It's probably because he tried to log in again. If you aren't logged in the forum lets you view the forum etc, when you log in as a banned user you see the "LOL U R BANND BY MOD NEIL LOL" message and can't do anything. But it would update the "Last Seen" timestamp.

Funnily enough this is how one of TwoSheds duplicate accounts was found. Good ol' TwoSheds was banned at the time. He then posted from another account saying "I have a weird problem. UKFF works fine here, but at home it tells me I'm banned! Yours truly doesn't get whats going on".

Speaking of "status quo", ever noticed the connection between a band of that name who gets large masses of people chanting optimistic lyrics ("whatever you want, whatever you need") despite having their freedoms taken away. Absolute genius work by the Bilderberg group putting that "band" together.

I struggle to watch Seven purely because it absolutely terrifies me. Something about the murders and the way they are done just scares the utter shit out of me.

It's a great film, and like Houchen said, the soundtrack is wonderful. Although I would say it goes a bit too long.

I had got my wish and some others aside from me had voted for Three Colours: Red, I'd like to have seen a 'Did It Have Shit On The Market?' for that.

I dunno, Blade Runner certainly looks pretty 80's to me. In addition, also one of the best visual movies of all time, so a tough comparison. I think Alien has aged pretty badly in terms of visuals. I blame the fonts they used, make any computer screen look very dated.

Disagree with this QUITE STRONGLY. This was on TV a couple weeks ago and I watched it because I absolutely loved Total Recall. I was actually expecting it to be badly dated, and the visuals kind of are, but the storyline is still excellent. There's a great mix of action, comedy and a thought provoking storyline. I still love that at the end of this film there is the "Well...was it all a dream?".

Excellent, excellent movie.

One thing that always stuck out to be with the Karate Kid was that he seemed unable to walk between spots. He'd always run. Probably due to the huge amounts of cocaine Macchio was allegedly on.
