  1. My phone is bursting at the seams with pictures again so I was about to delete my Whatsapp which is saying it has 2.5gb of data at the moment.Ā

I thought that was fine as all the pictures were in icloud anyway but I'm told that if you delete things from your phone it deletes from your icloud too. I thought everything just stayed up in the magic cloud but apparently not! So do I need to move pictures from the icloud to somewhere else to keep them, before deleting them from my phone? What do you guys do with all your pictures as this must be a common problem these days?

She would have gotten home, saw the window shut then quizzed Michael when he got home. Could have planted some seeds of doubt the next day, ā€œoooh letā€™s see if itā€™s open againā€ boom, Michael is getting bin bagged.

Off to start the daily sociopath thread.

Ahhh šŸ˜© this proves that it doesnā€™t pay to be nice. What a missed opportunityĀ

  3. I bottled a shithousery opportunity today but will tell you about it anyway - I was explaining what Google street view is to one of the secretaries today at work. She couldnā€™t get her head around it especially when I told her I could even see her house. She didnā€™t believe me so I called her over and she gave me her address. I type her postcode in and go to street view - sure enough thereā€™s her house.

Sheā€™s amazed but then storms off back to her desk to make a phone call. The person on the other end doesnā€™t answer, but she comes back to me and says ā€œMichaels gone to work and left the lounge window open!ā€. I quickly explained that the picture was taken last year and itā€™s not live. But man I now wish I hadnā€™t said anything and let Michael get a bollocking for no reasonĀ

    ''It ain't ballet, Kid''

    Fair enough!Ā

I know its implicitly dangerous, and I know that's part of why we like it, but my point is more is it worth back to back suplexs and piledrivers every week, or can we just save that for the big shows.Ā

  5. I'm only going to mention AEW here because its the only show I watch, I have no idea what WWE or any other promotions are like

I haven't caught last weeks show yet, but I find that most weeks watching Dynamite there is a moment where I cringe and brace myself to see someone get injured

Off the top of my head I have seen the following wrestlers get injured on the weekly TV show - Rey Fenix, Orange Cassidy, Ricky Sparks, Lance Archer. Then you have Kenny Omega off to nurse injuries, as well as Eddie Kingston and Miro. There may be others I have missed.Ā

I feel like the boundaries are being pushed a little too far for a weekly wrestling show sometimes. I'm not sure Cody Rhodes should be going through flaming tables and burning his back, or Sammy Guevara doing swantons off the top of massive ladders outside the ring, or Hangman Page being thrown out the ring on to the side of the steps. I also think there are some moves that should be outright banned, for example that snap suplex Kenny Omega does looks so reckless to me.

Don't get me wrong the matches are spectacular, and I know that is partly down to the risks they are taking.

Are the risks worth the entertainment on a Wednesday night? Do they need to calm down a bit or am I being over dramatic?

  6. Moonfall

As the name suggests - the moon is falling. What I didn't expect however was that the moon falling is the most sensible part of this film. To say it goes in some crazy directions would be an understatement. About 3/4 through the film John Bradley shouts "THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE BRIAN!" and that sums up the film. However if you turn your brain off and sit down with some popcorn you will probably have a pretty good time.Ā

  7. Iā€™ve never played the Dishonored games but have heard they are good.

Re Deathloop - I was the same as you early doors and nearly jacked it in, but if you stick with it things just start to click. If you still have it and tempted to go back my advice would be to go on YouTube and get the really good guns early doors, that will make combat much easier. Then just follow the leads one by one, donā€™t worry about keeping track of everything as every bit of knowledge you come across is saved in the menu for you to look back on

  8. I'll watch that clip later, I can't imagine what a competitive Farming Simulator looks like!

Popped the plat on Deathloop yesterday. It was pretty smooth sailing to be honest other than the kill all Wenjies in 90 seconds. That took me about 30 attempts I reckon and I almost threw in the towel. The Ghost at the Feast trophy that I was dreading actually ending up being one of the most straight forward and I did it on my first proper attempt!
It's a really great game and highly recommended from me, its completely different to everything else out there.Ā

Moving on to the latest Hitman trilogy now, I might even try to knock out all three games in a row as they have been in my backlog for years now

  9. Jackass Forever

Please get as many mates together as possible and go see it. Absolutely hilarious from start to end and oddly touching in places, especially if Jackass has been part of your life growing up

    Spoiler

A tucked in Chris Pontius wearing an open nightie whilst slowly dancing in the background of the pitch black rattlesnake room is pure cinemaĀ

    Ā

  10. More general school memories to be honest but...

we had a science teacher called Mr Tucker who was a sweet little bloke with a really awful hunch. Whilst teaching he would be talking to the floor, and every now and then he would kick his leg out in the air to the front, balance it in the air perfectly still, and lean back so he could see us and check that we hadn't left the room. All the kids found the way he would balance on one leg to lean back really endearing to be honest, and he used to play on it too - for example instead of looking at his watch for the time he would do a really big swing of the leg and lean back to look at the clock on the wall, it got a pop every time

We also had a head of house who was convicted and sent to prison for sexual abuse, his name believe it or not was Mr Lively

  11. Two trophies away from the Deathloop platinum. Going to attempt the Ghost At The Party one today which Iā€™ve been dreading the whole time! If I can do that I just need to kill myself in a rocket and it will be done

Can any of you beat this? My old man has got a bad cold (and thereā€™s some family stuff going on which is stressing him out) so heā€™s hardly sleeping at the moment. On Saturday he put a seventeen hour shift in on Farming Simulator 22. It came out end of November and heā€™s already hit 200 hours, I reckon he will eclipse his 860 hours from FS19.

  12. I'm sure this is old news to most people, but if like me you are so out of loop on things this may be of interest...

I've just noticed an album on Spotify called "The Metallica Blacklist" which is full of covers of songs from the Black album. There's all sorts here, Royal Blood, Chase & Status, Weezer, Ghost and even Elton John! I've listened to quite a bit of it and its pretty good - though nothing comes close to Yashin covering Wherever I May Roam that was on a free Kerrang CD years ago!

  13. I watched an episode of Idiot Abroad the other day. Karl was building shacks in Africa for charity, before moving on to a bungie jump but refuses to do it. Gervais phones to try and convince him to do it, and Karl says Iā€™ll do the jump if you donate some shacks to the charity. Gervais asks how much they are, Karl responds with Ā£500 each.

Multi millionaire Gervais then responds with ā€œOK, if you do the bungie jump Iā€™ll buyā€¦ā€¦one shackā€. Tight fuckerĀ

Wasn't today, it was Thursday, but turns out I'm the line manager of a guy who played football in the 80s/90s and is generally considered one of the hardest players of all time.Ā

I think he's one of the gruffest, but nicest guys ever. And far more intelligent than his reputation would suggest.

Did you post that the other day and mention who it was? Because I swear I saw that and even read the blokes wiki. I remember it because he played for Reading briefly. Unless Iā€™m going completely mental.Ā
