Don't they try and keep things down to about 3hrs these days? Two wargames matches and the 3 others with all the ads for Peacock should use up the time. That's what happened last year.

Yeah man probably right there the war games matches are long tbh and we will get shenanigans and backstage shit.

Here we go last show of the year I really fucking hope it's a good one

I love Gunther, but I’ve never enjoyed a Miz match. I hope he destroys him in under a minute. Escobar probably deserves better than a match with Carlito. No idea why Shotzi is in the match, she’s bloody awful.

Nothing for the Bloodline or Logan Paul? Madness.

Oh shit yeah I forgot about Logan Paul

Why's he not on this ppv

Between this post and the one for Bellator, which he said was amazing when it wasn't, kfog has been taking some positivity pills by the looks of it.

I still can't get my head around the fact that there's six million dollars being given away on no names that nobody cares about, on a PPV which no one will buy. It makes Afflictions business model look reasonable. The Saudi cash must be flowing in like a tidal wave.

A seven fight PPV, with five 5 round fights sounds awful too. Everything just seems to be done wrong with the PFL

I'm not having that the last bellator card was fucking great at least in terms of the main card I enjoyed every single fight on it.

And I'll change slightly and make an addition for me personally the main card on this PFL card is a set of potential great fights with each fight having fighters I know and enjoy so yeah I'm hyped for it.

Brucey bonus it starts at 10pm our time too however the same time the Gcw show starts aswell so I might split screen then both at least for the prelims for PFL anyways.

Trust me in person and overall I'm entirely the opposite of happy on positive pills lol so I'm happy I am coming across that way online at least

  4. I am absolutely ecstatic that will osprey is the newly signed talent for aew.

Say what you want about him and he can be a absolute tit, he is so so talented in the ring and he created his own path when every single British wrestler signed to NXT UK and went to the WWE he stayed with new Japan and continued to grow and put on phenomenal matches and put in so much effort to live over there so he really has earned this opportunity in a huge company in the states, and it's definitely the right choice because him in the WWE would be a wasted situation.

We have too get osprey Vs omega 3 at all in in Wembley please God

    It's official:

The deal sounds extremely positive and good for the sport. I couldn't find anything to give clarity about the future and what it meant for bellator.

I really didn't want it to mean bellator is done and won't be running shows but it seems that's not the case and bellator will be continuing but the contracted fighters for bellator will also be allowed to fight over on PFL shows which means more opportunities and competition and that can't be a bad thing.

I guess we will see how it works in the new year but if it is that way I'm really excited for the future of MMA next year outside the UFC

    They’re an English band.

Yeah I know there an English band skindred brought the lead singer on stage to perform machine with them in 2019.

They seem to be a underrated band

  7. Oh my god I'm so happy I decided to watch this show live instead of UFC tonight.

I really do enjoy bellator cards and honestly when they show up and deliver they really do deliver, it's just a shame they do have inconsistencies and you get cards like bellator 300 which should have stole the show turn out to be so boring and underwhelming.

I don't know if it's because I watched the prelims at my friend's house with a few beers and my best mate is very new to MMA and has never even heard of bellator let alone watched any of it but I really enjoyed the prelims from the very start and first fight.

But the main card was so so good and everything on it showed why there worthy of a main card Spot but also how many exciting and underrated fighters they have on their roster.

Seeing patchy mix get the win and submit someone like Pettis was unbelievable and absolutely deserved.

Then the main event was so so good with Jackson getting the knock out win against the champion that hasn't been beaten in that fashion for so so long once again absolutely deserving the win and holding the belt.

Last bit from me it destroyed me slightly inside watching Pitbull get so dominated and absolutely battered in the opening fight on the main card he got his lunch money taken from him which sucked to watch cos I really do like him as a fighter.

But yeah really really great show and even if just the main card I can't recommend it any stronger

Symposium and 'A' was off the charts in Manchester last night. Neither band were missing a beat and 'A' played a new track for the first time in 22 years. Off to Snuff doing an acoustic set in a little place in Hull in a mo.

I stumbled into the fourth stage at download this year just having a wander and see what's what the first day and went into the tent and A were literally just about to go on stage and start and the lack of people there and how empty it was genuinely felt sad and shitty to see. I stuck around for a couple of songs and they were tight man and enjoyable I would definitely check them out if they happen to be playing a festival over here again and don't clash.

Yeah, 296 and the Fight Night in Austin, Texas (thread coming later) are outstanding. This week’s Apex card isn’t great though and there’s a China card on Dec 9th that looks shocking. So typical of the year, it’s a 50/50 mixed bag in the last 4 shows to close out 2023.

Don’t know if anyone picked up on it but this graphic popped up on the show last night and it gave me a chuckle. Apparently Song vs Gutierrez is for the Middleweight title? 🤣 It’s one thing wrongly listing it as a title fight but at least get the weight class right!

Mate the Austin card is just outrageous it feels like a statement from Dana and the office at UFC that we can book ridiculous fight night card's that are meaningful and must see we have just decided not to for the entire year because we can!!!

I don't know what I'll do with myself for the three/four weeks without UFC shows on a Saturday night Sunday morning.

Last year my autistic brain still wouldn't let me sleep so I just rewatched a old UFC show in full without skipping like I would watch a live show haha my life is that drastic and sad

  10. Oh my god this pay per view was not fucking around man from the very first fight it just felt like every single fighter wanted to put on a show and try and steal the show and those cards just make you absolutely love the sport and the company so damn much.

I'll be honest I did not have Tom winning the belt and the fight but I said from the start I wasn't doing it or saying it because I wanted that outcome I just really believed Serge was that scary and unbeatable but fucking hell I have never been more happy to be wrong in my life. I am the furthest thing from a passionate nationalist, I support our British fighters but never did I imagine we would have two British champions in the UFC and seeing Tom get that huge win and knock out and Dana put the belt around his waist just had me sitting with tears of joy and that feels so so good man.

What a incredible show which flew by and didn't once have me looking at the time and feeling tired and worn out absolutely the opposite and this could go in the contendership for show of the year in my opinion.

4 show's left for us to close out the year and the last ppv is absolutely stacked obviously but we have a fight night that's outrageous too.

I love this sport so so fucking much Man

My mate has managed to get us on the guest list to see Focus in Blackpool in about 3 weeks, which will be very exciting. I'm at Lancashire Hotpots with my Mum a week on Saturday, Soulwax in February in Manchester, and another friend has gotten me a ticket to see Goldie Lookin Chain on their 420 tour in Preston in September 2024. I'm betting my mum's going to get tickets for the Summer Hotpots tour as well. I'll keep going to them with her for as long as I can.

Mate I'm going to get tickets for the Preston show too I've wanted too see GLC for years it's a must do

  12. Honestly I haven't been a fan at all of la knight but he has got himself over and this popular so organically that I'm now starting to get behind him and enjoy his stuff.

His finisher is one I think I really like but not overly sure if that makes any sort of sense outside my head.

There is fuck all chance of him winning this weekend but he has earned the match and the chance to be in a main event title match with Roman

  13. Mate that card is FUCKING stacked and will be a very very good one. There going to go big and end the year as strong as they possibly can do

I am so happy to admit I was wrong last month when I said green was not a main eventer because he was unbelievable in there and got it done in thirty seconds so I'm all about that co main.

Noticed tonight is the last scheduled John Cena Smackdown appearance (although he will be on next week's as its a double taping tonight).

    Sad times.

It's been mental how much I've enjoyed him being back after genuinely hating him when he was full time.

He has actually been really good in ring and on the mic and it's been refreshing too have him for the 8/9 weeks consistently again. If this is the last smackdown for him will be be on the crown jewel PPV and that be it I'm guessing.

Also I've read today that apparently Roman reigns will not be appearing at survivor series which is fucking outrageous and at this point I'm now pissed off with him being out for so long but having both titles

  15. I'm fucking really excited for the in search of darkness 1990-1994 part one documentary that is set to drop end of this month early next I believe and I'm alot more familiar with horror from that era than the eighties bar the super obvious huge one's however they are FUCKING great watches and really insightful and interesting if your a fan of the genre

  16. Honestly I am excited for this more so than alot of fight fans I know..... not just that I am pretty fucking confident that Francis can get the knock out......

He doesn't have to think or worry about anything else like he did in MMA he just solely needs to defend and throw punches that land. Tyson is obviously the best boxer in the world and has been for so many years however he isn't exactly known for his unbelievably strong and heavy hands..... Francis is FUCKING known for that and he's had the fucking main man mike Tyson in his camp getting him ready so it's not like he's not fully been in a real training camp for this.

I love Tyson fury and have loved him since he started being so vocal and open with mental health for men and himself but I really do see the chance of Francis finding the opening too land one of his devastating punches and this will be heavier than he took from wilder also a good point to make
