Some more confusion around Holyfield/Belfort. Dan Rafael reporting that the fight is an exhibition, the contracts signed point to that and the venue knows. They are just advertising it as a pro fight. Its all weird.
Why are they posting about it on twitter saying it starts 6pm est if the fights won't start for another 2 hours?
And am I mistaken or is this literally just a 4 fight show?

so excited because I'll be fully recovered from covid but in 2 weeks I will be seeing Bring me the horizon in Sheffield.
It will be my 7th/8th time seeing Bring me live but I haven't seen them in over 3 years and I got my ticket for Christmas so I'm so so excited for it

I went to slam dunk north festival on Saturday and came back and had a horrendous bad throat I thought it was laryngitis but yesterday I got up and felt the worst I've ever felt so did a test and I've tested positive.
I have honestly never felt this bad in my life. I've got a rash all over my body, I am struggling to breathe at times and I'm sweating like I've never sweat before I've just got up to go outside for a fag and my entire bottom sheet and my pillow case Is drenched in sweat.
My missus said that around day 5 is supposed to be the worst well today I'm on day 2 and I feel like I'm going to die

I read the post on Facebook before about her Instagram live last night and how everyone was worried about her but this is horrific to hear she took her own life.
Weather you were a fan growing up or not hearing the news anyone has been in such a bad place they felt the only way out was to kill themselves is fucking heartbreaking.

Wow what an unbelievably sad way for nxt to be going into. I know it's regularly said now how amazing it is to have something like nxt within the wwe corporate umbrella, and for the longest time they have smashed anything main roster wwe have done but it was always only a matter of time before Vince got butt hurt and jealous of them constantly being raved about and getting 4/5 star matches quite regularly in comparison to the shit they push out on a weekly basis.
If your triple H right now you have to believe he is absolutely fucking raging at how he has been treated and what they are about to do to his baby and little pet project.
We know all to well how quickly they can ruin something good in a matter of weeks. I guess it's no huge shock why Adam Cole hasn't resigned and he's got off before this hostile takeover begins.
In one way it's funny that they can't be proud of this project and let it be what it is,.on the other hand it's really sad that they see something different and successful and have to destroy it and make everything in there product boring and depressing

skimmed through this show this morning and while this is supposed to be the second biggest show of the year for some reason personally from my standpoint this did not feel close to the "biggest" show of the summer.
Why did they decide to go with the entrance way they went with it looked terrible in that big ass stadium and also meant they couldn't have any pyro at all. The best they had was smoke cannons. Which also took away that BIG/PARTY vibes summerslam usually gives off
Edge vs Rollins was the best match I watched nothing that will be talked about this time next year but good none the less.
The co main event I just do not understand bringing back a big "Legend" putting him straight into a title match only to be made to look old as fuck and a shell of his former self but fair enough this is WWE.However this might just be my opinion but fucking hell that main event was bad. 20 minutes of it was just so flat......You could clearly and openly hear Cena calling spot after spot after spot, I know he has been bad for this in the past but Jesus he wasn't even trying to fucking hide or be subtle about it.
The best bit was the return at the end and Heyman doing the best sell job of the entire PPV.

Fuck, we’ve already got one unnecessary interim title in the main event on this card. We don’t need another one.
Aldo vs Munhoz doesn’t scream PPV co-main in 2021 but what can you do on this notice? It’s still a quality fight and will almost certainly be a way better and more competitive fight to watch than Nunes mauling Pena would’ve been anyway. And it’s definitely better than Pena vs someone for a bullshit interim belt.
No dude your 100% right on the mark here in 8 days notice they were never going to be able to find a big fight to replace the nunes fight.
I'm not like completely against Aldo vs muhnoz being bummed up and it rightly so should remain a 3 round fight at such short notice. I'm not the biggest fan of none title fights being 5 rounds anyway bar the Diaz Brothers they could fight the first ever 10 round fight and I would be all in on that shit haha

I'm more of the view that it's pretty sad a guy as talented as him has had to essentially paint himself into a corner to earn some recognition and cash. Without the gimmick he's just another bland fighter, and would likely be nowhere near where he is financially.
This is where MMA and pro wrestling are bluring lines slightly because in the grand scheme of things when that door shuts its as legit and real as can be. You can get seriously hurt, you can get badly beaten up to certain extents where it can take years off your life.
HOWEVER I think the whole gimmick/promos/controversy to sell tickets and ppvs is where it becomes very much like pro wrestling. Fighters like Colby have a tendency to one minute make me smile and chuckle then the next feel slightly dirty and sad in the blink of an eye. But when it comes down to it his inactivity from the cage won't even come into it where ppv sales are concerned because that man can go on any interview or podcast and the next day everyone is talking about him and thats some real power and position within the sport and the ufc.
This is why we will always see fighters that can talk and create more headlines using a microphone leapfrog over several worthy and more deserving that can do it harder/better/faster/stronger in the cage because there are so so many shows and fighters now you have to stand out and make people look and talk about you over those higher up the rankings.

I'm not a karaoke singer I'm actually in a band have been for the past 12 months mate and the last solo show I did do 3 weeks ago was a sold out show which was around 170 people mate so while you might get a quick giggle or high fives off people on this forum I know I'm doing very fucking well with my career and every bit of time/passion/energy I do put in pays off and gets me recognized and noticed by the right people in my industry.
So you make your snide little comments and think your hilarious but please try to get your facts straight when you do try
