  1. Enjoyed the match line up ending was really different way to finish up, minor gripe would be everyone shouting and pointing during stairdowns, apart from Balor and Dunne coming out the shadows, pose, title lift, money shot.

speaking of money Cameron Grimes rags to riches story is a great fit for him (reminds me of Jamie Noble boy) and GameStop is surprisingly on trend for them, rich redneck could be fun, won't dwell on them but already seen people complain that it's a stupid gimmick/makes no sense....soulless fucks!!

Gargano is growing nicely into his role, so is Theory as the dumb meathead sidekick

Ciampa needs to sort that hair out, he's in his 30s no need for horseshoe bald spot, big beard and bald was a badass look for him.

  2. Drew is actually a good shout for this topic

From ropey debut after few weeks in the states, sent back to OVW, Chosen one, superstars jobber, 3MB, sacked, rebuilt his name on Indies and IMPACT.

Returns to NXT, looks like a focused beast and wins the title, moves to Raw and is booked hit n miss but fairly protected in losses and working with decent names.

I think tag match with Shane vs Roman and Taker is when I thought he really stepped up and got noticed, push starts beginning of last year, looks strong in the rumble and remaining few months with crowds, wins WWE Championship....here we are now in my opinion a proper top main eventer

  3. I give a shit about Drew.

I think he's worked his bollocks off in a classic main event way to be a solid legit main event name, he fits in with Roman, Orton, Lesnar, Goldberg etc and looks above guys like Miz.

Hopefully when fans return they don't shit on him, online fans are extra venomous towards WWE the last year so it'll be interesting to see if it translates to live shows with crowds

  4. When fans return they might be so snarky and hipster that they'll think they're being ironic booing Reigns...or cheering because that's not what "Vince" wants despite it being the other way round....my head hurts.

I've said it before they should give Cesaro a solid push and world title run, if it works it works, if it doesn't I never want to hear of  "should be world champion" again

  5. I wonder how The Rock, Austin, DX, nWo etc would get on with it.

I know WWE deserves some/alot critisim over the past year but they have had good stuff like Roman, Drew title reign, Hurt Business and some other bits but the good has been affected by no fans and the bad looks even worse for it.

  6. We're coming up to a year in the empty arena era, it has been very hit and miss in both WWE and AEW (haven't seen Impact or ROH so can't comment) cinematic matches, crazy gimmicks, piped in crowds, thunderdome screens etc

Real question is how would a different Era have faired in this challenging time? Obviously technology of the time would play a huge part in what they could do but it's interesting to think how many great moments we remember being different or ruined without a crowd or natural reactions.

Imagine attitude era in either wwe or wcw with no crowds? Or Any point in the 80s?

    Angle?

From being booed on debut to a Hall of Fame career.

From what he said on the Austin network show, that was always the plan that the apple pie straight laced American hero gimmick would get booed during the height of the attitude era, weather that's wwe revised history or not is another matter, but I believe it to be true because his vingettes were so ott cheesy face and during that time they had more clue what the fans wanted and to expect.

  8. If they didn't do his return the other week a Braun being managed by Shane could've been a decent contender for Drew at Mania, I know most won't agree, but he's gotten in great shape and it's a match that hasn't happened yet so theres that too.

Him returning at The Chamber ripping doors off and battering people could've really heated him up

  9. Follow on from HBK vs Flair is Andrade vs Gargano from Takeover Texas I think it was, that's the proper template for alot of spam finishes and long matches that affect most companies these days.

I'd say the opposite for Brock vs Berg, I like it cos it's quick impactful, realistic-ish, and doesn't outstay it's welcome, if done with right power guys it works a treat imo Brock/Braun/Goldberg/Drew were right guys for those matches, Roman should quickly smash more guys now and again.

What about Owen vs Austin at Summerslam 97, Stone cold was obviously the next big thing at that point but 3 months of promo's and stunning people kept him protected and made him stand out, also lead to him changing to a brawling style that attitude era became known for

  10. I think Drew Vs Sheamus will be at Fastlane not Mania hopefully, dunno who that leaves Drew for at Mania? Cena or Lesnar still could return, or I wonder if there's more to the Shane conversation they had backstage? Not saying Drew Vs Shane but maybe someone money mac will manage?

Not a bad show just ticking along, I do like glitch in the Matrix matches like Hardy vs AJ and Riddle vs Lee where the internet moans that each guy should've won so it confuses there argument like asking an Alexa a question it cant answer, same with Cesaro vs Bryan last week.

  11. Outside the ring I imagine he's like Barney Stinson from How I met your mother, desperate to make a story out of nothing and every drunken night to be legen....wait for it...dery

I enjoy his podcast depending of the guest but his mutual masterbation with wrestlers can be sickening at times, and it's gotten worse since joining AEW being desperate to prove hes sooo entertaining and a creative genius.

His recent-ish NJPW return was a genuine great surprise and matches, in AEW I don't mind his dodgy build or look but needs to wrestle to his age and size, a short cut taking brawler with veteran knowledge would be better suited for him and more of a threat to the younger guys

  12. Trainers/Sneakers

I have around 100 pairs, Nike, Jordans, Yeezy's, Converse nothing to crazy or hyped other than some of the Yeezy's.

Lockdown really kicked off my buying and selling, somewhat expensive hobby unfortunately.

  13. @RedRooster they could start a new feud but as you say there's little chance of them winning so why waste them.

Another story I'd like to see happen is Reigns and Usos vs Rey, Dom, Murphy, I could see some great promo's and matches, Dom and Murphy as a tag champs vs Usos and Rey vs Roman would be great post Mania

  14. The KO Reigns feud continuing is a bit silly since he's been beat 3 times in various style matches, but having 9weeks of TV between rumble and Mania with 2 ppvs in-between they need filler to keep the champs ticking over especially the Rumble winners opponent.

If they don't go with the tag scenario I suggested them maybe have Roman batter Edge and take him off TV for a few weeks, Christian could be added at that point if they wanted.

  15. If they're going with Edge vs Reigns at Mania, then Edge and Christian vs Roman and Jey could be a good match for Fast lane or Chamber or E&C and Owens Vs RR and Usos.

Another solid week I thought, Heyman jumping when Roman shouted was great.

Big E needs a new challenger in the mix.

Ziggler and Roode rocking the 2001 HHH jacket, I could see Rey and Dom going for the tag titles at Mania.

Roodolph vs Mysterious vs Profits vs Usos would be a really good match

  16. Edge seems to have stopped dyeing his hair or its starting to thin, it does kinda add to his grizzled thing he's going for

Ciampa for some reason hasn't shaved his head for a few weeks and has the horse shoe hairline which makes him look way older than wet shaved, no idea what he's going for

  17. That wedding was awful paint by numbers shit, one thing AEW has done well is convince The Cult of Khan (prowresltingtees will have that printed by the time I post this) that he's a creative genius because I've seen this get praised elsewhere and "better than any WWE wedding" can't tell if they're being ironic or not.

Miro is a dud, I get the long-term booking and can't slot someone in but they had from April-Sept to come up with something for him to do, and another wedding angle was the best thing they could come up with?

  18. Depends to what's cool to some people, but to me

Finn Balor- he's got a leather jacket and dresses like a real person would when on TV, good looking with realistic and attainable build, understated charisma and accent, hot wife.

ALEISTER BLACK- tattoos, does various martial arts, unique accent, hot wife.

The USOS- like Roman, got a swagger, dress well in a streetwear kinda way, come across cool in most video's you see of them.

  19. @Supremo various reports say that Aleister Black is due back soon and been planning an angle for him, they kept him of TV to let the Zelina situation pass.

Rumble seemed an obvious place but maybe they'll get it right this time and do packages for him building him up
