  1. I cant help but imagine myself as the guy in the striped shirt, being randomly attacked by 2 guys, trying to defend myself only to get called an asshole by my hero and made to walk out through a crowd of 25,000 jeering peers.

Hopefully the guy was an asshole and did start it, but no way Grohl could have known.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing. Here's hoping the guy was a legit cock.

Teenagers spin a duck round and round too fast:

I was laughing before I saw the video. :(

  2. someone posted that wretched Cher Lloyd song earlier so heres the official video

she's listening to her own song on the Ipod, what an arrogant little thing ahaha. By the way it IS Cher Lloyd and not a 44 year old parodying her.

Rebecca Blacks "Friday" shits on this.

Boredom + Bravery x Stupidity x (I can do better x No I can't) = Something worse than Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Black combined. :/

  3. .

I saw a bunch of these a while back. One video in particular really got me, but the sound is missing for it in that compilation, so there's the link. Even worse when you hear the boy.

    The whimpering. :(

  4. Glad to say I covered myself and lost. Done a very minimal amount, so I'll happily do the same for the final match tomorrow. I've only ever done very tiny bets, so should this win come through, I'll be beaming.

  5. Got a question for you guys:

As posted above, I've done an accumulator on seven games. Five have been played so far, all with wins, but I'm now at the point of getting itchy feet. Would you bet on the other teams in the 'Win Or Draw' field a a safety precaution, or just not bother and risk having a (dare I say it) FML story to tell if it goes tits up?

  6. The Killer Inside Me. "A West Texas deputy sheriff is slowly unmasked as a psychotic killer."

I'm undecided on this. I really wanted to like it despite the average reviews. Casey Affleck played his part as the nutbar sheriff rather well and the story looked good on paper, but it got to a point where I just wanted the film to get to the ending (which in itself was pretty awesome). Although it's not a film I'd be in a rush to watch again anytime soon, I think it might fare better on a second viewing.

Just one more thing (Columbo stylee). When it first came out, it was deemed a tad controversial and got some complaints due to Jessica Alba's character getting somewhat smashed about. I'd put money on it that the same mob wouldn't batter an eyelid if it wasn't a precious Hollywood starlet playing the role. If the filmakers didn't want controversy, they would've cast the Trampy Bird Shit Woman from Home Alone 2.

I also watched Fargo for the first time, but taking into account that it's been around for 15 years, that I've never heard a bad word about it and that I'm probably the last person to watch it, I don't see any point in saying anything other than "Brilliant stuff".

  7. Bret vs Vince.

    Cena (not) being fired.

The unveiling of Jeff Hardy's shit belt. It would look at home on a Diva or at Mardi Gras, it does not look like anything a manly man of a wrestler would ever want to own, let alone fight for. It makes the WWE Tag Team/Elizabeth Duke titles look like the Holy fucking Grail.

Probably not the biggest but I'll nominate it anyway: the end of the Straight-Edge Society. For all of CM Punk's awesome preaching and the rivalry with Rey, the dwindlings thereafter and the half-arsed (near self-imposed) dissolvement of the S.O.S just made it look shite.

  8. Inception - I found it to be ever so slightly overhyped, and the ending went too quickly for my liking:

I'm not a huge fan of "viewer decides/cut-to-black" endings, even though the spinner more than likely fell on account of the wobbling.

    ");document.close();

Other than that, I thought it was very good with swish performances. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is fast becoming a favourite with me.

The Expendables - The final 20 minutes or so were enjoyable, but for the majority of the film I was trying not to fall asleep. It needed more Terry Crews. :/
