If I remember somebody mentioning this correctly, I think it was disabled because old word association game threads were leading to shite posters clocking up thousands of posts and basically +1ing all over the place.

It never ever counted in fact. There was a big reluctance to even have an off topic forum. There used to be a few off topic threads that would pop up in the main forum, these would either find success (with numerous people moaning about them) or would be closed. When off topic was opened it did not count towards post counts at all, back then there was a lot more emphasis on post counts in general, and I guess that was one of the stipulations.

Did a cracking Philly Steak Sandwich last night. Use a piece of frying steak which I sliced wafer thin on the diagonal.

 

Fried off some onion and green pepper, threw on the beef, pre-fried mushrooms and my own seasoning blend (known as magic dust to my friends and family), fried till just brown, then covered in a blend of Chedder, Red Lester and Cheshire cheese. A splash of beer to set the steam going, then covered with a closh for a minute to melt the cheese, quick mix and on the baguette.

 

Fan-fucking-tastic.

I used to make them, but I've since moved on to something much better.

Steak - cooked medium rare, fairly thinly sliced

Baguette - crusty but not super hard

Boursin - spread on baguette, put hot steak on top

I loved this film when I first saw it, but I really struggle to get through it whenever it's on. It's a great film, but knowing that ending is coming up kind of spoils it for me I guess. This is in essence stupid, because I can easily watch the main event from WMIII time and time again. In a way it has the same effect that "The Sixth Sense" has I guess, although that is a much much worse film.
