If anyone had told me twenty years ago that the only McMahon in the company in 2022 would be Vince then I’d have said they were insane. Yet here we are. I’d say Nick Khan is probably the real boss in the company now or at least will be eventually.

My mate worked for him. Relocated from Cheshire to London. Found himself working ridiculous hours on literally around two hours sleep some nights. He quit. I can’t say I blame him.

Brexit is just one of those things that we have to accept for the foreseeable. As much as I hate it and I’m yet to see any benefits whatsoever, it’s here to stay for a long time. Pledging another EU Referendum in your manifesto is seen as a betrayal of democracy by a lot of people. Which it is really because it was something that has already been voted for and decided. I don’t even think Boris Johnson believed in Brexit. He just went along with it to get the top job because you know, he’s a cunt.

I’ll probably end up watching Neighbours again for its last few weeks. I’m interested to see how it ends. Meanwhile, the Turkish version of Neighbours Komsular lives on.

Sounds like there’s going to be another Regal episode of Talk is Jericho (next week perhaps?) where I’m guessing they’ll talk more about what happened with his WWE release and how he ended up in AEW. This week’s episode spent more time than expected talking about his health problems but I agree, it was a fascinating listen.

Foo Fighters now charge a lot for their concert tickets now that they’re a stadium band. I saw them at the Etihad a few years ago and I felt underwhelmed and ripped off.

I never got to see Randy Savage wrestle (or appear) live and I’d have liked to have done so. I saw Hogan wrestle once at a TNA house show in Manchester ten years ago. It turns out that was actually Hogan’s last match.

Even Adam Johnson was still playing for Sunderland while on bail until he was found guilty of grooming a minor and sent to prison. Most clubs see success on the pitch and the money it involves as the most important factor above all else it seems.

Spotted Alan Dale sporting a bubble perm as Dr Forrest. Believe Judy McBurney who also played Pixie Mason in Cell Block H died about four years ago.

I’d forgotten about that Lucy storyline. She also nearly died of a bee sting and Clive Gibbons performed emergency surgery on her on the Robinson’s kitchen table. She also had a brain tumour removed a couple of years later. Then in the early 90s, the Melissa Bell Lucy was kidnapped by a crazed stalker. She was most unlucky was poor Lucy.

My mum used to watch the Young Doctors and my main memory of that was Sister Scott falling down the hospital lift shaft. Good times.

Finding Pam and Tommy to be quite good so far. Although there’s no need for Tommy Lee’s talking penis. Lily James plays Pam Anderson superbly.

Maybe I’m looking too much into this but I don’t see why Sky’s social media team would tweet this if Sky weren’t interested in showing Neighbours themselves. Either that or they’re teasing the fans.

A lot of schools probably had this too so maybe not that strange but I recall our secondary school having a rule whereby every time a teacher walked into the classroom, the whole class would have to stand up in silence and drop what they were doing. I always found that to be a strange and boot-licking thing to do.

The actor who played Tad showing up in Runcorn-based sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of crisps was one of the most random things ever.

There was talk of Home and Away facing the axe too but that somehow managed to survive. For now anyway.

Not watched Neighbours since the late 90s but for some reason, the news of it facing the axe saddens me. The programme has relied on its UK funding for decades. It’s looking like this really is the end of it.

Everton might as well give the job to Big Dunc and see how he does. The Rafa appointment worked out even worse for them than I expected.

Vamp was signed when Bischoff was in charge but he went away for a good few months after his debut in ‘98 (maybe he went back to Mexico?) and came back around March ‘99 when WCW was starting to go into free fall. Haven’t heard or read any comments that Bischoff has made regarding Vampiro but can only guess that Bischoff saw him as a midcarder.

The Tories already lost the North Shropshire By-Election which was traditionally a very safe Tory seat. If that’s anything to go by then I’m guessing the Tories will have bad results at the local elections too. Boris Johnson won’t resign himself but if the Tory Party think there’s a chance they’ll lose the next General Election with him as leader, then they’ll force him out. It happened to Thatcher, it almost happened to Major and it happened to Iain Duncan-Smith when they were in opposition.
