  1. The way I see it, Enzo and Cass are due to move up, they have been the top face team in NXT for some time. Unfortunately not holding the tag belts. I think that is mainly because other teams needed the belt more to be over. By the time they got a big shot, plans were already in place for American Alpha and probably for Enzo and Cass to move up to the main roster to spice up the tag division. They are in my eyes a ready to go act and as long as they stay popular with batty Vince should do well. If they stay in NXT much longer I think they would need to turn heel or lose momentum as an act. There isnt much else for them to do apart from possibly get beaten around by The Vaudvillans en route to American Alpha for a post takeover program.

  2. Not usually one to focus on perving over the girls but who was the girl they zoomed in on after a segment who was wearing the slap nuts T-shirt. Blonde hair and the full works, easily noticeable especially in a 2000 Jarrett shirt that had been modified to fit her shape.

First I guessed it was Noelle Foley but it didnt look like her, has Double J got a daughter in her early twenties or was it just because the show was in Nashville.

EDIT: Wasn't Foley and according to Karen Jarrett's twitter it is available on pro wrestling tees.

I noticed Brie also has one of those nasty vag area tats which was protruding out of her tights last night. Can't stand those and surprised WWE let her have it peeking out as it looks a little porn star ish

  3. Vince gave Taker his yard. Taker these days isn't dead still living, or a mortician, or whatever, he's a grizzled vet that cares about his Mania record and he's always said the WWE was his yard. If he doesn't think Shane is right (go back to the days of the Ministry or whatever of the spoilt brat trying to run the company) then he's the one to take him out. He's always seemed to have more of an issue with Shane than Vince storyline wise. It could work.

As for a spoiler for next Monday

Taker's been announced to appear, pretty sure it was their instagram that told me that.

I just don't buy that, Undertaker has never given a crap that Vince gave him the "Yard" has had a feud with Vince since Shane and is portrayed as a loner who can and does what he wants above the company. Shane would need to become a mega dick very quickly for this to work and give us reason for Undertaker to not want him as the boss. Right now Shane is being portrayed as the new savior who will modernize and take this company to new heights etc.

  4. I was pretty shocked at Shane coming back, especially as I said to myself this would be in an interesting moment to bring Shane back a few seconds before.

Now though i'm baffled by the booking. From the story-line perspective it makes sense to have Shane locked in a cell against a hell of an opponent. But I cant work out what the Undertakers motive would be for agreeing, he would need to be under the thumb of Vince or see wrong in what Shane is doing which means aligning with the authority or making a bigger deal over what's locked away by McMahon Jr.

Also the story-line came out of nowhere a bit and I just feel some hints or buildup would have been nicer. It felt a bit like shooting your load instantly in that segment with the comeback, demands and booking. That could have been done over 2-3 shows if this is the actual match.

As said previously I'm not convinced the match will stay the same. However I think it will be Undertaker who is removed to have a separate match with Cena unless Shane is going to do a double turn with Vince slowly. I think Undertaker will refuse and we will get probably Strowman or all the Wyatts Vs Shane in the cell or maybe Ryback or something. Either way should be good fun to watch Shane bumping around the cell again

  5. Dog pubs are surely the way forward.

When I lived in Manchester there was a cafe on the corner that would have chickens roaming around. The eggs youd eat came from them, which sounds nice until you're trying to dip a soldier and they're staring at you. Offputting.

I live in Vietnam we've had dog coffee shops in Saigon for a while now, however the original one apparently had all it's dogs but one poisoned by the owners partner in life and business for some reason. There are a few more now but never been.

  6. Once the family finishes with Bray going face and hopefully Harper heel, they could easily bin Rowan unless he becomes a comedy character I can't see much else for him to do. Strowman could do with being taken off TV and given a little more time to train I think, he is big enough and imposing enough they should put more of a shine on him and then re-debut him down the line ideally with an old school manager type (dreaming here I think).

  7. Can't see it.

Towards the end of the match the lights will go out and Bray will be standing there and they will drag Brock down beneath the ring or some shitty kidnap, then Reigns will hit a spear and win. My big issue with Brock/Wyatt is that it's just so weird seeing Brock in a "Sports Entertainment" style feud, he has to be presented in matches that seem like an athletic sporting event and a real big match fight, him getting kidnapped or struck by Bray's lightning effects is just shite.

Agreed, although i'm sure the undertaker used some magical stuff against him. Just having the Wyatts as hillbilly thugs in this feud is the best way, just a group of big men  trying to take him down for whatever cause. No silly shit I hope

  8. Except that the top billing has been done 3 times in high profile situations, yes that does happen but usually with lower level people in lower level positions.

Unless they have something up their sleeve like Triple H dropping the title to Wyatt  or The Rock at Fast Lane (Yes I know everyone keeps saying he isnt wrestling before people chime in, this is a hypothetical example) to set up Brock vs Wyatt or The Rock at the big show they will certainly stick to Triple H vs Reigns.

The big problem is this 3 way face triple threat match. I'm sure Ambrose is in there to take the fall but this as stated will be killer to reigns.

Hopefully they have something good in their pocket but I doubt it

  9. Could have been a funny moment but I sat on the train and thought about how I kind of liked Jericho match making. It felt fresher to have a lively babyface host who made a match instead of the Authority. I stand by my opinion but I still feel a little dirty saying it because it was super hammy Jericho

  10. I could see them being able to push Reigns Vs Triple H forward to fast lane, having Brock Vs Wyatt at Fastlane for the title match at mania and then having Reigns Vs Brock, Rock Vs Triple H at Mania instead. However I think they will go with Reigns Vs Lesnar either for the title or contendership at Fast Lane then Triple H Vs Reigns, Brock Vs Wyatt and god knows with The Rock if he is wrestling. I could see him being a referee or enforcer in the main event more likely.

Speaking of Brock if he wasn't a part timer I could see possibly see Wyatt taking the belt at the rumble so the title match is on a weaker match at Mania than Reigns Triple H

  11.

Johnny B. Badd/Marc Mero was quality. Can't think of anyone who gets more flak despite being pretty darn good in the ring and super charismatic to boot. Also, his JBB entrance gimmicks were ace.

I didn't realize he actually cropped up in TNA in like, 2004/2005, with the Johnny B. Badd gimmick, I always assumed WCW and by that point WWE would have owned the rights to it? Because didn't Vince want to bring him in as Johnny B. Badd in the 90's and they couldn't due to the character being owned by WCW, I remember that story from one of Cornette's interviews, think it was the Timeline one.

Actually I heard Vince brought him in as he thought he was getting Johnny B. Badd and of course the gimmick was WCW's so he couldn't even rip it off at the time

  12. So someone that most were happy to have fill the midcard, had a decent and easy ass story to promote gets thrown to the side because Vince doesnt get it. HE is the kind of guy who could probably survive a bit of 50-50 booking if he is given a little promo time and exposure for character development. I never saw Breeze as more than maybe a good 2-3 month IC title reign kind of guy but he is definitely better than being superstars fodder for sure.

  13. Im not sure if that Alliyah girl was in their as a joke, Breaking ground tie in or they actually have made her gimmick in NXT by getting her to play incompetent rookie. I honestly didn't expect to see her again.

I liked the little promos for the girls before the battle royal, especially the more jobber-esque girls. As a development they need to start developing a couple into a place where they can possibly win if they are to have any future credibility. Carmella Vs Bayley makes a nice hapy feud until it goes into the real takeover match

Didnt understand Ciampa Vs Burch, a nice little match but neither are contracted talent and it seemed a waste. This is still a development territory and for me that still needs to be at the forefront so unless they are going to do something with one of them it seemed a wast of airspace

  14. Hate it! how hard is it to switch it around even on a 4 week cycle what you see in the first 10 minutes

    1) Authority Figure + others to set up a match

    2) Annoyed wrestler cuts promo

    3) Hot match

    4) Announcers recapping something big for 2-3 minutes and then hyping the previously announced main event

    and mix and repeat!
