Speaking of that movie, it was on Film 4 recently, and didnt have loads of generic late 90's early 2000's heavy metal music in it, and had a very bad B-movie style sound track all the way through. Didnt it used to have various crazey metal songs in there? Such as "Let the bodies hit the floor" etc?

I have a soft spot for the Friday 13th films. The first one ripped so much off from Halloween but has some cracking steady cam stuff in it. Saying that they just ran out of ideas, jumped the shark more times than any other franchise (Copycat killer, Jason is a devil Parasite, having Mahatten in the title of a film and setting the majority of it on a boat in Canada, letting Crispin Glover dance)

The ending shot from the original of Leatherface dancing around with the chainsaw as the sun rises is so fucking beautiful that the rest of the film could be stock footage from a box company and I'd still love the film to pieces.

 

Sir I could hug you. I've been blabbing on for years about that scene, it's only about 10 seconds long but you're right, it's beautiful. It's just such a departure from the rest of the movie, he doesn't give a shit that the girl got away, it's strangely peaceful and just epic as fuck.

I love this about games. I remember having difficulty with one of the levels, possibly Just Business. After many failed attempts one Friday afternoon and with the evening fast approaching, I decided to knock it on the head and go out. I came home after a few hours and braced myself for many more attempts, but finished it in one. It turns out I needed to be drunk to do it.

I made a weird sound of excitement at seeing that poster, even though I hate 3D with a passion. 2D version or not, I'll be watching.

I'm hoping they've put the word 'FIVE' over the V for the benefit of style and not because some of the target audience are confused by Roman numerals.

I like to tell myself that the rioting in Enfield Town is merely a re-enactment of the riot scene in Police Academy, in memory of good old Hightower.

Stupidity and danger aside, I can't be the only one who thought about taking advantage of the riots by breaking into Argos and sliding down the conveyor belt.
