  1. Apparently according to twitter talent have been given the option to not appear tonight however all of them have said they want to and pay tribute.

Also there are other talent that weren't supposed to be on that have said they want to and are coming down specifically.

Genuinely don't think I'm ready for it, it's going to be a tough one

  2. Honestly I hand on heart had no intention of staying up and watching smackdown live tonight because UFC is on at 10am tomorrow morning so I need to be fresh for that.

However now they have scrapped all plans for it and doing it as a tribute show I will be watching live and staying up for it

  3. I don't know if anyone has seen the video bray posted literally 5 hours before he passed....talking about his uncle suffering a heart attack and being dead for 20 minutes before someone gave him CPR and brought him back......

5 FUCKING hours before he suffers from a heart attack that he passes away from, truly chilling and im sat here crying as it sinks in

  4. I love that I've woken up this morning to the world convinced that edge will be turning up at all out this weekend because they haven't renewed his contract in WWE.

No compete still stands even if they haven't resigned you doesn't it??

  5. I think the above comments and statements are correct and valid. I personally think and believe one of the biggest problems and issues with the WWE product and it has always been the case for as far back as you look....is they have consistently rehashed and done the same things with characters and in ring storylines to the point where it gets boring and deflating for the fans because Vince's biggest problem is he treats the WWE universe like they are stupid and the lowest common denominator which just isn't true.

There will always be a place for big characters like John Cena ext because there is a huge audience of children but they constantly overlook the older audience which is also as important as the young ones. The era of the attitude era is gone and that will never happen again but you don't have to go from that too a completely washed down product with nothing sustainable and interesting for all audiences.

Like mentioned above the fans and audience made the new day what they became....they made cm punk......they have made Sami Zane and Cody Rhodes what they are and the level of stars because they started to do something we bought into and got behind.....in my opinion this has been the worst thing when it comes to the WWE and I won't ever understand it, when they are trying to push someone so hard down our throats it doesn't work but Vince is so close minded he doesn't care and thinks we're the problem and we will get there eventually..... but they don't capitalise and run with genuine made star's like a Sami Zane because it wasn't in the plans and it will all die down eventually.......why would you want that......the best things in entertainment is and has always been the things that naturally become big deals because it's what us the fan base has been drawn to and embraced.

I'm not saying for one second they should change the direction at every single situation however they pretty much refuse 99.9% of the time to listen and go with these things making amazing moments and subsequently creating even bigger stars for there roster as a whole because they have written the storylines for the next six/twelve months and that wasn't what was written so they won't consider going with it and changing it up.

Just listen to that reaction to Cody/Sami/Kevin this week they are red hot superstars on that roster and they aren't really using any of them to a capacity that makes sense and feeds into that worldwide reaction right now

  6. So I was set and adamant I was sleeping and watching the next Morning but my mate ended up coming over and that changed and I'm actually happy for it.

I openly said I hate Sean o malley and wanted more than anything for aljo to demolish and expose him but fucking hell that was a phenomenal outing by Sean and no one in gbe universe said he was getting the knock out and my god that knock out was spectacular.

Also the co main was a all out domination by the champ but my Christ that fight was so entertaining and I was enjoying every single second of it which I never in a million years expected

Rest of the card was alright nothing life changing but okay and enjoyable

If we're honest, O'Malley is likely getting two cracks at the title anyway. If he loses to Sterling and Sterling moves up, it'll be O'Malley and Merab for the vacant title.

Your probably right Dana is obviously pushing him to the moon and there is no stopping that it seems. I do seem to be in the minority of people who don't like him. It's not that he's not good and talented cos he is but he is being pushed too much and too fast over others in my opinion

Gonna have to elaborate here because I’d argue that the reason it has been so compelling is that it’s tapped in to old school wrestling story telling where a faction would rule for a long arse time and the story would be told over that period. It’s not doing anything new but it’s a throwback to a better time coming off the back of some truly dire Covid time wrestling.

Oh I agree that they have also leant into old school storytelling as well but I mean talking and exchanging serious and important dialogue without the microphones letting the in ring mics and cameras be in the right place to pick it up instead of the normal everything has to be shouted and said a certain way.

I also have to give it to the WWE that for once they have let something slowly grow instead of the usual rushing and thinking they have to force it and the fans are that dumb.

It has felt like watching a movie more than anything j can think of from recent times which is also refreshing

  9. Oh this storyline with the bloodline has genuinely changed the industry and the stuff they have brought into the mix making it feel like a movie is groundbreaking.

But three years is so long and I think most of the universe agrees and believes Roman should have lost at mania but they decided to drag it out for another year and I just feel it's too long they could do what they are without those belts but it is what it is

Nate's only success seemed to come late in rounds, I don't think he was ever close to really hurting Paul though, he just threw so many of those little punches and came forward so fast at times that he would put Paul onto his heels.

I don't know about that one, honestly there were a couple of times Jake's head was bouncing around the place

I get what you're saying but isn't it ALL for the sake of drawing it out? None of it is real. Each part is crafted to continue the story. Who's to say what they've had planned and for how long? None of us know where we are now in their plans and how long any of it has been discussed.

It'd be interesting to hear all sides once this is all done. There's got to be a lot of stories to tell and a lot of decisions being made along the way. It's a fascinating piece of business.

Your absolutely correct we don't know what the plan is and why and I will be watching smackdown at least this week to hear Jimmy explain why because for me on the surface it just made no sense at all, even if Jimmy is jealous and upset about jay capitalising on his injury and being "main event" jay uso....the reason he got injured and put in hospital was because of Roman and solo so surely he would want him to dethrone him and then take umbridge at him getting the belt.

They have knocked it out the park with the level of storytelling so I guess I need to give them more credit and at least let them explain but it just felt so disheartening

  12. I think deep down I knew reigns would win but that finish just left me fucking angry, the whole point of that match happening was solo and Roman injuring Jimmy and jay wanting revenge and redemption towards the family that did the damage to his blood and brother.

Jimmy turning and having Roman look clueless about it just feels like they did it to draw it out more instead of the world following and being genuinely invested. At least to me it felt like it deflated the crowd as opposed to previously where reactions were so deep and heartfelt.

At least for me personally I feel taken away from it all than I have been and honestly this has been the most emotionally invested I have been towards anything in WWE for so many years, so that sucks a hell of alot because I don't want to see the USO brothers in a singles feud just for the sake of drawing all this out.

    I gave Nate 3 rounds, 97-92.

I think I gave him 4 round's but off the top of my head I can't remember which

2, 4, 6,7 something like that there were two rounds where Nate had him in deep water but it would end and he would go back to the start and loose momentum

  14. I'll be hand on heart honest which never really goes well on here most the time....

The fight was so intense and hats off to Jake because that loss to fury clearly made him up his game, that first round was terrifying but it's Nate Diaz and it seemed to wake him up slightly which did throw Jake off at times.

Nate doing what he's always done inside the cage and playing possom and keeping his damn hands down simply was not the right gameplan inside a boxing ring.

I will say though I was offended by the judges scorecards as one judge gave him one round and the other two gave him two and I gave Nate at least four I would have to go back and watch it (one day no time soon however)

If he is serious about the rematch in MMA he will get fucking schooled but it's Jake Paul and he will probably go back on his word with that

  15. They have been teasing the rock being there tonight for so long and in so many subtle ways (this week smackdown jay doing the rocks punches to solo) it will be more disappointing than survivor series if he doesn't turn up.

However I really am looking forward to this one there are a good amount of matches that I'm interested in and then the main event I now care about more than I ever thought possible.

    Bring it on
