  1. All I know is that Nash was booked for a 1PW tour and would also do DPW. With all the 1PW disasters every fan was afraid he wouldn't show up in Holland. Rick promised all us Dutch fans that whatever happened, he would make sure Nash would be @ DPW. It might have cost some money ( I dont know) but the promise was kept.

Despite the 1PW fiasco Nash was indeed in Holland. So don`t hate, but appreciate.

  2. I believe the bloke in the ROH shirt is called Rick Peters. He promotes in Holland I believe.

Anything I have ever heard about the guy makes him sound like a tool and a wrestler sniffer.

Why would you say that? TNA has never toured Holland. WWE hasn't toured Holland in 20 years.

Yet, I have seen sellout indy shows in Holland with names as Kevin Nash, Rob van Dam, Rhyno, Al Snow, Billy Gunn, Chavo Guerrero, Pac, El Generico, Tommy Dreamer and so many more. Rick Peters and Mark Kodiak promote in Holland and they have always delivered. In fact this year will mark their 50th show and they never had any no-shows or had to give out refunds. NEVER.

Rick Peters used to be a cameraman for WWA in Australia in his younger years and filmed many other shows in his youth. Therefor he knows a lot of wrestlers personally. Whenever RVD visits Europe he stays at Ricks house. Just watch those RVD TV episodes.

Conclusion: Not a tool but currently one of Europes most legitimate and trustworthy promoters ;).

  3. Just watched it and I liked it.

I remember being mentioned that the family's sole income was by wrestling? Later I believe Saraya mentioned they all had "different jobs" so I am not sure if that actually is the case. I can't imagine them all living off simply indy wrestling shows?

Brittany Knight surely has that X-factor. I hope she does well.

I really felt Zac was still very immature at times. Looked to be way to young for a fulltime "wrestling lifestyle". It's not a given to have one WWE tryout in your life, let alone two so I was a bit shocked to see him second guessing, smoking, drinking beer and eating hotdogs. Despite his "Rocky Balboa" style comeback for tryout 2 I don't see him succeeding as a WWE superstar in his portraited lifestyle. Maybe I am all wrong and was this just edited this way.......However though, I was happy for him to see him against Big Show, must have been awesome for the family too.

Ricky Knight appeared as a proud dad. He must have good connections for his young kids to get tryouts. Without wanting to sound negative..., I really hope he narrows down those hotdogs as well as I felt the family seemed to love, live and breath "wrestling", but none of them seemed to live a true, healthy "sportsmans" lifestyle.

Overall, good documentary about a true "wrestling" family.

  4. Ok, OK, it might not have been a good example of something classic Russo "booked", hehehe.

But I've found something else, which is Russorific to say the least:

New Blood Rising - Goldberg vs Kevin Nash vs Scott Steiner

@ 2.40 minutes, Goldberg pushes off Nash for a powerbomb and walks away mid-match.

Tony Schiavone literally says: He walked out of the Jackknife Powerbomb which would have been "it".

The other moron announcer adds up with "Maybe Goldberg didn't want to do something which doesn't make him look good. Goldberg was supposed to go up for the Jackknife.

"If the Jackknife Powerbomb was in-fact part of this "design" what are they gonna do NOW?"

    http://youtu.be/2FMNDhmotEE

YES, in this classic, the announcers break kayfabe in a worked shoot, to tell us we are all morons, because wrestling is fake~! GENIUS!

Did I say, I hope Russo dies and rots in hell?

  5. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper gets in a backstage argument @ TNA and doesn't want to get on stage....

Russo makes them play his music anyway....

Piper eventually comes out all pissed off and shoots HARD on Russo. I've read Russo's book and Piper's shoot and apparently this wasn't a worked shoot but a real one.

Piper even calls Russo out about Owen's death in Russo's face and buries him completely.

    MUST SEE CLASSIC:

I hate Vince Russo. I hope he dies and rots in hell.

  6. Davey Richards' first ROH World Title defence took place on July 3 in Barcelona Spain. His opponent was Hollands Tommy End, who is known throughout Europe for his matches in wXw. Richards won the match with an amrbar.

Sid Vicious & Hulk Hogan vs Jeff Jarrett & Scott Steiner

Starts out like your typical tag team match. It caught my attention because I can't remember ever seeing Hogan wrestling Scott Steiner.

In the end, the commentators SPOIL the Sid heel turn minutes in advance, because Sid has a strange "glare" in his eyes.

Eventually Sid wins this tag team match by pinning his tag team partner Hogan. (SERIOUSLY!)
