  1. May be a minor point in the grand scheme of things, but a lot of this abuse happened inbetween March and August 2020 when the vast majority of the USA was subject to lockdowns and social distancing measures due to covid. While most of the population can't see loved ones or leave their houses, these pricks are acting like that. Another example of how these cunts just live in their own worlds, completely untouchable, not beholden to the same rules and laws that the rest of us are.

  2. Hook coming out the week after a star-making performance to absolute crickets set the tone for what was a pretty good episode of Dyno with an all-time bad crowd.

If they booked smaller, unique, intimate venues and packed them out it would look so much better than generic arenas being 75% empty and all the lights being turned down to hide the low attendance.

  3. I wasn't a fan of Mac's dance either but Charlie in Ireland broke me. Incredible performance.

Favourite episodes are either the 'Wildcard' episode, the high school reunion, the musical/gang turns black episode or the 'who did the shit?' episode. But season 2-10 are filled with so many strong episodes. The Gang Broke Dee and the waterpark episode up there too.

I've also got a soft spot for season 14. The zoo episode, the film noir episode and laser tag episode are all great at a time when they could be forgiven for phoning it in.

Favourite blooper is 'Stop Charlie! This game has gone on long enough!' which has worked it's way into my common vocabulary. Special mention to 'He doesn't even get us, man' 'We were talking about you!' which is an incredible bit of improv.

I agree Chest, but spare a thought for poor old Gary can't even get half a shandy after his Welsh Baptist send offs.

He's not that arsed, he has to rush home early anyway to catch Xplosion.

  5. That's just reminded me of when one of the Sin Cara's got unmasked on Smackdown and Booker T on commentary was doing the Kane-esque 'EW WHAT THE HELL, WHAT A FREAK' and it was just a normal bloke under the mask.

  6. When I was about 11 I thought these were the height of fashion. Distinctly remember being on holiday somewhere and rocking one of these badboys along with bright yellow sunglasses like I was in fucking Too Cool or something.

After mentioning the brilliant Betty I decided to look if there was a second season coming, it apparently came out in 2021 in the middle of Covid and fully embraced the period. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere and even the HBO trailer has minimal views, it's as good as the first but with more facemasks.

I've never seen Betty but loved Skate Kitchen. Is it essentually more of the same? As I'd be well up for that.

Is this the first live TV on Netflix? Week one, Michael Cole’s gonna be calling it the longest running weekly episodic TV in Netflix history.

They aired this really weird golf/driving hybrid competition called The Netflix Cup live. I remember because I had bad flu at the time and thought I was having a fever dream.

  9. A mate of mine (who, to be fair, is usually very smart) once posted on our Whatsapp group "I don't get any restbite while I'm at work". We've taken the piss out of him ever since.

This is absolutely shit, but I don't mind their Elvis Isn't Dead song. I'm so, so, sorry everyone.

They're one of those bands that I know are absolutely shit yet still quite like them in spite of that. A genre of music that I could call Creed-core.

  11. I used to love Dodgeball. If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball. Except the Lance Armstrong scene has aged terribly, obviously.

I quite liked The Way Back with Ben Affleck a few years back. As generic as they come but Affleck elevates it.

    I, Tonya was really good.

And another shout for Skate Kitchen. Cracking film.

At the very least, Cena regained the belt from Miz in a three way cage match vs Morrison at Extreme Rules 2011.

Otherwise known as the Osama Bin Laden Compromised To A Permanent End Match.

Doesn't quite roll off the tongue that one.

    Great bit of the film.

    Yup. Facts.

Me and a mate have got a bit of a running joke where everytime we see those daft pics of people with quotes they definitely didn't say, we send them to each other. Except now I've started photoshopping my own quote onto the bottom. The last one I sent him was a black and white picture of Tommy Shelby with "You don't get anything for a pair, not in this game" at the bottom.

The best one I saw was a picture of Tupac with "A wolf doesn't concern himself with the opinions of sheep", because it's common knowledge that Tupac was one of those Facebook moms who keep their pyjamas on to pick the kids up from school.

A Hook v Cristian build could be a lot of fun…they’d have to tease dad Taz getting involved in some kind of stare down (up) between Cristian & Taz. Does Taz still have the ability to put in a choke hold, or is he completely out of action?

He put the Tazmission on Cody a few years back so I can't see why not, I always get the impression Taz doesn't really want to get involved in Hook storylines though.

  15. I never ever turn films off before they're finished. I've probably done it twice in the last 15 years. Even if I hate something, I think 'ah well, it'll be over in an hour or so'.

I just got 37 minutes into Lift and had to knock it on the head. I've seen worse films but I don't know if I've ever seen something so obviously uninspired and lazy. If the people making this film can't be arsed, why should I?

Seems mad that Kevin Hart used to be half-decent comic relief, too.

  16. Joe vs Hook was a great little match.

Really enjoying AEW since Worlds End and that continued on this show. Joe vs Hangman vs Swerve for the next few months will do me nicely.

May have shed a tear at that Briscoes segment. Imagine seeing Mark Briscoe, with that connection he has with the crowd, the inbuilt emotional title-chasing storylines you could do with him and instead choosing to drown him in The Hardys Lake of bullshit.

  17. Incredibly jealous reading this thread.

All I've got near me is a shithole Showcase and an even bigger shithole Odeon. The Odeon is the only building that I still get lost in despite going there for years, because once you're past the foyer all the corridors leading to the screening rooms are identikit and all look like 'backstage'. The amount of times I've walked into another screening while trying to find my way out is ridiculous. It's genuinely scary at times how easy it is to get lost in there.
