I'm happy to admit I don't really follow AEW bar bits and pieces however the barbwire deathmatch main event got me intrigued.

Kingston Is fucking brilliant and seems to be really over, however I think there's a reason no one was begging too see Chris Jericho at this age in a deathmatch.

It was very very stop and start with a few decent moments mixed in like the walls of Jericho on the barbwire table was genius had it been the finish but it ended up being so awkward, Kingston holding the barbwire chair then Jericho reversing with the code breaker only to have the barbwire chair fall on his face was something to be seen.

But the finish with the team being brought out the cage only for the key not to fucking work so they just left through the bars was a different sort of dumb then you see abit of a beat down and then the camera shows nothing of the conclusion.

Then finally sammy Guevara comes out but decided to enter the ring on the bit wrapped in barbwire and then fucking got tangled on the barbwire table....... 

It wasn't terrible but as a casual fan it was so stupid and filled with botches and plagued with some of the worst camera work I've ever seen for a wrestling company that size

I think alot of people agree they needed change but I think advertising they are now going back edgy instead of a natural process makes it seem more disjointed

I don't know why my brain plays tricks on me but earlier this week when I realized it's in Singapore I thought we would get a better start time here in the uk but of course that's not the case.

Quite looking forward to this ppv tonight although I stand by the point it's not the strongest ppv in a good while however you can't help but get interested in the last 3 fights on the main card

So last night I went too watch Russell brand in blackpool at the winter gardens. He was absolutely incredible and did a very long and fairly impressive show. It was really weird and unique in the sense he did the first half where he came on and did bits and pieces of material but then did some interaction with stuff the audience had submitted when they bought there tickets and that first half alone was a good 45 minutes.......then he had a 20 minute break where he came out and met fans and whatnot, then the second half was the proper show which I imagine at some stage will be a Netflix special. Then that finished he did another bit of meet and greet with the crowd before doing a small meditation session if anyone wanted to stick around and experience it.

Really really funny and immersive show overall however I did feel that it was very political heavy throughout but I suppose that is what you expect from Russell now.

Then this morning the new ricky gervais Netflix special came out and in my opinion it's his best too date. He speaks about woke culture and focuses alot of that sort of area. I absolutely love offensive stand up comedy so this was exactly what I go for with stand up and I absolutely loved it and can't recommend it enough if that is your sort of thing, however I would bet money on by the end of today articles and Twitter will blow up by people that watched and have got offended and upset about every single bit of the special.

This show had some fantastic fights throughout and caught me off guard thinking this would be a build to a fantastic co main and main event.

It of course in my opinion did not do that at all. 

The yoel Romero fight was fucking terrible, he barely made any effort to push forward or do anything (which is some fighters game plan to have their opponent have no opinion other than move towards them in their guard) but it was so dull and most importantly when yoel had him hurt on a few occasions he did fucking nothing or showed no urgency or energy whatsoever.   Then to make matters worse he somehow gets the win by tko when the bell had fucking clearly been and gone leaving everyone including the fucking commentators confused.

Then the main event was just as fucking boring if not more. Ryan Bader might imo be one of the most boring and uninspired champions in recent history.

I can't believe no one has picked up on this BUT there was a BKFC show on last night/this morning 

And making his debut was the man formally known as Jack Gallagher 

That entire card looks fucking brilliant.

I watched the weird channel 4 highlight show for show 2 last week but I will be watching the entire show this week including prelims

The Mike perry fight was yet another spectacle for all the wrong reasons, that lad will not learn.

The spin kick to the dick was truly brutal but then he lay there talking fine on the mat for so long the commentary team were calling him out on it.

However that eye gouge was fucking disgusting, he had 2 fingers deep in his eye socket so I actually felt fucking bad for perry.

Fucking hell when everything is stacked in bellators favor to go out and really show what they can be for MMA and a strong number 2 company in the world it just goes to absolute shit.

Because of what happened in the co main and the main event its taken away from how great the Pico vs Edwards fight was, Edwards coming in on just 2 weeks notice to face Pico and that kid had heart and took a total beating, however I think he gained alot of respect and notoriety from the mma world tonight.

Okay the co main was a fucking disaster in probably the worst way possible, this isn't just a title fight this is a fight for 1 million dollars so the stakes are potentially life changing for both fighters in that cage. 

I had Anderson winning 2 rounds to 1 until that accidental headbutt, Anderson literally told the ref and the ref originally said keep fighting, Then he decided shit no maybe not with 3 fucking seconds left in the round which would have given us a clear and decisive winner......but nope he called it 3 seconds before which meant no one won, the million dollars wasn't claimed and the champion retained. This is the worst case scenario and instantly pissed the crowd off so that put even more pressure on the main event delivering to bring it back for bellator.

And then the main event happened and I was shocked how fucking bad it was. They both were so cautious about pushing forward to the point there was about 10/13 minutes where they both stayed in in middle and did nothing. 

I really like pitbull but he did not look good here and did not deserve to get the unanimous decision and the belt after this outing. 

So with 2 huge fights that had alot of buzz and stakes both of them fucking failed and left a black cloud over the company when they really could have showed the MMA world what they can do

I had some beef seafarers crisps at the zoo yesterday and Holy shit they are so underrated 

I'm really excited for this tbh. The dome is an amazing venue and I'll be there to enjoy the experience 

Holy fucking shit this main card was quite the Rollercoaster.

Khamzat absolutely proved the world he is legit and 10000% for real. I think the fact this went all 3 rounds did him more good than anyone else because he showed so much during it and by far it was the best and most intense fight I've ever watched live.

I do not agree with how the co-main went at all I had 3 rounds to yan and in the post fight press conference Dana white agreed he was shocked with how that went which is such a shame because it was a great back and forth fight but this does not help Aljo whatsoever because this is 2 times he wins the belt in shitty circumstances and he isn't going to gain anything from this once again.

Then the fucking main event my God this is exactly what volkanovski needed because he went out there and looked the best and absolute strongest/scariest ever. I absolutely agree with herb stopping the fight in the 4th round you could argue he could have stopped it earlier because the sheer amount of damage he took tonight is scary and potentially life changing for any top level athlete.

Overall a very very good show tonight even if I am absolutely dead and emotionally drained now haha

Genuinely hyped for this one. I usually have a load of mates round for the PPV'S but tonight I've decided to watch alone so I can actually focus and take it all in.

These last 3 fights are huge and I feel so good about them 

So I'm sure some of you have seen the videos online but Dana has come out and said if khamzat gets the job done tonight, the ufc have a big show booked in for ABC and he said it will be khamzat vs Colby main eventing that card if he goes out tonight and does what he says he will.

That is fucking huge man and I am more excited for that fight than any of the 2 title fights.
