  1. Just watched the whole match of Spreay vs Ricochet. The crowd was really responsive. They received a this is awesome chant and holy shit.

Very athletic match up. Two of the best at what they do.

However, it never felt like a real fight like you are used in Japanese wrestling. Probably 12 crazy spots in 15 minutes. I did not care who would win, I was just curious what they would pull off next. Kushida vs O' Reilly was much better because it DID make me curious to who would win.

Ospreay is trying to earn himself a fulltime gig. I totally get why they performed this style, because they know it works for the crowd. However I feel they sort of missed the boat a little. It felt like a cop out in hindsight.

This was their chance to challenge themselves and have a Japanese style match against each other. Prove they could work that style also against each other. If you would make a " Best of"  DVD, I would have hoped that this match would be totally different than all their other matches. Isn't that the point of getting that Japan "experience"?

Not trying to hate. I can't even perform a proper kick myself. They are amazing workers. Just a tad disappointed by style of the match.

Looking forward to their other matches and wish them the best.

  2. Big fan of both. But in all honesty, Vader is on point. It's a very athletic, probably rehearsed, dance routine.

Great on your local indy show. Not really sure if many Japanese veterans would like it.

    However, wrestling has evolved.

What would Benoit and Eddie think?

  3. I imagine he's been brought in purely to work with the NXT guys. He could settle into a decent coaching role and work good TV matches.

I've nothing against EY, he's a solid hand and I respect him but it's a signing for the sake of signing. His look is atrocious though

WWE should be really cautious when signing TNA faces.

There are many reasons why the brand failed to get of the ground. It's not just only the booking, but many of the talents overstayed their welcome for the fans.

Joe/Styles/Aries/Roode might have been the Benoit/Guerrero/Saturn/Malenko of TNA but Eric Young was more like Scotty Riggs or Disco Inferno level for me.

  4. Eric Young didn't show anything special in his match with Joe i.m.o.. He didn't get "his shit in".

On the contrary....I have no clue what EY's "shit" actually was in TNA nor am I actually interested to finding out now.

He was just basically part of TNA's furniture for 10 years. A guy who was always there doing random stuff. I probably fast forwarded 75% of his career.

Always been a fan of Austin Aries though. I really hope he catches on.

As of now, I'm not really digging to current phase of nXt. It is starting to remind me to much of TNA.

  5. I think it was a solid show.

I felt Roderick Strong had way to much offense against Damo. Hè put Damo on his shoulders way to easy for moves and even gave Damo a top rope superplex. Psychology was way off imo. Damo is a beast but it did not show in this match.

Same goes for Bodom VS Dijak. Dijak is tall and has got a great build but Bodom had a lot more offense. It just didn't make sense to me. I hoped Dijak would look more competitive.

Ricochett VS Elgin was really good.

Jody Fleisch looked in great shape. Hè was still smooth in the ring. I hope hè gets One last big run with a high profile match in York Hall.

  6. Fun show. I felt sorry for Aries when Corbin had him in the resthold and the crowd didn't start clapping. Hè did great but Corbin still has a long way to go.

    How awesome was Samoa Joe!

Bobby Roode got a good chant going. James Storm must be going nuts right now. Beer Money in WWE could actually have become a real thing if he just had a bit of patience and just did the indies for a year.

  7. I was expecting everyone to be excited about the Owens VS Styles match. Instead I read more about AJ'S promo.

It's like I am surrounded by females talking about As the World Turns. I bet everyone is going to shit about His hair and Jericho's trunks again after they have a classic @ Mania.

  8. I turned off TNA recently. Their current roster has no debt. I just can't watch it no longer.

I simply refuse to watch anything with 'Crystal' Meth Hardy and Tyrus Cellulite.

Get off my freaking TV. Straight up legit 'change the channel' heat.

It also broke my heart to see James Storm again in TNA after nxt....Hè must be so depressed by now.

And for some reason I always hear just white noise when Eric Young cuts promo's.

Sorry guys I am tapping out on TNA.

  9. Enjoyed Uprising. Big Damo vs Nakamura was very exciting.

All the UK guys are OVER. Good crowd in London.

One of the camera's was dodgy as f***. It kept refocusing due to the bright lightning. I might need glasses after watching the show.

Will be watching Global Wars also during the week.

    Thank you RPW.

  10. Gave up on TNA a year ago. Watched a few recent episodes. THey still don't get it.

However after reading about Hardy winning the title I was actually planning on watching BFG. After just reading about the vacancy, I've decided to simply not bother.

I'll watch the RPW/NJPW London show instead.

TNA will never get it. WHat a mess.

Hardy got all these congratulation messages from WWE stars, fans etc.. and now the win is just basically a swerve.

"Crystal" Meth Hardy looks stupid once again.

If I want to watch a bunch of meaningless (storyline wise) matches, I can also watch WWE Main Event or Superstars on the Network.

  11. Paige is the Total Package. She is beautiful, has an unique look, loads of talent, years of experience, natural charisma, technique and she can talk.

Just wish WWE would use some "veterans" in the Divas division. A feud with someone like Lita, Gail Kim or a Mickie James could be great for someone like Paige.

  12. Really great event. Very entertaining and high quality wrestling.

    • Sydal vs Ospreay was a classic. They worked hard and they deserved the standing ovation afterwards.
    • Grado as Matt Classic was a lot of fun. The match was much better than expected.
    • Aj Styles vs Scurll took me a while to get into. The chemistry wasn't there at first.but they nailed it in the last 10 minutes. Once Scurll gets "warmed up", he can hang with the best of them.
    • Big Damo surprisingly stole the show for me. The best "big man" match up I have seen in a looong time.

Also, congratulations to RPW for being featured on WWE television (this weeks NXT).
