Christ this card has taken a pounding. It wasn't exactly the strongest anyway but today has hurt it even more.

Honestly I haven't been a fan at all of la knight but he has got himself over and this popular so organically that I'm now starting to get behind him and enjoy his stuff.

His finisher is one I think I really like but not overly sure if that makes any sort of sense outside my head.

There is fuck all chance of him winning this weekend but he has earned the match and the chance to be in a main event title match with Roman 

Mate that card is FUCKING stacked and will be a very very good one. There going to go big and end the year as strong as they possibly can do 

I am so happy to admit I was wrong last month when I said green was not a main eventer because he was unbelievable in there and got it done in thirty seconds so I'm all about that co main.

It's been mental how much I've enjoyed him being back after genuinely hating him when he was full time.

He has actually been really good in ring and on the mic and it's been refreshing too have him for the 8/9 weeks consistently again. If this is the last smackdown for him will be be on the crown jewel PPV and that be it I'm guessing.

Also I've read today that apparently Roman reigns will not be appearing at survivor series which is fucking outrageous and at this point I'm now pissed off with him being out for so long but having both titles 

Yeah have to agree with that one, I've found him entertaining as fuck in the past but Christ the past few press conference's he's been a total tit and looks like he's sunk a bottle of JD before going out there

We get this situation happen for the last PPV less than three days ago in which a fighter booked originally gets the opportunity but a new opponent but Jones drops out and Stipe gets fucked off and taken out of the main event. 

Not a fan of this main event personally it's a huge let down in comparison 

I'm fucking really excited for the in search of darkness 1990-1994 part one documentary that is set to drop end of this month early next I believe and I'm alot more familiar with horror from that era than the eighties bar the super obvious huge one's however they are FUCKING great watches and really insightful and interesting if your a fan of the genre 

Is everyone confidently saying this show happens then and in Saudi Arabia with everything right now and the clear evidence that the danger is so high that there safety can't be guaranteed 

Honestly I am excited for this more so than alot of fight fans I know..... not just that I am pretty fucking confident that Francis can get the knock out......

He doesn't have to think or worry about anything else like he did in MMA he just solely needs to defend and throw punches that land. Tyson is obviously the best boxer in the world and has been for so many years however he isn't exactly known for his unbelievably strong and heavy hands..... Francis is FUCKING known for that and he's had the fucking main man mike Tyson in his camp getting him ready so it's not like he's not fully been in a real training camp for this.

I love Tyson fury and have loved him since he started being so vocal and open with mental health for men and himself but I really do see the chance of Francis finding the opening too land one of his devastating punches and this will be heavier than he took from wilder also a good point to make 

I've had a friend tag me in a post saying I need to watch the osprey Vs bailey match which he has made the boldest statement ever and said it's better than his matches with omega which really seems bold but I was going to check it out and I'll watch tomorrow 

Personally I really did enjoy the card unfortunately it didn't end up the runaway winner of ppv of the year like I said in the run up but it was very very enjoyable, that could have something to do with the time it was on for us and the amount of beers down we all were come the start of the main card.

Personally I disagree with the comments about khamzat I was so impressed with what he did in that first round to a former champion and huge name like Usman, he said he broke his hand or wrist in the first round which if that does come out as true makes sense why he wasn't able to really throw many punches and fully try for a takedown in the second or third. I scored it for khamzat winning the first and third round second was for Usman.

Man that main event completely broke all of us and left us speachless and heartbroken seeing that happen to VOLK, the post fight presser with him had me in tears personally he really seemed to be somewhat crying for help and having a bad period right now with mental health which he seemed comfortable too briefly mention but the barrage of questions afterwards made me feel uncomfortable let alone him. Don't poke and prod a fighter clearly in abit of a sensitive way.

The walker fight was fucking nuts I genuinely thought they were going to end up fucking scrapping like they were outside a wetherspoons but they luckily stopped it and cleared them both out.

Islam is a very real fighter and really does seem unstoppable for the future challenger's of olivera and Justin he's made a believer out of me 

Fucking hope that Henderson doesn't come back or anywhere near a professional setting again personally. 

If so he was doing so well to be a old name that wasn't one to have a comeback

I will imagine it will have to be rewritten if they don't decide to scrap it completely which would be a shame I was actually looking forward to that, nice late nineties sketch show throwback. Not many of those you could bring back and do in 2023 lol

Ahhhh man I don't hate that and him signing and at his age like you mentioned he gets to have a run in the UFC. He's exciting when he turns up and goes in wanting to show his worth but he has had fights that have been dull and underwhelming but I don't expect him to have that mindset often in the UFC the biggest dance you can fight for.

Couple of years contract could be a good one IMO I suppose we will ultimately see

Haydn Gwynne of Drop the Dead Donkey, The Windsors and Billy Elliott fame has died at 66.

Very sad me and my fiance weirdly know and are friends with the brother of Stephen Tompkinson (he's the lollipop man for the other nearby school and we see him daily) he has been telling us they were doing rehearsals for the live drop the dead donkey show and tour that was set to happen next year so this is a huge shame to hear 

I honestly hand on heart believe that we are getting a new champion in the main event and more importantly we are getting khamzat as the number one contender and a title shot next early next year (I said khamzat would be the champion by mid 2024) 

This card really could turn out the card of the year for me for so many reasons

Fuck me what is the alternative if that's the case then, try to very last minute get a venue and run in the US and then reschedule as soon as it's safe and permitted 

I'm absolutely fucking devastated to hear this news. They absolutely did so so well on the main NXT roster and TV and I am shocked they lasted longer than Trent seven and some other very talented British talent that got signed and were on NXT Also.

James Drake was flying the flag and representing my little home town of st Anne's and Zak Gibson was someone I've always respected and got to train with and whatnot back in the day so too see them both go in as a tag team and stay a team the entire run and do so well is a huge testament and something they should be forever proud of. I hope they get some good bookings around the indy scene

This card isn't great but the main card isn't bad so I'll check it out along with the last two fights on the ksi and Logan Paul card just cos I'm so desperate too see both of them get knocked out cold 

I got my text yesterday afternoon saying I needed to book my booster in and I'm getting it today at nine at my doctor's.

With everything I've got wrong with me I need to be on the ball with that stuff and I'm going to the arena on Monday to see blink so I want to be as safe as possible with that many people in close proximity 

I'm stunned. I am so tired and jetlagged but something told me I had to watch smackdown live tonight and half of me is so glad I did because Jesus Roman has been missed

But then Kevin Owens being announced as the draft to smackdown which split's him and Sami up and leaves them both with nothing after all the momentum and levels they were at for wrestlemania is mind-blowing 

I genuinely cannot believe with our normal luck with UFC big shows and top fights falling apart and replacements this surely has to be close to the all time best outcome.

VOLK getting the rematch everyone has been so desperate for since the first fight then khamzat now getting fucking Usman the former champion and in many people's minds one of the goats jesus Christ I was already so excited but now it's another level.

I am saying volk gets the job done this time round and khamzat wins but I can't decide what way he gets it done but all I fucking care about is he does it and gets a title shot next which I've been saying he will be champion by mid next year and fuck me that is so good this has every potential to be show of the year
