Will the tiered pricing involve charging more for the big 4 events?. I can see them going with the vault/archive material on the lowest tier, other PPVs and big shows (Takeover and such) above that and the premium level content being Rumble, Mania, Summerslam and Survivor Series. A download option would be great but they'd need to really DRM it as otherwise it'll end up all over the internet. Unless there's with like an identifier (e.g. account number)embedded somewhere in the file so if you share it elsewhere they'd know about it.
I suspect if a tiered pricing structure does come into effect, the "big" events will be on the highest tier and will then be added to the other tiers after a certain period of time, similar to how Raw and Smackdown are added to the Network now.

Looking to the left of the above photo, you can see where the WWF got the idea for Lex Luger's Stars and Stripes bottoms..

Summer of 84'
Pretty standard 'kids on bikes' fare with a Rear Window/The Burbs premise. Enjoyable enough but then the ending really kicks you in the dick. Well worth a watch if you're feeling the effects of Stranger Things being off for so long.
I watched Summer if 84' on Saturday, thought was a decent enough film, the ending annoyed so I am pleased I am not the only one!

Watching the Undertaker: Face of Fear Coliseum video and the final match on the video is Undertaker vs. Evil Crush. The match is nothing special but the commentary and banter between Gorilla Monsoon and Johnny Polo is really good and some of the comments were quite close to the mark.

Oasis only made one truly great album (Definitely Maybe).

What if scenario obviously, but it would have been interesting to see the Warrior in the Attitude era and how he would have fitted in and what Vince's plans were for him.

WWWF All-Star Wrestling could be interesting and hopefully may eventually lead to Wrestling Challenge being uploaded.

Has anyone tried the C64 Mini? Just read on the Guardian review that, despite being designed to look like an old C64, the keyboard isn't functional, so you need to use a separate USB keyboard or on-screen prompts for text input, which seems like a bonkers design decision.
Lovely bunch of games, though! No Rainbow Chaser, though - which probably wasn't even a significant game, but I'm 90% sure it's the first game I ever played.
Yeah I have played it. As you say the Keyboard isn't functional and it can be a bit of a pain to play titles that uses the keybaord as Imfound the on screen prompts awkward. Althought you can put other games on the Mini it isn't as straightforward as what it probably should be, in my opinion. As you say some of the games on there are great, I loved Monty on the Run!
You may be better off trying to source an original Commodore 64 if you can, depending on price.
On a side note, I would love a Neo Geo mini.

Have they said how much of Saturday Night is going up in this batch?
Think originally it was listed as 100 hours, but I believe it has been reduced to around 80 hours, so I think it be April 1992 up to the end of 1993.
Rumour of more Mid Atlantic to be added before the end of April as well.

So Saturday Night is due up today at some point? I’m hoping for an early evening upload. Binge session planned.
The upload has started my friend, enjoy!

For those interested, "Best seat in the house"by Justin Roberts (Kindle version) is on sale over at Amazon for 75p.

From a personal perspective, the adding of WCW Saturday Night from 1992 onwards is perfect timing as I am re watching the WCW PPV's and currently I am on to 1991. I will be able to watch Saturday Night alongside the PPV's from the following year.
I have always had a soft spot for WCW in 1993 as well.

Do MLB.TV still just leave in a slate saying something like ‘break in progress’, or something, during the commercial breaks on OnDemand or have they cut it out yet? I much preferred the NBA app experience where they’d chop the breaks up On Demand so you could just sit back and relax.
Also, is the app chromecastable/available on PS4?
Really tough finding answers to those, but I really want to get the app this year... but don’t want it to be a chore. Trying to fast forward those breaks was a nightmare.
I had it last season and they do still have the "break in progress" screens during the commercials.
The app is available on the PS4. However, you need to set up an American account, which only takes around 5 minutes. I was using it last year on the PS4 and found it performed better than the Samsung Smart TV app I was using in 2016. Hope this helps.
Hoping for a good season for the Padres......

The addition of Thunder has come at the right time as I'm not far away from its launch in my timeline rewatch, and like Dart, I've never seen a full episode of Thunder. Was it even shown over here?
I do seem to remember seeing the odd epsidoe, but I do not know if that was because it shown on one of the German channels? Which you use to be able to watch on the old SKY satellite receivers, prior to SKY digital coming along, rather than say, Cartoon Network/TNT.

Been watching WCW Nitro on the Network and just watched the first episode in February 2001 and I really think that the promotion came on leaps and bounds compared to the previous 18 months or so. Ok, so there is still some dodgy/bad angles but generally they seemed to be back on track.

Add me to the people who thought Hillbilly Jim was already in the Hall of Fame. Fully deserves it and seems like a decent guy whenever I have seen him interviewed etc.
Wonder who will induct him? Are the Godwins still on good terms with the WWE?

Does anyone have WWE Unreleased 86-95 available?
Thanks, have this sorted now.

Zack Ryder has also commented but not giving the real reason why he pulled out of the project. I have seen more tweets about it, so will have another look and will post a further link on here when I locate them again.

The comments on his Twitter account have been quite fun to read over the past few days.

I always thought it was a later decision than that to switch it from Washington to Wembley? Remember reading that there was an original card that was changed. Wasn't it going to be Bret and Shawn?
I seem to remember the same thing as well, I also seem to recollect an Ultimate Warrior Papa Shango match being announced. When it was moved to Wembley the matches changed and the tag line "The Summerslam you thought you would never see" was added.

I hope the Saturday Night rumours are true, I would like to see the Disney MGM era added first, if I had a preference.
I follow WWE Network News on Twitter and a guy who regulary posts on there and is usually spot on with what is due to appear on the Network has said that 2018 will be a very interesting and good year for the Classic Content.
-
Must admit, I am really looking forward to this Classic content drop, whilst the other stuff has been good, this is the era I enjoy the most.
I have recently watched all of the Raw and SmackDown episodes from 2001 to 2004 (last shows leading up to Wrestlemania XX) so I was looking for something else to watch. So with these upcoming additions and I think WWE's ECW may well be my next binge watch.

I thought the XFL was in principal a good idea and if given time for the idea to mature with a clear strategy and plan it could have become a successful venture. The 30 for 30 epsiode highlights that the whole product was rushed with no players signed etc. After the ratings tanked Vince went hit the panic button and made the league have "attitude" which simply did not work.
Is it the right time to attempt to bring it back? IF, teams are announced and have time to draft players, work and have the oppertunity to train those players to get them use to the XFL and the rules before the league starts then maybe it just will work and be successful (anyone who watched an early XFL game will know that the standard was not very good). But realistically, in an era were most things are available now, resulting in people having less and less patience, I personally do not think that the product will be given the time it would require for it to become a viable alternative to the NFL.
The issues that the XFL revival will face is that it at the very least, short to mid term, it will always been seen as a secondary competition to the NFL, which in turn hurts revenue from potential TV deals as well as sponsorship etc. Not to mention that the XFL brand is already considered damaged goods from the original incarnation. One option maybe, short term at least could be for XFL games to be shown on the WWE Network. During a number of questionnaires issued by the WWE they have indicated that they are considering price brackets for the Network. Potentially, the Network could show game(s) alongside a "game of the week" on a network television platform.
As the article indicates that any XFL revival will be run as a seperate identity from the WWE. Therefore, the chances of the above happening does seem remote and if the XFL has any chance of becoming succesful, I feel it must be run as a seperate identity, as wrestling has always been considered a joke to most media outlets. Also, any XFL revival may hurt WWE stock value, which could create further issues.

I've recently sorted out my original N64 and I have decided to start playing Mario 64 again and try and collect all the stars. Think the best I ever did years ago was 71 (without the aid of guide books and the like) so be interesting to see how I do. Currently I am on 11.
What would have been.....Ultimate Warrior

I believe Eric Bischoff said in a recent Podcast that Warrior's contract was for 6 months only.
I would assume that an option to extend the contrat was available to both parties should they so wish.
