  1. Get Him To The Greek:

I'd heard that this wasn't very good in comparison to Forgetting Sarah Marshall (which it spins off from), but I found myself enjoying it more. There was a time when I couldn't stand Russell Brand but I've slowly grown to like him, and he's not bad in this at all. Definitely worth a viewing if you've got 90 minutes spare. Hell, just watch it for P. Diddy or whatever he's calling himself now.

  2. It makes me sad that I remembered all the sub-headings. :(

Just watched Damage starring you-know-who. Not a bad film at all and it had more of a plot than I expected. Worth a watch if you've got time to spare: there's one scene that I watched a few times over (from around 4:08). It's partly down to the scene but mainly for the awesome music.

Edit: Just to cover myself, the link is a spoiler. :sly:

  3. She fancies you!

Not so much an idiot at work:

I work in a team of two, and the other guy passes fairly harmless comments although I sense an underlying of spite. He'll say "Are you still here?" in a friendly manner if I'm working later than normal, which is usually to maintain my flexi-time. The other day I was there fairly late, as was he. I'd been entering information onto the in-house database for ten minutes, all the while he just sat opposite listening to music. Out of nowhere he pipes up (again in a friendly manner) "Now, is there a reason you're here so late or are you just building up for days off?". I told him I had to be somewhere in London and wanted to kill time at work instead of go home and come back again, all true as I was seeing a mate's band. He replies with "Ah, me too", although I'm not sure if he's being too honest about it. Hell, I could just be misinterpreting an attempt at making conversation (and who doesn't like building up flexi-time?).

  4. Name that band/song! I saw a video earlier which focussed on a man and woman in bed. The woman wakes up and it looks like she's going to leave, instead it turns out she's rohypnoled the guy and ends up dumping him in a car boot. Pretty sure the band is well-known (they sound familiar, maybe mid-slot at Sonisphere festival material), but I was so sidetracked by a music video not being about hair or crying that I forgot to see who they were. :/

  5. Defendor - Woody Harrelson is a self-made superhero, although less like Tony Stark and more like something out of Mystery Men. For what it is, it's pretty damn decent.

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World - Refreshingly awesome, respectfully mind-fucking and Kieran Culkin is brilliant. Even though the style of the film might take getting used to (or not be to everybody's liking), I'd say it definitely deserves a view.

  6. On a similar note what was Sheltons Benjamins finisher at the end of his WWE run called? Always thought it was 'Pay Dirt' but could never be sure.

You would be correct, good sir.

Just watched that You Bet! video. Jesus, what a fashion-intolerant nation we were. :/

  7. Watched The Deer Hunter for the first time the other day, what a heavy film. A tad choppy in terms of editing, but in a good way (and 3 hours for a film is long enough, damned if I'll ever watch the uncut Das Boot). One part that cracked me up:

The Russian Roulette official doing a rap pose after Nick shoots himself. The most dramatic scene in the film and all I could think of was someone saying "Wurrrrrd!".

  8. what a brilliant little interview with Flair there, he sure does loves the business felt so sorry for him at the end. He seemed really cool.

I'm ashamed to say that, where I've seen him cry several times on WWE programming, it got to a point where I sometimes thought it was an act, as they almost looked like Hollywood-style tears of joy. The end of that interview made me feel like a twat for ever doubting. Poor Ric. :(

The newest John Cena Gillette commercial. It's pretty funny, in a John Cena sort of way.

That was pretty good, and they picked a damn convenient location too. Not because of the sinks and mirrors - if a normal guy walked in on John Cena bursting out of a cubicle, they'd poo theirselves. :/
