That's true @King Coconut, although again that relies upon tape trader types keeping those pirated copies.

I guess that also goes some way towards alleviating my other thought, which is once everything is digital and streamed, it means revision of history is super easy. Ā At any point the WWE can change the edit.

Consider "The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior" or the Chris Benoit Best Of DVD. Ā Those things will never see the light of day again via WWE, they'll just exist on people's shelves. Ā Or the edited version of Hulk Hogan's NWO speech, which I believe is different nowadays to the original broadcast. Ā I'm sure there are better examples!

Dusty Rhodes coming to the ring for his match against Savage at Mania 6 to the Wheel Of Fortune theme.Ā

  2. Let's hope the trailer doesn't get damaged when it drops tomorrow. I couldn't get into GTA5 properly. It felt too big. I loved San Andreas though.Ā

  3. That's a really good article with some really well thought out choices.. I wonder whether in that universe Michelle Gomez and Peter Capaldi would still find themselves cast opposite each other as the 12th Doctor and a gender-swapped Mistress. Maybe Tennant would get cast as 13.

  4. I thought Alan Whicker was dead?

Out with friends on Saturday and somebody was talking about when she lived in Dubai, and how everybody had adopted a lot of elements of American culture, including a mention of "people going wild when the new Rihanna album dropped."Ā

I'm sure you can all imagine my response...Ā

  5. I really enjoyed it. Felt a bit like something Steven Moffat might write in places. The doppelgangers and the mystery was great. I agree that the Fourteenth Doctor is very different from the Tenth, but then he's also hundreds of years older than the Tenth, and has been through a lot, plus Donna was Tennant's best companion by a country mile because neither of them was trying to bang the other one. I prefer Fourteen to Ten, but Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor is my Doctor.

There was so much love between David Tennant and Bernard Cribbins at the end as well. I almost wonder whether neither of them knew the other would be there before that scene was shot.

The image of Ncuti Gatwa in the trailer for next week was a heck of an image. I'm really looking forward to seeing what his Doctor is like. I hope we don't have to wait until the very end of the episode to see him.Ā

I watched the Mind Robber Tales Of The TARDIS. it's one of The earliest stories I remember seeing when they were repeating some of them on BBC 2 during an anniversary year. I want to say 30th because I remember watching it in my gran's back room in her tiny telly, then firing up my Amiga to play some Street Fighter II. Anyway, this and The Three Doctors is probably the best job they've done of editing these longer serials down to the ninety minutes or so they do to allow for the little intro/outro stuff they wrap around it. Time Meddler next. That'll be a good one.Ā

Well, this is a shame. Between this, and her (and Jack Perry) liking some wallies tweet about MJF ā€˜ruining the feelingā€™ of AEW, you just start to wish these guys could speak to one another and get off social media.

A fine Dynamite, everything just feels a bit muted at the minute. The Devil having fonts, graphics and branded gear for his mates felt a bit lame.

Iā€™m rooting for them so hard that they land this Devil thing and get the momentum back they had pre-Wembley.

The Copeland/Christian stuff is fun, and Edge is doing his best work in years. I just wish heā€™d gone round the AEW houses before landing on Christian. Iā€™d love to see Edge/Omega, Page, MJF etcĀ

Maybe it's also for the best to get it out of the way now, then let him move onto the other programs as opposed to him being in these other programs while everybody is saying "when is he going to wrestle Christian?"Ā

I have this awful feeling that Sting's last match is going to be against Flair, when it should be against Darby Allin with a view to passing the torch.Ā

You aren't thinking like those LadBaby grifters Keith. What's the betting that as a tribute to Shane they release A Sausage Roll Of New York with 10p going to the Trussell Trust.Ā

"the boys from the NYPD Choir still singing Galway Bay, and the bells are ringing out for sausage rolls."Ā

Also, I see Alistair Darling has tapped out at 70.

  8. I do wonder how much of it was her going even further off the rails after Candido passed away. Candido was probably the closest thing to a constant in her life, in spite of how she treated him. I wonder how she'll get on in prison. Will she even make it back out? She did bring this on herself, and it's a shame as when she went into the Hall Of Fame it looked like she had at the very least started to try and get things back on track.

  9. The look of the show will probably be down to either Sony or Disney. The new stuff the sonic screwdriver can do and things.Ā

I saw a lot of people getting upset about Rose, including one who was in about how 20 year old trans women shouldn't play non binary teenagers because of how they're not able to medically transition, but he soon shut up when I asked why he was so interested in trans teenagers.Ā

TIL the McFly song ā€œ5 Colours In Her Hairā€ was inspired by Suze from the hate crime tv show ā€œAs Ifā€.Ā

That show was essential viewing at our house when I was in Uni. Sunday morning was As If, then the Hollyoaks omnibus. Usually because we were hung over from Friday night.Ā

I learned that Liberace's first names were Władziu Valentino.Ā

  11. I picked up Forklift And Extreme on Switch as it's Ā£3.50 on sale. It's a fun enough distraction at that price. I know there's a free mobile version, but I'd rather play it using a controller. The physics are fine, but it's an odd choice to play from an isometric angle. There are camera controls to rotate your view, and there is a first person view, but it doesn't let you look behind you when you're driving backwards. The levels are almost like Tony Hawk levels with multiple goals. Move the boxes to their destination, do it within a certain time, find the F-O-R-K letters, and do that within a certain time, find the secret safety poster, avoid hitting any obstacles. There's a loot box system, and you get paid for each level you do, which lets you buy other characters, liveries for your forklift, and new models for the forklift as well. For Ā£3.50 it's decent enough, but I wouldn't pay the Ā£15 it was asking for without the discount on the eShop.Ā
