  1. I sense Edge will come out to tease challenging Finn, Dunne and co come out to confront Edge, go for a 3 on 1 leading to Finn and O’Reilly coming out to even the odds and make the main event of Takeover a six man, McAfee’s boys vs Balor, Edge and O’Reilly

  2. Of the current crop in WWE it’s Tom Phillips by far with Vic Joseph a close second. Cole can still be good when he can but compared to the other two he’s starting to give off ‘JR near the end of his guest run’ vibes and from the brief clips I’ve seen Andy Shepherd is awful on NXT UK

JR is my all time favourite commentator but I think he drags Excalibur and Schiavone down at times, Tazz and Excalibur work well together on Dark

  3. Enjoyed the Yoko episode, got a proper lump at the end when they were talking about Yoko being on tour here right at the end, one cos it doesn't feel like 20 years since I witnessed live what would be his final match and 2 for seeing Samu and Afa getting visibly choked up talking about their last conversation with him

  4. Got round to watching Wonder Woman 84 this afternoon via a non on demand site, didn't enjoy it as much as the first but it was decent and I liked the get around explanation for why Steve was back. Also finally got around to watching Joker on the same site, I can see why it was talked up so much, Phoenix's performance was unbelievable as the character was descending deeper into his mental psyche

  5. The 2014 Rumble should have been Roman's, Batista's comeback had already begun to flop only a couple of weeks in because no one wanted to cheer for him and the Shield were mega over even as heels (they didn't officially turn fully face until the night after Mania). The other option should have been putting Bryan in at 30, calling an audible to pull Mysterio last minute (they could have covered that by saying Ambrose and Rollins took Rey out as one less obstacle for Reigns) as the crowd were demanding DB as the match wore on

Sting and Warrior Vs Hart and Hogan happened didn’t it ?

Yep on an episode of Nitro so not even a PPV main event and Sting was in his Wolfpack phase, I don't think they even played up Sting and Warrior's past as the Bladerunners either

Just saw this. I just had two Warriors tagging each as The Ultimate Warriors and never bothered explaining why there were two. Also had a second Mr Perfect exposed as an imposter and eventually they reconciled and became The Perfect Team and I’m pretty sure the other got called Mike something. And Ted DiBiase #3 might have called Brian.

I done this with my Galoob WCW figures as I somehow had two of the blue trunks version of Lex Luger so I dubbed one as Rex and had them as a team for a while until I traded Rex to my mate for his Arn Anderson

  8. Cena getting drafted to Raw in 2005, within a matter of weeks he'd began to lose everything that had got him over on Smackdown and was paired off in title defences against over heels in Jericho and Angle which began the long trend of Cena getting booed out of most buildings and getting morphed by the booking into SuperCena. Its only since going into semi/full retirement and only appearing sporadically that he's got any face heat back

I’m pissed off that as expected Dinosaurs wasn’t there this morning.

I think Dinosaurs was for the US market only

  10. Buying movies is my big addiction, with Funkos and mini figures a close second, though I haven't bought any blind bag/blister card figures in a while. The One Below in town had a bunch of stuff in in and around Christmas but I never got round to picking anything up

Fucking "content drop". Listen to these arseholes. They're like Vince McMahon not liking people saying "wrestling". You can't say TV show or film, it's content. Homogenising wankers.

That’s what every streaming service terms new movie/tv additions, just the way of the world these days

  12. Just to note, like last week, two Dusty Classic matches are on 205 Live tonight, Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari were due to face Ashante Adonis and Desmond Troy until Adonis got smashed everywhere by Karrion Kross on Wednesday, they’ve now been replaced by the unlikely team of Tomasso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher, fresh off the Fight Pit match.

The other match sees a first for the show, a women’s match, as Candace LeRae and Indi Hartwell take on the debuting Gigi Dolin and Cora Jade, the former Priscilla Kelly and Elayna Black respectively

    No more Jessamyn Duke?

Still on the injured list supposedly

The rest of the bracket btw for the tournament is Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter against Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez, which is airing tonight, and the team of Aliyah and Jessi Kamea against Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez

    Three new signings..

    Zoey Stark (FKA Lacey Ryan)
    Gigi Dolin (FKA Priscilla Kelly)
    Cora Jade (FKA Elayna Black)

Priscilla didn't do so well on the name front..

All three have been entered into the Women’s Dusty Classic, Dolin and Jade are teaming up against Candace LeRae and Indi Hartwell while Stark teams up with Marina Shafir against Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon

  15. Talking about Non League football, a crazy night has happened in the FA Trophy tonight. Leamington beat Kettering 3-0 at home (but playing as the Away team because Kettering's pitch was unplayable) in a game that saw Kettering's captain get sent off in the 11th minute for two quick bookings, one for slapping the referee's hand away then the other for mouthing off because he didn't agree with the yellow nor the free kick the ref had given, then after being led off the pitch, he apparently went nuts in the changing rooms punching a door so loud that it could be heard by Leamington's Twitter Admin reporting on the game. Then, with Leamington 3-0 at half time, the flootlights failed so the game couldn't restart till after 10.30 and then Kettering wound up having two more players sent off late on with the game finally finishing just under an hour ago

  16. My Amazon Prime Video subscription ends next week so I'm trying to take advantage and watch a few things before it ends

X : The Man With The X-Ray Eyes - a 1963 Roger Corman film about a guy who develops an eye drop formula to help people see beyond the normal range, and falls the same way all scientists go in those type of films, going completely mad and out of control

Gargoyles - a practical effects fantasy horror TV movie from 1972, little bit cheesy but decent and the make up effects from Stan Winston, the first film he worked on, on the Gargoyle characters are really good

VHS Nasty - a 90 minute documentary about the hysteria over the so called video nasties over here in the 80's and the cult following it built up in the aftermath of the law being passed. I've seen many different documentaries/shows about the subject before but this was pretty decent with plenty of screen shots of various movies from that time

Greetings From Tromaville! - a 2+ hour documentary about the history of cult movie studio Troma and it's owner Lloyd Kaufman. If you're a fan of any of their films like Toxic Avenger, Troma's War, Poultrygeist, Nuke 'Em High etc its recommended as it goes through the entire history from Kaufman's beginnings to the company setting up their own festival after being snubbed by Sundance

  17. It's really bizarre how much Raw is tanking in both show quality and ratings, yet the same company has two good to great shows later in the week. I mentioned not long back that the third hour seems to be a killer weekly for Raw but even at 2 hours I don't think it'll get much better. The feuds on Raw are all over the place, Charlotte and Asuka are supposed to be the tag champions yet neither appeared with each other for their respective singles matches, Jeff Hardy is still lumbered with Elias over something that happened months ago when they were still at the PC, Retribution are still more miss than hit but are at least starting to get wins and turning attention from Ricochet to New Day, and more specifically Kofi hawking back to the Kofimania angle from nearly 2 years ago and Drew has been put in a filler feud with a beyond past it Goldberg and an overly stale Miz

I would hope those KFC crisps will taste more like the Colonels secret herbs and spices, but I imagine they'll just taste like roast chicken.

One of the food reviewers I look at on Instagram has tried both the regular and the Zinger flavours (the latter being in the Double Crunch range) and said they taste near enough exactly like KFC

Holding a show at anything more than 30% would be bad optics. Sponsors would be tearing their hair out with 100% capacity at a stadium while Coronavirus is still a major thing

In reality they still can't have fans in an arena. Correct me if I'm wrong but the NBA and NHL are still operating without no fans in attendance. Also aren't the NXT "crowd" paid extras

NXT is a mix of non televised talent and a locals in proximity to the Capitol Wrestling Center

  20. The talk about Mania getting announced in Tampa for April reminded me that Austin Theory, pre Speaking Out revelation and linking up with Gargano on NXT, was in a trio with Andrade and Angel Garza during the empty area run on Raw last year and got a Mania tag title match out of it
