd either have to evolve her character or end up looking out of place like Gunn, Holly, Rikishi etc amoungst the new blood.

Sounds odd but I could see her being a 2nd/bodyguard for Scott Steiner if he came in as a heel.

  14. What's John Cena up too at the moment? He doesn't get mentioned much and with Mania plans getting started you'd think he'd be factored in?

After Drew hopefully beats Goldberg, I'd go with McIntyre vs Cena for the WWE title at wrestlemania, big match John proving he still has "it" and wants his 14th reign vs Drew the leader of the new generation with everything to prove etc.

To me that's a big Wrestlemania level main event.

  15. Matt Hardy seems so out of place in AEW, his digs about "3rd party agreements" are 3months out of date and add nothing but petty digs and he's now on his 3rd version of himself in less than a year.

Another thing about Miro and FTR, even the "worst" job wrestlers in wwe aren't as bad as Stunt or Chuck, Miro hasn't had a good match since he started and FTR have ran out of steam it seems, they look pretty bored too

  16. Balor was great in his promo, he's not a great talker but the Irish accent really adds something.

Not seen the rascals/MSK before nothing bad or good about them, unfortunately guys like them are dime a dozen now.

Agree about UE, something needs to be done with them, I'd assume a call up post Mania has to happen

Ciampa and Thatcher was good, both intense with Psycho eyes

  17. I think they are realising with its Stiiiiiing is what do you do with him if he can't wrestle, I know WWE got criticism for not using him after the Rollins match but as shown, other than look he doesn't bring anything these days.

KO and Brothers should've battered those guys quick, no offense to then but it wasn't there time to shine, long matches are an issue on all shows atm.

Cody and Cargill was absolutely shit, no idea what they're trying to get out it, Brandy getting pregnant was the perfect "out" for them.

Didn't mind the inner Circle stuff, they have good chemistry together but lack a direction

Miro, still awful despite being told to give it time but it's been 5months or so, on WWE guys get written off by fans if they wear the wrong colour on there debut.

Was watching a random episode from 1997 recently and had forgotten that 'The Beautiful People' - which we usually associate with the early days of Smackdown - was very briefly the intro music to Raw.

I had no idea that happened, that's crazy its like someone did an edit

  19. Contrast in using the time on Raw and Smackdown is a big issue.

Raw for some reason struggles to get guys on TV weekly or stretches out matches and angles to take up time, for example Ryker beating Hardy with quick roll up was fine as it served its purpose but then they had Hardy Vs Elias in a longish match, lots of matches go too long on all shows including AEW aswell.

Smackdown seems to fly by and has no time for Rey, Dom, Murphy, Aleister Black to name a few, such a weird balance that they're struggling to get right.

Never used to be an issue but now it's really obvious
