There is a "Jake Roberts WWF Heel Theme" on YouTube. Its starts with Jake saying "Trust me" and then goes into a less complicated version of his standard theme.

 

So my questions are...

 

Did he use this theme and if so when?

Austins guest brought a great side of Austin out, both episodes are good but the sweary one is a cracker listen.

 

Michaels is my all time favourite so im goin to give his a miss if he's boring. Somebody said on here a while back he is like a kids tv presenter these days, they nailed it.

Liverpool Smackdown taping attendances suck because they do Raw the night before and everyone goes to that.

This. Austin will never have another match. Since he retired he could have come back for a huge match against Brock, Cena, Orton, CM Punk and he hasnt budged once.

 

Anyone who listens to his podcast will tell you that he is living his dream and although his love for wrestling is still there, its bloody obvious he has no intention of ever getting in the ring (to wrestle a match) again.

 

Same applies to Michaels, although i think we only see HBK as much as we do because hes HHH mate. Shawn loves him some huntin' and i think he would gladly never come back to WWE again (if it wasnt for HHH inviting him to the odd Raw).

Yeah whatever it is its not going to live up to anyones expectations in the slightest.

 

As a fan now im conditioned to not get my hopes up at all.

 

Im not being anti WWE its just the way it is now, something great WILL happen eventually, it always does, i just dont expect it to be any time before the next PPV.

I thought his two part teardown of the Rumble was terrific - quite a step up from banging on about rats, swearing about traffic and drinking whisky with his Texas ranger.

For me, the fact that Reigns is still clinging to his Shield identity is a bit of a let-down. I know that people pop for the tune, enjoy the entrance through the crowd and he can't take off his Big Boss Man outfit because he's got a Samoan belly, ]but none of those things are really his. It's a bit like how X-PAC would wear DX colours and kept their theme tune long after the group had disbanded. Made him look a bit small-time.

 

I wouldn't go so far to call the brother fat. I mean he's got a weight problem but what's he gonna do? He is Samoan.

Totally agree, only interaction i remember them having is when Rock joined the Corporation and Michaels was used as his sort of manager for a few weeks in Nov/Dec 1998.

Why are people kicking off that Sky customers have asked for refunds? Im pretty sure it was the Sky customers who paid the PPV charge and not some of the crying helmets on here.

 

The PPV cost 20 quid with encores being shown until Saturday on Sky, as advertised. If you want to want to watch an encore show but did not buy the Rumble to watch live you have to pay 20 quid also.

 

Sky have then broadcast the majority of the PPV the very next night for free. It doesnt matter if its not Skys fault, they are the broadcaster so they have refunded Sky customers like myself who have (rightly) asked for a refund.

Got the ppv money back but no free Sky Sports???.... THIS FUED MUST CONTINUE!

Called Sky, got myself a refund on the Royal Rumble and 6 months free Sky Sports.  Just a heads up.
